In that episode all the Arkham Asylum patients have been lobotomized by Superman. However the patients were still showing signs of resistance so to speak. For example Ivy's hostility towards Flash for picking the rose with the clippers in her hand. Her cutting the roses was always her own contradiction because how else is she going to poison people if she didn't. If I remember correctly Joker was still causing trouble even after being lobotomized. A lesser degree of trouble, but trouble nonetheless.
There's a specific way to cut flowers, picking them off with a pull is the wrong way:)
I believe cutting the roses helps keep the plant strong and get rid of the sick roses

It’s interesting how much ivy has changed in 20 years in both media and comics in regard to appearance and powers. Sometimes she’s a fallen scientist who while still mostly human has some connection to plants. Other times she appears half plant and has the powers of an earth elemental.
And oddly despite such a huge shift in style and power I rarely ever hear complaints about change with her
The only complaints i have is when they nerf her and she gets little screen time getting k.o.ed by single blows

Poison Ivy is usually portrayed over-sexified, but in DC Super Hero Girls, she's a super sweet girl next door wholesome type. Weird.

Not a fan of that version but the new DC Superhero Girls show has one of my favorite versions of Ivy.

I don't like how in most of the newer, 'kid friendly' versions they took away her green skin. That was one of her k e y features. (Minus the Gotham by Gaslight one-)
I think her original design in Batman: The Animated Series was her best. The green skin is just extremely odd.

I always felt like Ivy never found the perfect actress for her voice until I saw Batman and Harley Quinn. I like the one from the Arkham series games too but Batman and Harley Quinn I think is the best so far. Not only that Harley Quinn's voice actress is good too. I think she would be like one of the top three, right next to tara strong and Arleen (the original Harley)
I dunno, Diane Pershing was a pretty good voice for ivy in my opinion.
I love Diane Pershing and Tasia Valensa's take on Ivy. Vanessa Marshall was convincing when she said "My babies". Sounded similar to Diane's version.
Natasha Leggero sounded best in the Scooby Doo appearance.

Batman: The Animated Series is EASILY the best and definitive take on the character. Nails everything important; her more heroic and idealistic qualities that other incarnations forgot, her intelligence, her tragedy, her moral nuance, her strength, her strategic side...Absolutely WONDERFUL job, Diane Pershing's voice acting performance is one of the all-time greats for a comic book character. The Batman, DC Superhero Girls and Gotham 2016's incarnations are all excellent and underrated though.
Justice League: Action and Batman & Harley Quinn are by far the worst. They're both strawman of the ecofeminist ideals she's supposed to represent written as if they were interpreted by a climate change denying MRA. And the voice acting for the former is HORRENDOUS.

My favorite Poison Ivy adaption is The Batman 2004. I love the idea that she was Barbra Gordon’s friend and gymnastics partner (which adds a stronger connection with her and Batman). Not to mention, Poison Ivy being a teenager adds more diversity to a seemingly all adult group of villains

In Ivy's case, literally 19 fucking years ago in Batman: Shadow of the Bat #88. Rucka's take on her in No Man's Land is what started her transition from anti-villain to anti-hero to the full on hero she's been in Rebirth since her mini Cycle of Life & Death back in 2015.

I think DC Super Hero Girls have their own continuity, besides, that's one of the few ways to hear the original Teen Titans cast outside GO
Fun fact I acknowledge no one cares about; Harley and Ivy are together in several of the comics, as they both become morally gray good guys. Basically Poison Ivy is a plant-loving lesbian with a whacky girlfriend and it's really improved her life. There's a funny amount of correlation though, in their friendship and if they're bad guys or good(ish) guys. It's kinda cute tbh
Ivy's had romantic feelings for Swamp Thing and Darshan Bapna, so more bisexual or pan than lesbian.

My favorite designs of her, in no particular order, are:
-The New Adventures of Batman (Quintessential look, but more seductive than the previous one and with a more appealing artstyle in my opinion)
-Batman: The Brave and the Bold (Maybe tweak the hairstyle, but she should try out flowers in her costume more often)
-Justice League Action (Love the leaf hat)
-Gotham by Gaslight (Not that great, but it makes me interested to see if sheer cloth could be used to good effect on another costume)

You don’t need to worry about Shaggy and Scooby. It cost nearly all of Harley’s power to pull that hammer out of nowhere, and Shaggy was only surprised at her willingness to fight him. After that though, it only took 1% of his power to beat them both, AND keep all of his food together.
6:32 all those problems were pretty much caused by her bringing plant life to well life, so it isn't really fair to have her be hero of the month if she caused the problems.

Honestly, the Justice League Action shorts are my favorite design for her. It took me awhile long time ago to figure out why and it's because of the leaf hat. I thought it was a beret at first so it looked nice, but it being a leaf version made it fit with the character a lot.
