The map is super foggy so it reminds me of fog, i was near a sea town at one point where the wind started blowing mist in from the seas and the entire place got covered in mini clouds just like as in the level, i put my earbuds in and listened to this while just sitting in the fog, it was near a playground like area where somone hat put out a picnic blanket and snacks. So i just sat there listening to this, it was surreal.
To me this song is the embodiment of "everything is going to be okay" and comes off more sad than anything. I can only imagine hearing this while crying into someone's arms
The longest song of this soundtrack. Honestly you could repeat the same loop of a song several times and give yourself the title: "Longest song of this soundtrack" But it's not the case here, It's much more... Sure this song repeats itself: 3 times and the 4th is incomplete and that's not 7 loops because there is a variation that sounds like the same harmony but missing the first 4 bars. The song manages to make you lost in its repetitiveness because some parts look the same but are not... like a tree in a forest (Speaking of tree there is the Leitmotiv of "Trees..." at 1:11). Excellent atmosphere on this song.

What I love about omori is that, when you think about it the "lore" isn't super duper deep concerning the events in the real world. But the game shrouds the "incident" in mystery so well that you'll think it is super deep. That's one of the things I dislike about some games, like Lisa or Hollow Knight. Amazing games, but trying to actually figure out the lore and stuff feels damn near impossible without doing a lot of research. And I still have no idea how anyone is supposed to figure out how to get Hollow Knight's good ending with all the cryptic shit it gives you to work off of. sorry for rant lol

this is the original version of the lost library, and once omori/sunny finally finds his old memories the song is "cured" and his memories are finally returning to him
With this being arguably the first puzzle based area in the game not counting the junkyard maze, I love how the music hints at the solution by playing audio of a fire followed by the minecart. Almost everything is telegraphed really well and none of the solutions I've seen so far have been anything that I wouldn't end up trying sooner or later (this coming from someone who took like a solid minute to try the toilet on day 0 instead of the trashcan, but that one's on me. Hopefully the bathroom in Sunny's new house is closer to the kitchen)
This sounds like being lost in your thoughts, and instead of you controlling them, they control you. This reminds me of thoughts that are wild, sad, or weird, and echo through the mind, trying to find you, the listener and thinker.
I love this and the library song so much, there’s just a weird ethereal feeling to it. Like you’re somewhere but you don’t know here, you’re floating, there’s nobody there, it’s peaceful but, something feels slightly amiss…
I never really thought much about it at first, but while playing that little interactive game on the Omori website, I realized the wall that blocks the minecart tracks is actually made of dead sprout moles.

the thing that really makes me terrified of this track is how it feels like all the instruments are like... "zoning out", fading away aand then fading back in, like it straight up feels like im zoning out, you get loud music and then suddenly it all just goesss.. away....
Longlegs is probably my favorite NPC in this game. He gives cryptic relevant dialogue, and it can even be applied to real life. Especially the one about us “doing things we want as opposed to things we say we do.”
