T Such wonderful places you have to Fish. I’m a disabled VETERAN unable to drive 77 and my friends have passed. Great friends in all. So no one to fish with. Freeze those extra worms! I have a tree in my backyard and when I pick the worms, I place in a Sterilite container with a lid in the freezer until frozen hard. Then pop them out and place in Ziploc bags of whatever quantity you like. I have about 1000 in the freezer from last year and am ready to hit the Arkansas River!
My dad would freeze also, but in an old coffee can and with cornmeal poured in so they didn’t stick together so badly . He used them for crappie. The black line down the back feels like velvet. I read on another comment that said to drop them in boiling water, but I am pretty sure he never did.

Question...? Can you preserve those Catalpa Worms for later use?
I answered my own question, via Google and your own Game & Fish Division... take freshly harvested worms, bring a pot of water to a LIGHT boil, toss worms in for about ONE MINUTE... as soon as they have stiffened just a bit, remove, and place onto paper towel to dry. Once dry, place a handful of CORNMEAL and worms into a ziplock bag (or vacuum seal??), label, and freeze. There.
Jay ,pull the heads off I worms and take a stick bobber and turn them in side out and the blue gills go crazy for them. Best baits for pan fish I have ever fished with. And i am 80 years old. Love your show .🎉

Turtle gotta eat too! I'm a turtle fanatic. As a kid fished with Grandpa. Caught a bunch of fish. Later pulled up the stringer. Had only a bunch of heads. such is life! Love ur videos.

Your channel popped up on my page. Love watching you catch those fish. Cooking them on the grill I know taste so so good. Man oh man you got bite by those snakes. I was sitting on the edge of my seat saying what the hell is he crazy. You go boy you have heart to catch 2 snakes at one time.

I was bored and was surfing looking for cat fishing videos and came across you guys. I like your channel so far. I have you a thanks and subscribed to check your channel out for awhile and wanted to see if I like your channel I do so far. I never thought in a million years to use l caterpillars to catch cats. My favorite cat fish of course flat heads. My favorite to catch are monsters of course 60 pounders and on up. My favorite to eat are 6 pounders to 15,16,17 is the biggest I like to eat. Anyways the crappie you two caught in the beginning is the sorry not the is my favorite. Good video you guys looking forward to your next

As a kid, we fished with catawba worms often. We also used to gather as many as we could get and freeze them in cornmeal, so we fished with them all year round.

my grand daughters caught a 18 lb. flat head with hot dogs with garlic powder on it on the glaize arm of lake ozark mo. with a kids rod and 6 lb line it was a blast and did it all by her self . i just wish i had pics of it. love you all
