- Спорт
Even Ricky can’t say that Usyk clearly won and uses the “open to interpretation” as to appease the Fury Family who like any tyrannical regime will not tolerate any criticism.
No thats YOUR interpretation.
Ricky said the best man won.
I spoke to Ricky in Plymouth last month, and he told me he thought Usyk had a good chance of beating Fury.
I scored the fight as Usyk wins by a single point. With the 9th round being the deciding factor.
So if a judge had it for fury by a point then it was open to interpretation.
There are fury haters that think
Fury was obliterated and got destroyed. That’s clearly not the case
Maybe thats his opinion?
Well said ..
Did u watch video?he said usyk won
@@hotrodd29yeah whatever, you keep telling yourself that fella🙄
Tyson…coulda, woulda, shoulda… but couldnt..Usyk didnt let him.
Uysk absolutely dominated💯 that fight he hunted fury down like a possessed physio and battered him back into last year....Happy new year 🤣🤣🤣🤣👊
@@jujitsusti7719 stick to Jujitsu because you cant score a fight, he dominated the 9th round and aside from the 10-8 it was competitive.
@@aeonparker-white9306 lol your funny did you watch what I watched and I've done both for years thanks you best stick to golf😉
@@jujitsusti7719 boxed for years and know how to score a fight, anyone who thinks Usyk dominated does not know how to score a fight.
Great win but hard fought, close and competitive.
@@aeonparker-white9306 ok mate everyone is entitled to their own opinions lol and if a Rematch does happen I'd bet my house on Usyky again 💯😉👊
The ref saved Fury
No he didn't, Fury lost
@@DAVEEPAUL Yes he did, ref saved Fury from a TKO. Usyk was one punch away from putting him to sleep but the ref held him back
@@AZBCDE
You must not watch a lot of boxing,
A standing 8 after the ropes hold you up is standard practice.
Fury lost, move on
@@AZBCDE Well if he was putting him to sleep, as you say, then that wouldn't be a Technical Knockout, would it?? That would be a Knockout.. So, you clearly don't know what you are talking about
What are you lot on about? The ropes kept him up so its classed as a knockdown and a count is given
Ricky is a class act talks sense and is honest but is respectful doing it
And a great boxer in his own division!
It's fine if Tyson doesn't want to rematch Usyk cos they won't pay him enough. We've seen Usyk is the best in the devision now. I'd rather see Fury vs AJ now for battle of Britain finally
Yes Usyk should demand 70-30
Fury will get biggest purse in rematch, that’s already in contract.
Do you guys know what day it is?
Happy new year!!
@@gentlemanjim480 Fury said that in reference to Usyk saying he’d missed children’s birthdays and also missed “Happy new Year”
Look Fury lost clear as day get over it.
Not that clear mate
@@jh6273Stats!
Fury landed 135 punches
USYK landed 185 punches!
Power punches- Fury 21..USYK-53
The Referee stopped a clear knockout!!…or Knockdown if you live in cuckoo land.
Ohh I’m a proud British bloke by the way,but know what I’m watching and the stats don’t lie!
Do you want to give your interpretation of it??
I’m not saying Fury didn’t have his moments..but there’s one clear winner!
Oohh and the judge who gave him his decision was a WBC judge!..The FURYs are known to have them in their back pocket.
Fury was robbed..one good round doesn't win you a fight..Fury landed more punches..Usyk only won 3 rounds.. total robbery
@@RobAtkinson-wj4rc Rob I am sure you follow boxing but it wasnt the beat down many say . I can accept usyk winning by one rd excluding 10 8 round but i can also see how one judge had it for fury as judging is subjective. All said we will see it again
Also British (English in fact) am in total agreement , clear win for Usyk@@RobAtkinson-wj4rc
There’s a lot of post fight advice as to what Fury should have done, but it doesn’t take account of how Usyk would have reacted. Ricky has a wealth of experience but if Fury had got on the front foot and committed himself with more power shots early on, he would likely have got punished on the counter. I think Fury had good reason to be cautious early on.
Exactly. This is why Joshua tried to box Usyk. Joshua was scared of being countered into oblivion. Ruiz countered him in their 1st fight and we all know what happened there. If Ruiz could do it, Usyk certainly could. People say Joshua should go in all guns blazing against Usyk if there's a 3rd fight, but it's a massive risk. It might work out, but he could get knocked our fairly quickly. Joshua doesn't have the chin to do that and neither does Fury.
Fury had the right strategy against Usyk using his reach and the uppercut. He's just under 6ft 8 and has an 85 inch reach so it makes sense to utilise these significant physical advantages. Fury just got tired and got caught. It was a very close fight apart from the 9th. One of course could argue that the fight should have been stopped in the 9th but it wasn't and so I thought Usyk won by 1 point on the scorecards.
