The engine build specs are nice its definitely a runner definitely not a slouch.
It won’t be the fastest car, but it will definitely keep up with traffic. I think with Heather’s 77, I’m going to go much larger because it won’t be getting driven daily.

The CSP linkage, is a good setup. The air filters for those Kadron, are available at your local NAPA store. Part# 2087 Same filters used on Chevy Corvairs. The idle/main jets, are the same jets used on 34-pict Solex carbs.
Oh wow, you just made my whole day! I know a few people were saying the empi air filters did not fit the cages I have.
I will definitely give my local NAPA a call. I’m new to these carburetors as you already know. You’re always a big help. I appreciate that more than you realize.

The application for the air filters are for a 1965 corvair truck. In case Napa needs information.
@@vintage76vipergreenBeetle thank you so much! I’m glad to know that there are air filters that will fit what I have. When I got an email from somebody, it showed the empi ones did not fit. They were too tall for the cages if that makes sense.
Very nice engine and great videos I have a 1969 buggy paid 10,000$ to have a lot done to it engine didn’t even last a year and of course warranty has been up it’s been in my family since 1969 my kids love it and miss it right now I am in the process of budget building the engine reusing most of the parts which are crap but no choice hope it’ll run or sound half as good as your engine but the guy that built it and charged me put this engine together with used parts around his yard when he told me it would be all new sure wish I had ppl sending us new free stuff or even used stuff but keep the knowledge and the videos comin thank you !!!

Thanks for dong an ----- Index ----- on your videos --------- we are all at different stages on our VWs ----- and at different needs ----- BUT ------ when it is time to fix ---- repair ---- install ----- whatever ------ we can go to your ----- INDEX ----- and hopefully find what we need ------- THAT ------ will help up all ----- Thanks Again ------------- I think on your carbs there --- the fuel inlet ---- you look at that and you can change from one side to the other ------ reverse the ---- Plug ---- on opposite side and put the inlet on the that side ---- just reverse what is there ---------- Hope you two had a Good 4th ------ Thank you for the video ------ Rodney
Hey Rodney, how you been brother. Somebody sent me a diagram of their set up with the fuel line, and it made sense after I seen it.
I’m going to be finishing up the index for the website this week, and then I’ll do a quick video showing it. It will make life so much easier for folks hopefully.

I BELIEVE KADRON RECENTLY JUST STARTED OFFERING BLACK POWDER COATED AIR CLEANERS.
Yes, the ones on mine are black. I have to find air filters that fit them. They do say Kadron on them. I’m just gonna have to locate them. I measured I believe they are 3 inches in height.

This is off subject but empi makes a doghouse fan shroud that uses the bus oil cooler which is a little bigger that is supposed to help with cooling i ordered one from them thank-you for the valuable info you provide for us.

@SladesVWBeetle UNFORTUNATELY I like in Alabama, I am however from Hershey PA, and my wife and I used to come out to the Pittsburgh area to Falling Water and the Conservatory at Squirrel hill.
@michaelyoung1901 oh wow that’s amazing, I have been the falling water. It’s about 40 minutes from my house. And squirrel Hill is just on the parkway for me about 30 minutes. That is so cool. Sometimes I get frustrated with Pennsylvania, but I think I’m getting too old to move. Lol.

@SladesVWBeetle I'm one of the co-founders of SuperBeetles Only! James (aka Superman) and I started it in 1999 (I'm H2OSB on there and everywhere). James has fallen off the face of the Earth. Mark and I have both tried to locate him. I actually took a hiatus from the VW hobby in 2004, but came back after 10 years. Now I'm more into Super Beetles than ever.
That is awesome. I haven’t known the history on super beetles only. It’s actually a very very good group. The first one I did on RUclips was a super beetle. I was amazed at the handling, and much more comfort compared to the standard.
