Actually visiting the big cities is a great way to see a lot of things. I've visited Krakow, Gdansk, and Wroclaw, and had a fantastic time in all of them. There are plenty of museums, cathedrals, and historic buildings to see in the main cities and they are very easy to reach. Not everyone needs to go off the beaten track to have a great time visiting a country.
@@TravellingWithCon I went to Poland a few years back with my kids and definately small towns were easier. For example Sandomierz was recommended as a mini Krakow and that it was.
That’s interesting that you said that, because personally I found that there was less space in Gdansk old town, because the old town it’s so compact! But yes, Krakow is generally the more overcrowded with tourists ahah
Top 3 1.Wroclaw 2.Warszawa 3.Gdansk I recommend to visit Wroclaw in Poland 🇵🇱 its a very beautiful City but a bit underrated… not so much Tourists ,and a very good nightlife ,restaurants and bars 👌
the best is Gdansk ,Warszawa, Lublin, Krakow .definitely not Wroclaw ..Wroclaw from my point of view is overestimated .This is an average city in Europe heavily destroyed during ww2 and not rebuilt property and with visible infilled building .Churches are too modest. Except for a few nice buildings nothing interesting is there . I would destroy a few new buildings ,change traffic ,open more to the river ..
I personally quite like the vibrancy in Wroclaw. But I guess there are some uglier buildings outside the “old town”. Still, Polish cities are great! 🇵🇱
In May 2024, I visited 3 cities in Poland: Krakow, Poznan, and Gdansk. Krakow was the one I liked the least because it was crowded, but it is still a beautiful and nice city (8/10) Poznan was a happy surprise, it had stunning churches, the square with the city hall is beautiful, and it also has many modern buildings or older modernised, and all of this remains very pleasant (9/10) Gdansk was my favourite, because it exceeded my expectations, and since it was 27° it was nice to go to the beach and swim lol. (9.5/10) The funny thing is Gdansk was recommended to me by a polish friend who has actually never been there. I told her how high I thought of this city and that I wanted to go back there with her, and she agreed. We managed to drag a common friend in the plan, so hopefully the three of us can go there. And I want to go to Wroclaw too.

You forgot 1 city
Which one? 😅
The worst city in poland was seczczin for me. It has no spirit and there is not a place where Pubs or Lokals are in one street.
I haven’t been there, but it sounds like I should avoid aha!
Quite opposite. It’s very different than the rest of the country. It has a very German architecture and it’s pretty cool
@@pawelborger8819 interesting to hear! Maybe I will check it out one day
1. Gdansk. 2. Krakow 3. Warsaw 4. Bialystok 5. Poznan
Interesting! Why is Gdansk your favourite? It’s certainly a very pretty place
@@TravellingWithCon haha, Krakow is beautiful, but Gdansk have more space. I like big malls in Gdansk. Although, Krakow wins for food!
That’s interesting that you said that, because personally I found that there was less space in Gdansk old town, because the old town it’s so compact! But yes, Krakow is generally the more overcrowded with tourists ahah
Top 3
1.Wroclaw
2.Warszawa
3.Gdansk
I recommend to visit Wroclaw in Poland 🇵🇱 its a very beautiful City but a bit underrated… not so much Tourists ,and a very good nightlife ,restaurants and bars 👌
I think Wroclaw is a very beautiful city indeed 🇵🇱
Warsaw in summer
Coming from a person currently living in Łódź, it really shouldn't be 8th.
It should be lower, somehow. I hate it here xD
Ahahah, well have you been to Białystok? I went there too, and at least Łódź is better Białystok ahahaaha
the best is Gdansk ,Warszawa, Lublin, Krakow .definitely not Wroclaw ..Wroclaw from my point of view is overestimated .This is an average city in Europe heavily destroyed during ww2 and not rebuilt property and with visible infilled building .Churches are too modest. Except for a few nice buildings nothing interesting is there . I would destroy a few new buildings ,change traffic ,open more to the river ..
I personally quite like the vibrancy in Wroclaw. But I guess there are some uglier buildings outside the “old town”. Still, Polish cities are great! 🇵🇱
@TravellingWithCon Wroclaw is my destination to visit besides Warsaw !!! Maybe a few more cities ,because Poland is gorgeous 😍

I actually hadn’t heard of Słupsk before - I just googled it now, it looks like a lovely place! Are you from Poland? 🇵🇱
Polish concentration camps???🥴
Sorry my bad! I didn’t mean to phrase is like that 🇵🇱
German concentration camps remember
@@LudwikKoloska apologies for the mis-phrasing, I did indeed mean German 🙏
Wroclaw is the most beautiful town in Poland
It’s very beautiful indeed! It’s such a colourful old town square! What is you second favourite Polish town? 🇵🇱
It is gdansk
@@marilahti another lovely place too! I’d like to visit Torun one day, have you been there?
In May 2024, I visited 3 cities in Poland: Krakow, Poznan, and Gdansk.
Krakow was the one I liked the least because it was crowded, but it is still a beautiful and nice city (8/10)
Poznan was a happy surprise, it had stunning churches, the square with the city hall is beautiful, and it also has many modern buildings or older modernised, and all of this remains very pleasant (9/10)
Gdansk was my favourite, because it exceeded my expectations, and since it was 27° it was nice to go to the beach and swim lol. (9.5/10)
The funny thing is Gdansk was recommended to me by a polish friend who has actually never been there. I told her how high I thought of this city and that I wanted to go back there with her, and she agreed. We managed to drag a common friend in the plan, so hopefully the three of us can go there. And I want to go to Wroclaw too.