I think Usyk will win the 2nd fight, but it's entirely possible that Fury pulls it out of the bag and sets up a 3rd encounter.
Fury should have taken this fight more seriously as he did with Wilder the wilder ones were fighting this one was boxing, and the next one, going to be a fight, did you see any rage on Fury's face? I didn't, but I saw it in Wilder's fight. Fury's mistake is he thought Usyk didn't have the power to hurt him,
Asked the right questions and Ricky spoke the truth subbed
Yes, nice that the interviewer lets Hatton answer.
Brilliant interview with Ricky. Looking forward to seeing this podcast. He's so humble and genuine how can you not like Ricky. Respect guy's 🥊
It's a shame the bloody ref stopped usyk from sending fury to Mars ffs
After seeing full video I have so much respect for Ricky Hatton

I Know Ricky is a friend of Fury and i admire that he acknowledge that USYK won. Top man
The ref clearly stopped Usyk from delivering what would probably have been the last 1 or 2 punches in the fight.Fury was out on his feet.
I totally agree with Ricky Hatton, John Fury in his sons corner giving advise to head butt Usak was not the ideal advise.
Considering he is a pal of Fury he gave a very honest account of the fight ...was interesting when he said he was surprised at Usyks power ...I think Fury was also
Ricky the legend...!!!... Great boxer... Honest and fair, decent fella!!
Give that man a tissue

Great advice by Hatton to Fury for hitting harder instead of flicking out punches,he was hating those body punches. One ferocious one would have stopped him in his tracks.
No chance
Would of should of, didn't.. suck it up buttercup usyk handing out mental health advice leaflets at the end of every fight from now on lol
nice interview ricky, always a top guy
I’m just glad “usage” got the decision 😂
Hes a good fighter that Usage. Related to sausage

Quickest sub ever, no butting in, Great questions = Quality 🥊🥊 love Ricky the good freind everyone would like to have .
Thanks for subbing 🥊
COULD HAVE DONE WITH RICKY IN HIS CORNER
To help pull his gloves up?
This was tough for Ricky, nonetheless much respect for being honest.
Ricky and Tyson had similar round in there career. Absolutely love Ricky
We'l get message to him that you LOVE him 🙄
Spot on Ricky .
It was close for sure but Usyk did enough to win. 114-113 for Usyk. I gave Fury rounds 3,4,5,6,7,12. The rest were clean Usyk rounds.
I agree with that score. I still like fury much better though
Yeah the knockdown clinched it and made it a clear win to Usyk
YOU HAVE TO LOVE RICKY
Tyson still has to prove whether he can beat AJ, ruiz, parker
Too many chefs. Big John rates no trainers and thinks he knows better. Either let big John run the show or get him away from the camp. Tyson needed to go in heavy and face him down, instead of running away.
Are you on drugs? John Fury is Tyson's biggest liability. And you think he should be allowed to run the show? Going in heavy doesn't work on Usyk, he just keeps picking you off. It's impossible for Fury to get a win if he adopted the same style he did for Wilder. Usyk would love it.
Do you understand fighting off the back foot to be 'running away'?
@@chrishoward3391 yes, letting a "pumped up cruiser weight" hunt you down.
@johnwood
Excellent idea let john run things, please o please 😂
Fury’s stamina is not what is was. If he has been the aggressor we know how skilful and elusive Usyk is. If he has not caught up with him and finished him within 5 rounds he would have run out of gas I think then Usyk would have possibly went on the attack we know that Usyk can do this for 12 rounds but can Fury?
Best commentary
Exactly what I've expressed rick
Ricky made a good point there, when he said that maybe Fury should have planted his feet more. But what’s done is done
I thought he should have made usyk s body the number 1 priority, when he did go there, usyk was clearly uncomfortable and it was all a bit brief, then returned to show boating
@@camwells9726 Fury started showboating in the first round. Then, after he lost the first three rounds, he stepped it up, stopped showboating and threw the body shots in, which Usyk soaked up no problem.
It was the uppercuts that were causing the damage.
Fury won rounds 4, 5 and 6, and it was in the 6th round that he really hurt Usyk with an uppercut.
But at the start of the 7th round, Fury was leggy and Usyk increased the pace and then went on to win the fight.
If Fury planted his feet a bit more, it may have had more of an effect, but would he have won? No.
I don’t think he’ll win the rematch either
@@CymruCelt01 usyk has an incredible engine , not sure anyone can beat him on points
@@camwells9726 yeah, you’re right. It’s almost a shame there is a rematch clause. But I’m confident Usyk will win.
