We've been lucky enough to meet a number of our horror/sci-fi favorites over the years and the four of us agree that meeting Catherine and Kelli at the same time was surely the high point!
OMG! I watched this movie a million times as a teen in the 80's, I wanted Catherine's hairstyle so much. Loved this movie, just watched it a few days ago. Still love it
I didn't grow up in your generation. I was born 1991 so I'm a 90's kid. But Night of the Comet was one of my fav 80's movie and meeting the stars like 30 years later is sooo awesome. Your so lucky guys
I met them at Monsterpalooza last weekend in Pasadena, an experience i'll cherish forever, two sweet, big-hearted ladies that were so much fun, Kelli is now my Facebook friend i'm proud to say!.
First, I was 16 when I saw this - I liked it fine but over the years, I just fell head over heels in love with it. I adored CMS in Days of Our Lives and all of the movies she's been in, but she is such a sweetheart - so kind and gracious and wonderful. It hit a chord when she asked where to sign, giving the people the option and care (I say that because one time I went to a signing of Davy Jones and I had a lot of stuff but I asked him to sign a plaque I had bought of Monkees stills; I asked him to sign on the back because I wanted the picture to remain pristine, and he got pretty angry; still bothers me 30 years later). I adore that sweet Kelli too - she just seems like a carefree spirit, so kind and generous at heart - that comes through in all her performances in her movies. Thank you for this! So lucky to go to something like this!
Wow you just don’t know I’ve seen night of the comet so many times and it’s one of my favorite movies. So underrated and smart writing. Seeing this is awesome!
I would certainly enjoy seeing them again and there is just something silly and entertaining about "NOTC" that makes it fun to see, over and over. It's a harmless addiction for many of us, I guess.
The way she chews gum looks just like it did in 1984! Her voice and her laugh too! I love when she recalled the 555 telephone number and said the line. Sounded just like the movie.
Catherine and Kelly represent what is now a timeless, great cult classic. "Night of the Comet" isn't just a great science fiction/horror film. The soundtrack is fabulous and one of the most unforgettable of all. Chris Farren's "Learn to Love Again", featured in the film, is one the greatest rock-love ballads of all time. Many of the songs from the film generate warmth and inspiration as few songs ever have. Much love to Catherine and Kelly.
David Saks I’m so glad to know that someone else appreciates the excellent soundtrack used in the movie and especially Chris Farren and Amy Holland’s Learn To Love Again!
Catherine Mary Stewart is still as beautiful as she was back in my day. why not! she can afford it. All kidding aside she's good natured; I had the chance to meet her when I was in California, on tour in America. I'm happy you shared this with us. New Zealand loves you MohawkChieftain.
I can't possibly tell you how delightful this video is for me. If I met RDJ, CE, CH, SJ, JR & MR, all at the same time, I might be cool. But I know that standing in front of these two ladies would turn me into a stammering teary-eyed starstruck mess.
Great job keeping your composure! If I could even stay conscious, I would’ve totally embarrassed myself after seeing them together! How surreal that must have been!
A poster below opined that Catherine gets more attention, but Kelli got the best line in the movie (and better than most lines in most movies of the era) - "Daddy woulda got us Uzis!"; My D&D group used that for years when I didn't hand out the Big F-in' Swords like Trick or Treat candy. LOL Good times!
The MAC-10s were jamming while filming pissing off the Writer/Director and actresses. He got so frustrated the three of them came up with that dialog if it should jam again. "The car didn't notice the difference"
Catherine Mary Stewart had a small part in 2007’s The Girl Next Door. A really good movie that’s very hard to watch. I always liked Night Of The Comet. I
This movie totaly grows on you. One of my favorite B movies of the 80's, along with Night of the creeps. Sorry Chopping Mall, you just don't quite cut it. :P
great movie, love these girls. funny side note, Steve Lebeau, the phantom dj we hear but never see, introduced the robo-jock even before the revelation of the Prophet system in 2000 or so. most of the voices you hear late night at not "live" show is pre-recorded in twenty minutes, tracks and commercials added, a few jingles for flavor the audience can't tell the difference
Catherine made 2 cult movies that I can watch over and over again: the first, of course, is this one, Comet, however, the other is a more rare species: WORLD GONE WILD.....where the rest of the cast is priceless, especially, Bruce Dern......
It's funny, but I don't think Cathy or Kelli know about this video, because they talk about this booklet and other things from this video on the Blu-ray special edition DVD.

One of the most fun movies of the 80's!
Long live the 80s !
Still love it
I had the little ankle boots like she had in the movie!
This is one of my fav movies from the 80’s. These two look exactly the same. They are hilarious.
That was so nice of them to recite lines from the movie. They still look great.
I'm glad you like it. They're really extremely nice and still lovely. It was a really memorable experience.

They've hardly aged at all! Still hot ladies!
It was interesting to see how good they still looked; a real pleasure meeting them.
True statement here !
I met them at Monsterpalooza last weekend in Pasadena, an experience i'll cherish forever, two sweet, big-hearted ladies that were so much fun, Kelli is now my Facebook friend i'm proud to say!.
+Tommy Kovac They are definitely two personable, lovely and fun ladies to be with....
Let Shannon know I apologize for whatever offended her that I posted on Facebook, I care about her and wish only good things!
*I know Catherine gets more attention but Kelli's cute quirky persona was the main reason I love this underrated gem of a movie.*
I liked both of these actresses in the movie and I am happy to see them still friends after all these years.
It’s so good to see them together again! This movie was my first introduction to what my dad considered to be “B-movies.” But me? I gave it an A++!
At the start when Kelli looks over and smiles while chewing gum.. Took me back to the mid 80's.. Looked just like her in the movies..
I only just watched this movie for the first time last week. All because of Catherine Mary Stewart.
That's awesome! Night of the Comet is such a classic from the 80's!
one of my favorite movies. the girls look great. i think they are 49 and 50 now. thanks for posting this video.
The 'burden of civilization is on them...!'
Catherine Mary Stewart looks freaking amazing then and now :)
Yes I love this actress.
Absolutely love this movie !!!
Catherine is still gorgeous and seems to a great connection with her fans. She's ready for a Last Starfighter sequel! Ha
You read my mind here !
Omg. I would've loved to see and meet them! Thanks for sharing this. This rocks.
These ladies still look beautiful even at their age.

