The lower stages of the event could’ve been a little easier to complete. The randomness of the snowflakes is quite frustrating.

This tank should have been in the tech tree, after the vk 45.02b, it just seems to fit better than the vk 72.01. The vk 72.01 would be a cooler premium becuase it looks so unique and has a completely different armour profile and 150mm gun.

I’m not out of high school yet, but 500 dollars for pixels in a video game? Really? I only plan to spend $20 on the Loraine, and the rest is going to actual git’s for my friends and family. This is absurd. Aside from the VK, i think the event is alright

the only things worthy in this event are the gold crates,you can grind 20k gold and buy it at the end of the event

That's nothing compared to FGO of which very likely WG sees the sheer revenue of that wants some market share from that.

@@hydrowolf363 fgo = fate grand order. Sony who made the game fate grand order on android and apple and I do believe it can be on steam maybe recently commented that they made more from Fgo than what they made from playstation and that's from just one game in 2019.

I like how everyone's bashing the event but they're selling 20k gold for $27.99 cad when 8500 is regularly like that's 2 teir 8-9 prems or 1 teir x for 27.99. That's pretty fucking decent if you ask me.

It's better than the Maus. If it angles out in the open you need a lot of pen to get through. You can shoot the side armor if he over angles where the tracks are dont shoot the buffed up area on the top part of the hull. The weakest spot on the side armor is the area between that buffed spot and the tracks. Cuz obviously tracks count as armor in this case it will give the tank like 20-30 extra mm of armor if you hit the tracks. Not op cuz its slow lack of pen and what not but its armor is competitive. Specially cuz now players mostly dont know how to deal with it cuz its a new tank so you will have a lot more fun now than later.
Bushka I’ve mentioned this on Droodle’s and Meadsy’s reviews in the comments, but so far no answer; what about the gun depression from the rear? The turret is rear mounted, so what happens if you approach a ridge from the rear in reverse and use the gun depression from the rear? What is the gun depression from the rear? The design of the tank tells me it should be stupid good and far better than 10 degrees gun depression......?
It seems a bit better but not by much. The gun is so long off the back. I havent tried rear side scraping in it yet
Okay just checked. Rear and side depression seem to be the exact same. Gun off the sides and rear measures at 13 m out. Off the front is 31ish m out
I've only ever gotten 5 snowflakes from a crate. I'm on stage 3 in the event and crates cost 110 clementines... this event is a joke.

fully agree with you on not having higher tier tanks being premium, honestly the highest premium should be 5-6 since they should not allow a premium in ranked games as that can literally be considered pay to win in a competitive possibly money making game mode. sure they need to make money but they can drop their high tier premiums and sell cosmetic stuff for the game like maybe special effects from tank shells to make cool looking effects when you hit an enemy or the other cool things like the attachment(bats,pumpkin,shell) type of thing besides the camos and maybe implement some stuff like warthunder where you can attach bushes to your tank. though that could also be considered ptw if it covers an area making it impossible to tell if it is red or clear pen.

I wouldn't mind so much if the crates didn't need more and more mandrins each time you open one.. for the same amount of chance....
I agree about there shouldn't be a tier X tank that is buyable. It takes the fun of grinding out of the game witch is why I play alot of times. It keeps the game fresh when there are a whole bunch of tanks of all tiers to drive and grind out tank lines and feel awesome when you finally get that tier X tank that you've been grinding for weeks or even months for me sometimes.

With mouse you can pen cheeks and with standard shells but for this tank you need gold and it has smaller cheeks. And it has 10 degree of gun dipresion and 2600 dpm is really high for havey tank. It has more alfa but has the same reloadtime as IS-4. Can they just once make a premium that is not lacking DPM??? Armore is strong. Again a tank that is broken but now it's hard core broken if you can use that 10 degree of gun dipresion. Nice WG balancing of haveys as always.

I hate to see the crates jump so far . Like in the beginning you get 10-20-30 clemetine but next is 60-90-110 and so on per crates. Why not stick by 10 ? Since snow flakes is not guaranteed 50 all the time . I get 3 crates that gave me just 5 snowflakes each . Its easy if WR just put it in the store rather than putting in on the event where tou cant really get it without spending money . 🤛

Bushka, I’d like to know what is your highest deflected damage amount? Last week I played Jageroo and was under the bridges in the centre of Canal in the dip facing off 5, 2 Waffles, a Grill, E100 and KpfPz 70 and I bounced 11,686 damage, killed an IS8 and the E100 Who was poorly placed on the bank so lower glacis was on offer. In total I was penned 8 times and deflected 27 eventually destroyed when the 70 went over the top and I turned around, I was taken out by the Grill from behind. I know it was the enemy’s fault for being incredibly stupid but as it’s never likely to happen again I wondered how much you had bounced in one battle to see if you’re impressed by either my resilience or the enemy team’s stupidity! Many thanks.
Idk with how frequently everythings updated, and with the difference in gameplay and interface after each update wargaming has good people busting asses to give us this kick ass game. This is what feeds their families so in return they wanna keep making money.

