- This is one of two stereo mixes done for "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones. The first being found on the common Hot Rocks CD. That mix was done in 1965.
This 1966 stereo mix has a very similar stereo soundscape to the previous mix since the song was originally recorded on three-track.
This 1966 mix has only been released on bootlegs, and has been remastered here. - Видеоклипы
Would love a 2024 remix of all of the Stones stuff from 1963 - 1967
Such a nice mix to appreciate Brian Jones' acoustic guitar work!
This isn't bad for a stereo mix from 1966, but the hard panning hasn't aged well 😅 It's not a comfortable listening experience, especially with headphones. But it's great for what it was!
Same old sound we liked in 60's. I ❤ it!! 😊😊
I have a CD called Stereo Stones that has this and a bunch of other true stereo versions.
I got it in roughly 2003/2004.
The original pressings of the Hot Rocks CDs were done in West Germany and Japan. I bought my copy in Boston in 1985 and it was the West German pressing and ICGNS was in stereo, but the packaging indicated mono. I was surprised when I first listened to it. Subsequent US pressings have this track in mono. A friend of mine bought the US version when it was available, and he was pissed because ICGNS was in mono.
On my little turntable in1966-67 I couldn't hear the rhythm guitar or the tambourine. Still sound Good