Love these ladies... so cool to seem them again and they look great!
I'm glad you liked it. Both young women were extremely nice and very pleasant to speak with.
Kelli is beautiful......she made that movie for me!
True dat! She nailed that quirky cute persona !
Love this movie, great video of the 2 stars
80´s FOREVER!!
Wow you just don’t know I’ve seen night of the comet so many times and it’s one of my favorite movies. So underrated and smart writing. Seeing this is awesome!
I literally just watched the retrospective where CMS talks about this EXACT meeting! Amazing!!! ♥️
One of my favorite moments in life.
OMGoooood! I looove thiz movie since a kid... I still have the VHS Tape and Movie soundtrack
One of my Fav. Movies from the 80's! I also loved Sole Survivor from the same director.
I would certainly enjoy seeing them again and there is just something silly and entertaining about "NOTC" that makes it fun to see, over and over. It's a harmless addiction for many of us, I guess.
They're awesome.
They are that! Two of the nicest persons I've ever met.
That would have been an enviable experience. I know that our meeting the two of those girls was one heckuva lot of fun! Love them both!
My favorite movie! Thanks.
Thank You Mister Mohawk Chieftain for Posting This Awesome Night of The Comet, Convention Video, Two Big Thumbs Up!😎
She's still chewing gum!
Yep.
The way she chews gum looks just like it did in 1984! Her voice and her laugh too! I love when she recalled the 555 telephone number and said the line. Sounded just like the movie.
@@damianstarks3338 It's the same piece she's been chewing since the 80s
† Кристиан † 😂🤣 damn that’s some awesome gum !
Boing!!!
LOL. I just watched an interview with the two of them and Catherine mentioned the little book. Then, auto-play sent me here. That's awesome!
This is soooo cool, my compliments to you on posting this -- I have yet to meet either but would sure love to -- Thanks --
They are both still gorgeous wow...
We were just happy to let them say anything at all. Never even thought of that....
Wow, they both look so beautiful after all these yrs. I still have a crush on Catherine the (Mega Babe)
I commented something similar to what you said and I 100 percent agree on the last part of your comment about Catherine.
When they had the celebrity party I got a picture with both of them.
so Awesome... I dvr'd the movie on MGM-HD and it looks great. So cool to see Kelli and Catherine together again!
I Will Always Love You, Lady Catherine Mary Stewart, and I Will Always Love You,Little Lady, Kelli Maroney!

Believe me, the pleasure was all mine! I'm glad when it makes someone else happy.
So Cool..... wish I could meet them

You folks from "Down Under" deserve to share. Glad you got a chance to see the video.
That's cool I would have had them said "like I can watch the comet where ever I want to watch the comet.
My family is glad you did.
Their banter. Just like sisters in the movie. They seem so fun and happy together.
I can't possibly tell you how delightful this video is for me. If I met RDJ, CE, CH, SJ, JR & MR, all at the same time, I might be cool. But I know that standing in front of these two ladies would turn me into a stammering teary-eyed starstruck mess.
gspendlove
I thought the same thing. I doubt I’d’ve believed it was actually really happening!
Mary's voice hasn't changed.
Great job keeping your composure! If I could even stay conscious, I would’ve totally embarrassed myself after seeing them together! How surreal that must have been!
Same personas as in the movie, just looking their age. Great to see the two girls together again.
..." The Legal Drinking Age is Now 10! But you Will Need ID....Lets Be Real" ...😂😂😂😂😂
Huge fan of this movie 😊
I met them both on Saturday. They both signed my DVD.

Still a pair of beauties :). God bless 'em :)
Happy to share.
I just want people to share in some of the fun. It was great!
I love NOTC ❤️
She is a beautiful woman and Kelli is, as well.
I grew up in the 80s, I had the hots for Kelli back then 😍
This movie totaly grows on you. One of my favorite B movies of the 80's, along with Night of the creeps. Sorry Chopping Mall, you just don't quite cut it. :P
Yeah man so cool 😊
A great fun movie that hints at some dark truths.
Totally AWESOME!
Awesome 😎
we do not cross against the light
I've owned this on vhs DVD and digital every copy stolen lol my local video and gaming store is ordered me a new one
I was so in love with Catherine Mary Stewart since the 80s lol my wife thought it was always so cute.
a radio drama version would be great
Anybody notice how the blonde woman is still chewing gum, just like she did in the film lol! They both look great :)
Catherine is even more beautiful now
It was a high point in my life.
Auntie Samantha and Auntie Regina
I've never seen the Blu-ray edition, so I can't say for sure, but if they talk about the booklet, doesn't that hint that they know about it?
It's okay. I had enough fun for several of us.
They're are really cool chicks
my favorite horror movie :)
eeeepppiiiicccc

Super duper groovy yeah yippee alright superstars ✨

It was better to have been a teenager in the 60s, I swear.
uh...fine, but they would have been pre adolescent then.
They should remake this one
Maybe a part 2 with original cast, but a remake with new cast wouldn't do this justice.
Un believable
I'm sure some people appreciate your 'news'. I already knew that.
It's funny, but I don't think Cathy or Kelli know about this video, because they talk about this booklet and other things from this video on the Blu-ray special edition DVD.