@@CymruCelt01 I’m a pure neutral from nz , I don’t feel any loyalty to any of them unlike uk fans ,
I went into this fight thinking 60-40 usyk s way and now I’m probably 70-30 ,
But you know how upsets can happen, particularly in the heavyweight division , one shot can change things so never write him off completely
Well spoken Ricky Hatton
Ricky honest spoken like a true gentleman, 🥊
Nice to see Ricky Hatton!! Topman!
I'd like to see fury have a spell with Ricky
Why? Usyk doesn’t change trainers. Fury and AJ change trainers like underwear as if they will somehow magically be transformed. The trainers don’t get in the ring.

Extreme martial artist combat master OLISA ERIC OSSAI predicted it spot on that Usyk would win..
“Happy New Year”
Well said Ricky I know your friends with Tyson and I like him but the best man won much respect x
1 Ricky Hatton legend
It was the best fight i have ever seen
Having John Fury as a trainer is like having Mike Bassett as England manager but without the patter
Sorry that Tyson lost but it is what it is.Really surprised that Sugar Hill was not running the entire camp.Would love to see a rematch but only if Tyson fully commits to it and sorts his camp out - Usyk set a high workrate and Tyson needs to be fully fit and focused.Great fight and it was close.Fair play to Usyk.
Jeff Mayweather & Hatton both say that Tyson should have moved less and used his power punches and weight against Uysk, instead Tyson made the same mistake as Joshua which was to try to out box a better boxer.
Yes, good tactics, if Usyk were to stand still with gloves down
Hatton is spot on!
Id like to ask ricky and everyone after me watching lenix lewis for years when lewis throu a jab it was solid one .so people if both fighters one put out 30 solid hard jabs and other does 30 flick jabs who would you give the points to
THERE'S ONLY OOOOOOOOOOONE RICKY HATTON
Ricky “Yoosich” Hatton
I find it hilarious when people add an S to the end of a person's second name. There is absolutely no reason he should think the name is Usyks 😂 it's like he is trolling. I noticed a lot of people say Eubanks. Maybe it's a K thing 😂🤷
I was expecting a lot more aggression and assertiveness from Fury - and I was wanting it, hoping to watch it.
Great interview. Usyk Fury 2 for WBA, WBC and WBO... AJ fights winner of Hrgovic vs Dubious for IBF belt so... in March 2025 we could see all 4 belts on the line again. Fury or Usyk vs AJ
Best man won simple as and he and his team acted as true professionals throughout unlike the display by others showboating don't get you anywhere they will learn eventually
Is this man sober! He's here to promote his fighters, that's all folks
RH had a hard time giving it to Usyk in this interview, he was struggling to give an impartial opinion on it due to his friendship with Fury.
All the post fight analyses I've watched matched what I saw live..Usyk won comfortably, it should not have been a split decision and probably should have been stopped.
AJ the easier option for Fury. Easier to hit someone who doesn’t move.
I thought the same during the fight. 6’9” and 20st and throwing these flicks. Starting a punch from down below the waist gave Usyk way too long to see them coming and move. Should have got his hands up and thrown straight hard punches.
You see this man in the in the pub and watch yourself.
I've always like both fighters ...loved when fury cameback and dethroned wilder...and loved it when usyk dethroned joshua...so my honest opinion was usyk is alot better boxer than fury but fury had the size advantage and if fury couldn't tire usyk out using his size he would get outboxed...thats exactly what happens once usyk figured out how to avoid the uppercut and around the jab he pulled away from fury especially having that huge round in the 9th...the right man won that fight...great fight 1-3 usyk,4-7 tyson and then 8 started to sway toward usyk and 9-12 usyk so great fight..both guys fought there asses off
Is Usage related to Sausage?
Fury too often admired his shots. He needs to capitalise on them more. He needs to throw more shots overall early on. He can afford to since he’s got great stamina, better than the likes of AJ. So the fear of gassing out is very low. He needs to put a dent in him, to the extent where he can’t fight back as such.
What are you talking about? He was completely out of gas after 6.
Ricky should train fury for the rematch because he is spot on
It's done. Usyk beat Fury. There'll always be deniers and brand-bias perceptions, they "Go with the Show". Good on Ricky for a calm analytical breakdown....Next!
He’s good mates with Fury so he is bound to say open to interpretation, if you score the fight round by round Usyk won 7 (including 10/8 round) to Fury 5 , that is giving fury 100% benefit of the doubt in swing rounds.
Alexander Uswitch

@@BoxingNowChannel that's the go ...I loved that hat ...
Fury did not outbox Usyk early on. He was sticking his arm out which is technically illegal, but either way it certainly isnt a jab or anything with any purpose that you give him rounds for. The clean work was coming from Usyk, The first 2 rounds were certainly Usyk's. 3rd is debatable. Fury then took the next 3 rounds. Fairly even halfway through. Usyk I thought won 7th but very close. Usyk then took over from 8th onwards and got knockdown.
