Holyfield was the only boxer to be undisputed in two weight classes (Cruiserweight and Heavyweight) in the 3 Belt Era, and Usyk is now the only one to do it in the 4 belt era.
Unfortunately it's only going to last a couple weeks until I think the IBF is stripping him, because with this 4 belt nonsense he can't fight every mandatory challenger at once.

It's awesome to see Usyk achieve this type of success. If anyone deserves this, it's this guy. No out of control Ego, He isn't delusionaly cocky. He respects all his opponents. He's humble even when he could be drunk with confidence but he doesn't choose that route. On top of that Usyk Is brave enough to wear his emotions on his sleeve (even tho it's so often people say strong men shouldn't be emotional) Usyk is a great role model because expressing emotion isn't weak. It can be the realist way to build TRUE Strength! Also the dude is a comedian even when he isn't trying to be.. Lol He's just himself. A goofy character and a very dedicated hard working professional athlete. It's almost poetic to see someone of the caliber & character of Usyk be the one representing UKRAINE. It feels like he achieved a rare honor that now can be gifted to his entire country. Even if it's only in the form of internal pride for your motherland and for everyone born and raised there who's going thru this challenging chapter.. I hope Usyk winning this world title can give the people of Ukraine faith that THEY can overcome ANYTHING.
I was very impressed with the quality & caliber of this fight from both guys. I felt Usyk clearly did enough to get a Win but I told my dad "Watch they will give it to Fury" it seemed I was right but Thank God Usyk won. Insane how he only won by 1 point on 1 judges card! That's insane how close they were to Robbing Usyk.
That shot where Usyk that landed right on Fury's Nose got an immediate reaction and lots of bleeding, is where I think the fight really shifted into a different gear. It was a great battle. Both guys should be proud of how well they fought. Fury should realize the rematch is happening and stop with any of that other BS he started pulling out post fight. Also all those headlines & reports/posts claiming "Usyk isn't doing a post fight interview due to going to the hospital with a broken jaw" Turned out to all be lies. Even Fury publicly ran with it in his post fight interview. Usyk addressed the lies himself In a Post fight interview with NO broken jaw... Enough shady BS. The judges almost stole that win away from Usyk. He only won by 1 point on one judges card?! It was that close to being ripped away from him.. I wish boxing didn't have all this crap stuck to it.
At first I really liked seeing the sportsmanship after the fight BUT then fury complained about the decision (that's fine they are instantly doing the rematch) but then it sounded like he was going to express respect & compassion towards Ukraine & how it's being invaded by Russia BUT he then flipped it and used it to come up with a excuse as to why he lost because people felt compassion for Usyk? That's such utter BS! I just hate all this extra nonsense that they've attached to Boxing. Besides all of that. It was a great fight lol

He was already considered the cruiserweight GOAT (or 2nd at worst behind Holyfield), and now he has beaten the two best heavyweights of this era (AJ & Fury) who both have tons of weight on him. It's pretty wild what he's done.

    • @orestmakar8562
      @orestmakar8562 17 дней назад +1

@@naturalprinciples8520Tyson Fury back in the day said that Muhammad Ali would not stand a chance against him. The pundants retreated and amplified this message. The reason it was disrespectfull of them to say it was because There is no way to prove or disprove it. Ali cannot step in the ring and prove Fury wrong so it all boils down to Fury using mass media to promote this idea of him being the Greatest of all time and peoppe believing it. The main argument the pundants gave to justify their claim was the only objective criteria there was -size. They claimed that none of the old champions would have a chance against modern day giants of the HW division.
When Usyk beat AJ and Fury he proved them wrong. He proved that a smaller man can beat a much bigger opponent. Usyks size was similar to Holyfield and Ali. His style focuses on speed and agility and is more remeniscent of old school boxing and what it prioratised.
That said Usyk beating Fury does not prove that Ali would beat Fury or Usyk.
It is impossible to predict who will win as the champions of old are old or dead and cannot enter the ring to prove who is better. This is why the arguments that Fury would beat the champions of old is pointless and stupid just like the argument that The champions of old would beat modern day champions.
People who make such claims what to take away from what Usyk has acomplished. For a long time these people said that Usyk is not good enough to face „the best” as tgey will „eat him up” with ease. Whenever one of „the best” has fallen instead of giving Usyk his props these people degraded the boxer that lost to „ was never any good”. This happened to AJ and not it happens with Fury. Usyk beating the last boxer that the pundants depended on to prove to everyone that Usyk was never any good. When Usyk beat Fury, who had to be saved by the ref from a KO, the same people started to degrade the entire era of boxing claiming that „Usyk beat them all, because they are not as good as the champions of old”.
The only reason people say it is because Usyk beat the top modern day HW who had every physical advanatage over him, and this defies everything these people were made to believe, what they religiously believed in and what they went around and quoted. Things like „size matters”, „weight categories exist for a reason”, „a good biggen beat a good littlen”. Toth Fury’s defeat everytjing came crushing out the window and the only way to cope is to say that AJ an Fury were never any good which tried todiminish Usyks victory and make it less impresive.
To put things into perspective Fury had a 6 inches hight advantage, a 7inch reach advantage and a 38,5 weight advantage (Thats the equivalent if a midleweight fighting a cruserweight).
What Usyk did is legendary without a shadow of a doubt. Its irrelevant how would he mach up agaisnt Ali because we will never know. Such discutions take away from the acomplishemnts of both men. Which i believe is wrong.
While we are at it i have similar feelings about the P4P comparison. Its impossible to compare boxers who fight at extreamly different weight categories because the boxers face different opponents, will never meat each other of the guys from their weight class and will never face each other. The only legitimate way to prove you are better from a person in a higher weight class is to move up in weight and chalange the person in that higher weight class.

It's baffling how almost every single other "similar" (not) video poorly made on the majority of other channels (keeping in mind, this is indeed the BOUT OF THE CENTURY!) Kudos to this channel and the creators of this video! I'm surprised I wasn't subscribed to this channel prior. Greetings from Ukraine, friends!
What an even for boxing that was! Huge respect for the Gypsy King for being the only worthy competitor to my countryman, and for taking the challenge! Controversials aside (they are not that essential after all) - a great boxer of our generation!
And nothing but the praise for Oleksandr Usyk! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!
Wish nothing but the best for every boxing fan and deaccent peaceful human being around the world! Excuse me for being somewhat sentimental! Peace and prosperity to all the decent people reading this, I'm shaking your hand 🤝
One thing, I don't know why here and in most others collages people don't use the footage of that hard punch to Tyson's nose, If I'm not mistaken it was in 8th round, it was quite an important punch in the bout.
Or I just missed it in this video, but I think it's not in it
P.S. I just have watched this video the second time, and I can attest to everything I have said earlier - great director's/editor's work, the sequence of clips/frames is really good, feels just like a proper film, kudos one more time, no one of your competitors amongst youtube entities did anything close to that. Not so much praising your work (but I still am), but rather disappointed in all the rest.
Well, I'll keep myself a hope independent filmmakers will occur which will be willing to make documentaries about this, just like about the great bouts and boxers of the past.

From a “Most Dangerous Man in the entire World” perspective, winning Undisputed at Heavyweight alone should be enough to take the P4P #1 crown away from lower-weight greats like Bud & Inoue, even though Pound-4-Pound has historically discriminated against heavyweights by completely excluding them, in this case the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion is also the former Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion who had a stellar amateur career iced with an Olympic gold medal.
