Justin, I am 67 years young and have fished 61 of them. I have learned more from you in the last 2 years than I have in the last 10. Thank you so much for sharing your technique (s) and knowledge. Love those Gulp minnows. Keep on, my man!
Every morning my day starts fishing with Justin. Congratulations on the number of viewers you have earned by providing fantastic content. I'll be seeing you tomorrow Justin.
As a boy I hunted for turtles (gopher tortoises while I lived in Florida) as much as I fished. Eventually I adopted as one of my totems the patient painted turtle sunning on a log along the shore of a Midwest pond or lake.. On behalf of the turtle you graciously unhooked and all the box turtles and other varieties you've befriended, I send you a small token of appreciation.
Get well soon Roscoe! Thanks for your hard work you put into make your videos Justin great job great content excellent instruction. Keep it up. You and Roscoe are in my prayers.
Great video Justin. Prayers for roscoe. Our pets are family members. We'll be praying he can make a full recovery, you can definitely tell he's a awesome dog.
Glad to see Roscoe looking good. Seeing that tail wag when you know they're not feeling good is a wonderful thing. Awesome video! And thanks for the update on RUclips's favorite dog.
Our prayers go out to Rosco and to you and your Family as well Oh and I ordered 2 jars of the Gulp Minnows 1" from Cabela's 4 days ago and can't wait to try them out.
Those white bass make good eatin also. My dad and I used to go down below Carlyle lake at night with a light and when they were running wed come out of there with a cooler FULL of nice whites bouncing a minnow off the bottom
Awesome video I appreciate learning from your videos everytime and that is what I enjoy the most as a very young angler and RUclipsr so being able too learn something everytime is just amazing
Wear em out god bless and hope to see more videos. And prayers coming from jonesborough TN. Can't wait to see a huge bait video like a live catfish or largemouth.
holy bluegill... lol keep on keeping on man.. I come across this video while searching for kayak vids.. im now a subscriber after 5 mins of this video.. great stuff man!
We used to go to a spot on the Oregon coast for fall silver salmon.. 8 to 15 lbs.. we would take a dozen trout poles and fight them like hell... pick the 2 best fish and were very glad the steering wheel was round.. they would bend those trout poles all the way back to the reel.. end up snapping a few in half.. but what a blast salmon fishing with trout poles is the best fishing
Hey Justin. Keep it up. I’ve been watching and fishing all summer. I didn’t really start catching them until I started using the gulp minnows. This past Sunday I went out and I got eight in the boat in about 3 1/2 hours.
I was bait fishin a small feeder creek one day and caught a 36 inch flathead on a number 12 hook and half a wax worm. I had 4 pound maxima line on an ultra light st. Croix rod. Luckily there was a small sand bar where I drug it up on shore. Nice video buddy!
Kinda like ol Forrest Gump.. fishing with gulp minnows is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what ya gonna catch lol funny but true. I keep a jar of them with me whenever I go fishing. Glad to see rosco there at the end, he’s a good ol boy. Hopefully he continues to do good with the treatment. Great video Justin
Those Bream make for good eating. Especially those larger ones. My dad and I used to go back in the early 70s and catch a mess of them, take them home clean and eat them.
Justin, Just curious if you have a set up at home for your live bait, or do you just keep them aerated in the bucket for a few days between trips? Curious on how you keep all these gills!
I'd like to see you get some 1.5" Nikko Caddisfly and see how they compare to the 1" Gulp for catching bait fish. I love gulp, but catch many more sunfish and small bass on the Caddisfly. Olive clear or black work the best and they last forever.
The first time I sent a 1" Gulp minnow on a jig down I was anticipating catching Crappie, instead I came up with Trout, some of them rather large. especially on an ultralight rod.
Thanks to you I've been throwing jig heads on light line and holy shit I've been getting huge numbers of fish. 8 and 10 lb cats on 2lb line is the most fun ever! Thanks for sharing!
Ok funny question but how do the small Lrg Mouth knock the gulp minnow off the hook. Love these videos of your excitement on the ultralights. Watching this what eating Sunday breakfast 👍🎣
Get well soon Rosco my prayers to you and mate stay safe and I've got a fishing story for you , me and few friends went night fishing couldn't believe my eyes nor ears I heard this thump looked to my right and a 15inche mullet jumped on the jetty to say hello I was like catch him as I was the furtherest away but one of my fishing buddies nudged the mullet back in the water I was like bro that was free bait we could've used him for live bait for a XL Jewish or something huge other then Eels or catfish over here in some parts of Australia preferable New South Wales in Grafton on the Clarence river all you catch is small catfish but I will say this one there's a some monster sized flathead known as river lizards largest one I hooked was about 3feet failed to land it

I caught a big spiney back softshell turtle last year (2021). Va state record if I recall was 18 inch shell. I believe I beat the record by 3 inches but I didnt submit it. Still have pictures of it and it was less than thrilled being caught. I caught it on a crawdad tail and I remember saying what did I hook then a big ol frisbee came in and raised cain lmao!
Never seen you do it, not sure if you've ever posted catching any, but I'm surprised you don't catch more crappie. Would you use one as bait if it was legal size? If so, live or cut bait?
Hay just a little tip about turtles. If you ever get bit by a turtle and he doesn't want to let go. I carry with me in a small bottle that I can seal good, rubbing alcohol. Poor some of that into the corner of it's mouth and it will let go. It doesn't cause any permanent harm to it. It's better than trying to figure out how to real in a fish with a turtle hanging from your finger.
10:50 Awesome tip right there. I'm finally buying a Kayak and I know of a place just like that at my local Reservoir. Trying to decide on which Old Town. Can't make up my mind if I want to pedal or cruise along in that 136 autopilot.
I know you’re a big catch and release fisherman, but have you ever tried eating some of the game fish you keep for bait, like that white bass. It’d be cool to see a catch n cook.

I’m just getting into kayak fishing and love your channel but my ? Is what’s everyone’s opinion on Bonafide ss107 kayak?
I usually hook em in the shell. Im told turtles are protected here. We have a softshell turtle and they are pretty cool
I use the gulp minnows and I don't even buy nightcrawlers and stuff anymore love the video
Wow amazing fishing
Prayers for Roscoe 🙏🙏🙏….he’s a good boy!!!
You should keep that juice from the empty gulp it's awesome to soak soft plastic in for sent. Give it a try
Obviously liking the video before watching
My absolute favorite type of fishing. Got two TARP bream this past Saturday. That makes 6 for me. Caught the last one on the gulp minnow too !
TARP? Bluegills?

Blue gill are sold as bait

I got a shoutout im the big bait request guy. Thanks for the shoutout sir!
Have you thought about doing something like a road trip for fishing?

Blue Gill, white bass, shad, they are all fish > "if it has a head and a tale and smells like a fish it's a FISH"

My husband and I have the Old Towne pedal kayaks and love them. Its much easier than I expected!
Justin, I'm guessing a 15 inch live bait would be 2 hooks?
I know you’re a big catch and release fisherman, but have you ever tried eating some of the game fish you keep for bait, like that white bass. It’d be cool to see a catch n cook.
