Please can you give me any advise on this: i’ve tried and tried to hit the payment method and every time I chose any method optional, the page has failed. I’ve tried it on Safari and Chrome but it doesn’t work both ways. How to manage this? I have my flight for less than 2 weeks and I can’t manage to pay visa fee.

hi, I don't know whenever I try to apply it after the photo upload section I get a very zoomed-out photo with no other option to choose, and then the only option left is to reapply which is weird, I checked my image and it fulfills all the necessary requirements, do you know what problem there could be from my side?
You have to drag the arrow and select the entire photo. When entire photo is selected then click on crop.

Post submitting the application do we need to do anything else like visit BLS office and submit more documents? A bit confused about the process. I have created the application for my newborn and uploaded the photo and passport online and paid the 40USD.
This is a fully online process. You dnt need to send any documents to BLS. I did the same for my 6 months old baby and recieved e-Visa

My son has travelled previously to India in OCI but now his OCI card is not updated with new passport details . I believe you can say No, and proceed! Again this is a unique scenario and I am not an expert in this area! Good luck
Thanks for the video. It was really helpful. My Given name/First Name is BLANK on Canadian Passport whereas it is mandatory in eVisa application. Do I need to put my Last name under Given name (as it used to be on Indian Passport) or fill something like FNU (first name unknown) etc?
I think you name should be exactly same as passport
I checked with eVisa helpline and they said I can put my family/last name (on Canadian passport) in Given name on the eVisa application. There shouldn't be any difference in spelling.

If you put 'yes' they are asking for visa details when you visited but when I last visited india i had indian passport so there was no visa applicable, correct?. So what should we do? Should we select 'no' for this answer ..please advise

I believe 180 days as it’s written on my last year visa. You will also find it mentioned on your visa once you receive it, hope that helps

Yes I applied for OCI as well, you dnt need to send originals. All the signed copies should be sufficient.

This is entirely online process with min documentation. This e- tourist Visa. For babies max I think is 5 years
Also very fast process, I received Visa for my baby in 1 day

Its is not compulsary, they will not ask for it

You do not need surrender certificate for e-visa

No sticker just a letter. You can download it from eVisa website using your application number.

I put NA and received e-Visa without any problem. I dnt think they will accept iphone photo I got it from a photographer. Regarding fees I think they wanted a standard fees so USD. Max 54 CAD when converted

From what I know your eVisa is multiple entry that means you can exit and re-enter India. Also if you do not have a reference you can provide your tour guide/ Hotel Manager, etc info it should work.

1. How long we can stay in India on this visa?
2. We are planning to travel to India in last week of march and we had the less time to apply for OCI. Can we apply both like OCI and E visa on same time and use the OCI Later ? and in how many days you received the OCI for your baby ?
1 - for one visit you can stay upto 6 months
2- You can apply for both but OCI is taking time so you may not receive it before your travel dates. You need to make sure someone is available to recieve oCI booklet at your address when you are in India. For my baby I applied OCI around Dec 20, we haven’t received OCI yet still under processing 😅
I am in India right now and did not face any trouble travelling with e-Visa and Canadian passport .

I filled out my visa application and failed to get the application ID and the website messed up and kicked me off. When I click to start over it just asks for the application ID that I don’t have. What do I do?

If you use SBI portal it should give you option to use your Visa card!

Moreover you mentioned in video that we can download our application after we do payment but I never found such an option or neither I received any email about my submission of application.

I recently got Canadian Passport and Now I am applying for E-Visa, Have below 2 queries.
1) In Section "Countries Visited in Last 10 years" -- In last 10 years I Visited USA and India on Indian Passport, what should i mention both ? Not visited anyware on Canadian Passport yet.
2) My travel date is Mid of March what if i apply E-Visa today and suppose will get Visa tomorrow, In that case My 1 year Visa duration will be start from tomorrow till next 365 days ?
Or we have to show that in India airport and from that day only visa Duration (365 Days) will start ?

1. Don’t add India if you visited on Indian passport.
2. You e-visa is valid for 1 year from the day of approval. So from Feb 10 2024 to Feb 10 2025
