- The VIOMI V3 V-RVCLM26B is the follow up of the VIOMI V2 & Mi Vacuum Mop P (STYJ02YM).
Xiaomi's ecosystem already l a lot to offer. The early Mi robot Vacuum, Several Roborock models like the S5, S5 Max, S6 Pure, T7 etc. While all are great Vacuums i personally like VIOMI's versions most!

Hello, in my experience, with the 2 in 1 tank, approx. 50m2 are cleaned.
With the water tank, approx. 100m2.
Thanks for this great video! Could you tell me, what will be the maximum distance between charge station and active robot position? If we have 2 floors, is it possible to adjust for per floor map easyly? (nearly 110+110 m2) Best regards.

An excellent demo of this new Viomi V3 capabilities. Hopefully its documentation (user manual, etc) and technical support - in English - will be much improved. I own the Viomi V2 Pro and bought it a month ago. It was a nightmare installing (pairing to router) and setting it up to run properly - particularly for first time robovac owners! Once properly setup, it worked well!
There was virtually no help from the Mi Community as well. And you can read about all the startup frustrations encountered by owners - and no help at all!
No help? Than I probably have overlooked it. What's the problem?
Did that worked? After 1 year I am in a same situation... my router has 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz, even I switched to 2.4ghz but the paring didn't go through... can you help me out pls

Great video, thank you! I have a problem with my water tank that leaks... I did not remove it after the cleaning and it emptied completely in the next hours! So, it is clearmy a problem if I fill it in the morning for a cleaning session in the afternoon :-( Do you have some info about this kind of probleme?

Hmm, yeah, I don't use that accessory much..haven't experienced it myself. But it seems it's because of the rubber that air pressure seals the watertank on top..have you try to make sure it's clean and closed well?
Whether you try with different water volume? I meet a similar with water too much.
Can we use pH water level that is lower than 7pH for the water tank? I have a Kangen Water Machine that can produce various level of pH water. I can use 2.5pH to kill germs/bacteria. Or I can add 8pH water for normal mopping.
It´s Possible to use Iphone APP?
Xiaomi Home (Mi home ) APP should be able to work with Apple...
Can you set 'No Mop Zones' for this vacuum and software ? I need that to ensure it doesn't go over rugs etc... Please answer ! Thanks..
Unfortunately, there isn't a special features to exclude zones for mopping only... You can set no go zones but that means for both vacuuming and/or mopping. It would be a great option if they feature this!

Which do you think is a better vacuum, Viomi V3 or the Roborock S5 Max?
Unfortunately, never tested the S5 Max.. So I can't judge..or give an opinion about it. Is good mopping important to you?
Yes, the mop is super important!
@@Sum1FisHi i allready watch and read numerous comparison between v3 and s5 max .. if you req mob very important, than you should go to v3 .. or at least v2 pro
because it can mob Y style, it is more cleaner than S style
Thanks for the review. I have a rug in the living room that is about 1/2 the room and large tile in the other half.
When the Viomi3 is in vacuum and mop mode, I want to mop and vacuum the tile floor, but only the rug. Can it do this automatically by sensing the rug and turning off the mop? Then when it goes back to the tile floor, it will do both mop and vacuum.
Hello, unfortunately it doesn't have a carpet sensor. You can set up areas manually but it is not possible to do mopping only and vacuum only in one take. You need to do it in two takes. 1 for just vacuuming all.. and 2. Create a no go zone to avoid the robot to go over the carpet.
Another possibility is to divide the room in two parts and set a schedule for both.
Is it possible to save maps of several floors? couldnt find it in the app.
Yeah, move the dock and robot to different floor and start full cleanup
Can we add some nice smelling essential oil to mix with the water tank? Or add insect repellent (active ingredients are citronella, pyrithroid, water) to the water in the water tank?
Or add some cleaning agent like this brand AVILL multi-purpose cleaning liquid with anti-bacteria feature? This AVILL Multi-purpose cleaning liquid can be used for normal mopping.
I won't recommend anything other than water. Best way is to spill a bit of solution on the mop cloth .

How do we know if the water tank is empty before mopping complete?
Unfortunately there is no water detection sensor on it..but this goes for all robotvacuums in Xiaomi's spectrum

Hello, there comes a disposable mop with it, I haven't seen these around yet, there are also washable mops included and these are similar to the V2 and are interchangeable:)

Hello. I have the robot and it mapped 3 rooms. All are different levels. When i move the vacuum to a different room it will not stop, but go on searching for the dock until battery dies. I have a roborock s1 and it searches for the dock for 10 seconds and announces that it cannot find the dock and stops... What is the problem with the Viomi I wonder.
Great video, please keep it up. Just one small doubt, can V3 select the correct wifi frequency from the router which has both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz?
My brand new Viomi V3 vacuum mop cleans beautifully and is able to find its way throughout the house to any room but once it has completed cleaning it will not return to the dock to charge. It just bumps into the corner until the battery is exhausted. Any idea why ?

nooo, new roborock has 6armed sidebrush and made from silicone, but v3 has 3armed and not silicone
R.main brush has removable part in 2 sides but v3's microfibercloth is bigger than roborock's
v3 has 2 sidebrush (spare parts)
hello I bought the viomi v3 and download the xiaomi home application but I can't synchronize my Internet box with the robot (step 3) I put the network in 2.4Ghz. can you help me ?
Hello, have you reset the robots WiFi connection? Holding both physical buttons? If yes, do you see the robot appear in the list of available wifi networks? If yes, then there's something going on with the router (settings) or Xiaomi app
Also make sure router is on WPA or Wpa2 and not on WEP.
Which region (country) is Xiaomi application set on?
@@XiaomiGadgetsGuide Hello, thank you for your answer. yes I reset the robot by pressing the 2 buttons and I see the robot in my wifi connections. the router is in WPA2-PSK. I configured the application on Chinese R.A.S of Hong Kong (I live in France). in the xiaomi home application my phone connects to the robot (step 1 and 2 validated) but i cant not reach step 3 (connection of the device to the network) it cannot connect.
after several researches and several attempts on the parameters of my router it is necessary to activate "ip full stack" in the internet account of the operator.

The V3 got no carpet detection.butbto me not necessary as I always use highest setting..the V3, it's the global version..that comes always in English:)

I reset the networks, physically pressing the 2 buttons on the viomi v3, and I can find the network when placing a manual search on my smartphone, but I cannot find the VIOMI V3 among the models available in the apk. The version of the Mi home app is 5.8.33. I checked that my network is at 2.4ghz. I don't know how to proceed ...

Even though it is a global version, honestly I don't know if Brazil is supported .The V3 icon is visible inside the mi home app in the list and you can't pair it? Or isn't the V3 available? If not.. I'll suggest to try different country like Germany and see if that makes any difference?