Honestly the christmas event was one of the more decent events WG has ever made. But on the other hand...welp...I couldnt even get a snow globe for stage seven let alone past stage six while doing everything i can to get clemetines. This event although the Pz5/4 which is a rlly good tank in my opinion...the event just lacked in everything...it wasnt easy...drop rates for snowflakes trash af...the end reward may have been good but i can wait for that to come out in the future...the chests youd get the snowflakes from increasing in price by a value of 20 each time made the event boring and not fun to play...the teams during the event were just mashed together, some matches Id do 4000 plus and my team not even do over 500, let alone kill a single friggin tank...the best and most rewarding part of the event was the f-ing side quest on the table-top map which made me want to play WoTB not for the pvp but for the table top game.
All-be-it...the event was a pointless waste of time to complete...i right now can buy 4 t8 prem tanks for 30$ instead of a 100$ and WG thought a single T10 Collector worth 500 in the event was a good idea...and the selling cost is cringey AF...not even 25$ in gold you get from selling it.
Not to mention this VK 90 is a tech tree tank which is directly related to the VK 45 02 B...the Vk 72 01 k is a nice tank but its not of tech tree standards and it doesn't match any of the other German heavies.
If a member of WG magically finds themselves reading my comment pls take this advice..."STOP MAKING TANKS COST MORE THAN THEIR WORTH, AND STOP MAKING EVENTS PAY TO WIN, YOU IF YOU INCREASED the amount of gold you get for 25$ from 8500 to like 12500 or 14500 and so on and forth for lower and higher value costs (though the old ones were atrocious and these new gold purchase values are much better) you would all get more retail...more people would spend money and get more progress...thus making them want to spend more for more progress cause they are getting more bang for their buck...many other gaming companies have already done this and it has become a shear fight to even get events done beyond the 5th stage without purchasing over 300$ in items from the store...or for the record...decrease the costs of other premium tech tree tanks/increase the gain in say credits and free exp gained from gold...from like 40 exp per 1 gold to 80 exp per 1 gold...something like this to make players more happy in the base and make it so that they want to spend and invest more time and money in something which in turn can reward them in ways more than that of right now.
I think I've made my stand-point on this quite clear

This consumable are wreaking the game: see the FV heavy that will get less HP because you can run certain consumables on it
This tank also has sandbag armor options. I run double sandbags on mine. Puts me at 2360hp
It’s called reticle calibration, decreases dispersion and aim time, I didn’t know this tank had the special consumables too... much better than I though

Not at all. I mean they are both German superheavies yes but the 72 has those huge weakspots you kind of have to bait. The 90 is a lot like the 45.02 b except it also has tremendous gun depression over the side.
My question is why aren't we boycotting wg right now for this shitty event like they did for the dam Puerto Rico on world of war ships
Got it for free from a snowglobe, and I can only say I am glad I didn’t spend a cent on it. Even for free it isn’t worth the cost.
Also I was in my maus and versed this thing and uh I didn't end so well for me because I couldn't pen it, it penetrated me all the time so I was fighting something that was whooping my but but now I think I can take it

Last christmas i bought T22 for 600€ on chistmas event. A half year later u get T22 in chest for 17€ (with luck) a friend got him 3 times in 5 chests , i wont invest my money on that crap VK , that i get this tank for 10€ …… not for 500€ this time. Also this event is bad , cause the battles are 80% unbalanced , always 7:0 or 0:7 . I don’t actually know what wargaming done on this update…

Yo i just bought a key and opened the box right now and i got it 😎
Too: the events are too heavy, if you dont want to pay 1 000 000 free exp or 100k gold you cant get the new vk (actually forgot the name...) and thats just frustrating because you see the videos from the dudes havin a "free" account (forgot that name too...) and you think: "Omg, i want that tank too, and then you go into the game and you see; "NOOO WHY IS IT SO HEAVY!!" and idk what to do so, yeah all cool with the event but, per 1 win only 1 clementine and you need i think all about 4k or something to get the vk and thats min. 3k battles in idk.. 2 weeks or so?! Thats just a real frustrating thing and it goes all along, last halloween, last cristmas, last easter, all the same system and only those which can get the tank are happy and like it but others like me loose their interestings in the game and in the end of the day, Wargaming Group is happy about the money which they get from the stupids which buy 20k gold for "nothing" (i think with 20k you could get some more than one german other tier Xes) and those which have the "free" account are happy too because they got every tank and those with little time and budget, NO CHANCE.

I just had a game fighting against VK. Bushka wtf who payed you to say that this tank is well balanced...?? Turret is impenetrable from the front. It's all red including cupola. And that 10 gun dipresion is so strong for that much armor. You are like a pet for WG.

Well I was the one who almost killed it. But it's all red on turret for normal pen despite having ceeks like Mouse. And I wonder why bushka only showed penable spots with gold and not with standard ammo.

@Бошњак you can pen mauses cheeks with every tier X gun. Its 240mm.
@Бошњак you know that cheeks are rounded? So theres always a spot that is pennable for 258mm pen guns. I think that most tier X or if not all tier X have that pen. But yeah with gold its easier if you dont want to aim. And for VK's cheeks its 305 mm and gold pen for haveys is 320mm. Gold struggles penning it. I dont even know why you are defending it. It has broken armor, gun is really good for havey and it has 10 degrees of gun dipresion if you know how to use it. Bushka is so afraid to say this is broken. It's always tank is really good. But saying for this that is well balanced? In what? Defending against gold?? So not even gold can oen it. This tank is a definition of idiot proof tank and its tier X. Man ...

I thought it is easy to get this tank before starting the even. Then I realize it is more harder than I think. I wasted 1,00,000 free XP to buy 2 XP crate and find nothing. I thought I will get at least 1 snowglobe. Even if I get a snowglobe I am sure I am not going to have that tank.