Fury had a really good few rounds up to end of 6th. It was a clear victory for Usyk. Fury did very well though to get close, but not close enough.
An aj an fury will be great aj v usek 3 also great
Usyk im half way through a twelve hour shift can i have a booster from your expert team
Very hard to change style when the bell rings. Fury didn’t seem to have the killer instinct. Keep saying as it is Ricky, True Brit.
Still sniffing..🤧
What john fury trained Tyson for the fight. Surely that can't be true.
Youd think if anyone would have insider knowledge its ricky...wouldnt suprise me
@@davehoward22 If that's the case it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. How would he benefit from having an unqualified trainer preparing you.
yep,his old mans allways sticking his nose in..Wouldnt be suprised if sugar goes
John is 145-0 never been beaten by man or wildebeest.
The perfect trainer.
Yes john trained him and did a amazing job lets be real here it was a very close fight and fury looked great there was only 13 punches in it between them so john myst of done a great job in his camp
I love the way he calls him Usyks lol
Ricky's a great guy and has a record to be proud of. That said, we live in an era where we're somehow obligated to praise people for acknowledging that which can not be denied.
Ricky is clearly torn and struggling to give an objective view of Tyson's performance in this fight. Tyson was clearly outsmarted by Usyk. Usyk forced Tyson from the first round and even when Tyson was coring well, which he did, it was largely because Usyk was controlling the action and forcing Tyson the fight. Usyk was the ring general.
7-5 Usyk is closest Fury came in this match.
This interview is the proof that no mater how many times you say “to be honest wiv you” you might still be dishonest. Or you did not see the fight. Hatton is just a friend of Tyson’s corner.. full stop
It wasnt looking too good for Usyk until 9th round.
I gave Usyk 1,2, and 8 (lot of viewers did). Makes it 5 - 3 going into 9.
Until the 7th round.
It was 4-4 after 8...even...then Usyk won last four rounds for 8-4 scorecard...
Fury went rapidly downhill after the broken nose
he only looked good in the 9th, fury was hard done by.
Have noted that there are so many fury Fans who still find it had to accept this loss. Usyk fought a big powerful AJ twice and DD...Fury fought Nganou from MMA...Who was better prepared?
Top lad Ricky still nailed down to earth.
Middleweight as well😂😂😂
Hes right about the wilder trilogy taking alot of miles off Fury
I was expecting Fury to be a lot more aggressive.
I was also wanting to watch it, and hoping to see it happen.
It would have been (for me at least) a much more interesting fight to watch (except for the end of round 9, which was hard to beat).
I'd like to see those two guys really go at it. More like this:

Neither fighter was convinced they hsd won.. there wss no jumping on the ropes with hands in the air..
They both knew it was a close fight.
I allways wonder - how far did rick go that never fell for the allures of a full english a good weekend out every weekend and not having to cut so much so quick - did he loose to floyd or did a body shot take floyds opportunity to bounce his head - i recon hed of been undisputed if hed stayed fit and stayed focused - fury was outboxed but can come back and win he knows that now he needs to get lean and strong he could be such a strong guy tyson if he trained for that
Ricky says Usage instead of Usyk 😂
I hope Tyson fury and Usyk have a rematch im sure Tyson Fury will be victorious he knows what went wrong and knows how to beat him and finish his career on a high note he deserves it, then one win each say's everything about both boxers 😉
"The eye of the Tiger" is a very old boxing saying!!! But in the Tyson Fury case it has never been truer!!! Tyson Fury had the "eye of the tiger " for 1, 2 & 3 D Wilder fights, then for D Whyte & D Chisore he didn't really need it to beat both off them, as he was the much superior boxer.
Look at T Furys eyes & A Usyks eyes as the ref is talking to them b4 the fight starts round one. Usyk has " the eye of a tiger"! T Fury has lost it!!!!
T Fury could have 10 rematchs but wouldnt win them, his time is over, hes done!!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Def like to fury usyk rematch rather than aj usyk 3 - the fury uysk fight was a great fight and I think with flows it had and both fighters variations it’s the type of fight where each fight would be different …. Aj uysk both fights were the same & AJ has just had two good performances against much lower opposition & novice
Wanna see rematch fury vs usyk end of year 🥊
The ref got in the way a couple of times when Usyk was pounding Fury in the 9th. Should have been a KO
1 point in it
I feel like Tyson couldn't get accustomed to that southpaw punch from usyk those lefties come different and I agree with Ricky Tyson landed good but had nothing on his punches
I think Fury thought the body shots would do it... which was a big assumption.
Great interview, Usyk should retire now he has proved everything 🥊
