Moderation is the key! Nice haul. I just picked up my first order yesterday, and I see your order came with some of the items I wanted, Lucky you. Nice haul!
It did! But bummed out a bunch of items I ordered were out of stock. But that is to be expected with the rapid growth of the company in recent times. Thank you for watching!!
I love the azure haul. I got mine. I was 25 minutes late due to work but they were still unloading the truck. I got in line and helped the best I could. Another person was so kind and helped me load my stuff. I will do it again next month. Hoping for some gallon jars, vinegar sorghum syrup and molasses next month. I tried this month but didn’t get anything. Thank you for telling us about the oiled raisins. Can you let me know if you liked those or not??
I do the same method with the restocking of containers/jars. I don't think we have sushi rice here. I mostly buy the basmati. Think we have enough rice for 5 years, maybe longer. Really need some custom shelves in the pantry downstairs. It looks like a mad disaster with all the preservation I've done this fall.
I’d love to re do my pantry room with better shelves. I’m using yard-sale and thrift store finds and they work for now. But it’s not enough space or good use of space- it could always improve. One step at a time.😅
Yes one step at a time Katie. Also using free shelving I picked up from a friend with a recycling warehouse. They're huge and ugly but work for now. :)@@RowesRising
Make sure you pick off the tomato blossoms. The plants are too small to produce fruit without putting stress on the plant--the blossoms are probably a result of stress. Give them a shot of fertilizer and let them grow a bit before you let them bloom and set fruit. Also, do you watch She's in Her Apron? She has a number of videos on food storage.
Azure has great prices and the nicest people but by the time it comes to shipping my order almost everything is on back order. I’m going up to a huge Amish store next week. I use to shop there a lot. A friend still does. So far they have had everything she wanted at decent prices.
Brown rice rly keeps short time but even at a yr mine is ok still YAY Don’t buy flours and cracked grains. They go rancid Store whole grains and beans and get a mill that cracks and flakes/rolls as well as makes flour
I have 2 gallon gamma seal buckets and lids specifically. I bought some 2 gallon buckets from Walmart and the 2 gallon gamma seal lids I have don’t fit the 2 gallon buckets from Walmart. But they do fit the 2 gallon from Azure. I haven’t found any 3 gallon buckets yet. I also gave the gamma seal lids that fit 3,5 and 7 gallon buckets you speak of :)
I had no idea they even made smaller buckets and those lids! I might have to check that out! I know they have had a few issues around here with the Azure delivery getting changed, so I am waiting another month or so to see if it gets fixed. I just can't jump up from my job and go pick up whenever they change times and days like that. Our weather has warmed up finally and what did I do? I broke my ankle Wednesday! So I am going to be doing what I can and have to wait on healing to do the big stuff. I said I can sit at the back of my SUV in a folding chair and take the potting soil out one grow bag at a time and plant that way. I only got my blueberry bushes, peas, and half the potatoes planted before I hurt myself.
Oh bless Virginia!! I am so sorry to hear about your ankle. That’s just upsetting to say the least. Maybe some “bone knitter” comfrey leaf and some bone broth to nourish your healing in the coming weeks. I’ll be thinking of you and hope you have some help. You can rest assured you have done as much as you can given your circumstances 🌻
I ordered the 2, 3.5 and 5 gallon buckets and gamma lids from Baytech. Prices are comparable but shipping was more than Azure. I look at it has a long term investment. Azure has been on back order every time it came to shipping my order. Any additional I’ll try to get from Azure. At least I have my core amount of buckets and lids.
One of my children has a chocolate allergy so we buy carob chips. Allergy free chocolate chips are a misnomer here . But obviously there are worse allergies and she's very careful about avoiding chocolate and has been since she was 3.
Thanks for sharing!! I should try those next to round. We have to avoid peanuts with her. And some other things but that seems to cause the most issues.

Wow Rita Thank you!! I see your name :) The $25 credit goes to me if new customers place a $100 order within 3 months of signing up :) So when you share your link be sure to tell your friends and fam they get the same deal✨
Oh bless don’t order more just for me. Go into “my account” in the menu, and then click “Share Azure” and that’s where all your referral information is. You can also share any item and that gives a link that’s specific to your referral code.
We live in Southern Oregon in the high desert basin of Klamath. We are on the edge of the cascades +4K sea level. Our home is “down in the holler” as I call it between hills and we are surrounded by trees- so lots of shade to contend with. I’m trying!! I try every year🤪
You mentioned freezing grains, I just want to mention that rice needs to be frozen too. You are probably already doing that but just in case. I have some rice growing bugs after six months and it was not pretty
Thank you Jean!!! We need to be very specific for folks. Sorry to hear about your bugs! Is rice not a grain? 🧐 I asked google “Any food made from wheat, rice, oats, cornmeal, barley, or another cereal grain is a grain product. Bread, pasta, breakfast cereals, grits, and tortillas are examples of grain products. Foods such as popcorn, rice, and oatmeal are also included in the Grains Group.”
I freeze most everything as a precaution, personally. But if you subscribe to Grains and Grit she lives in Fl and has grains in a shed for years just in buckets- never frozen and she has no problems. But I also have heard folks have rice a few months and have bugs so I just try to be extra extra careful with my measures. I mention long term storage prep in some of my most recent videos too :)
Hello Katie I am new to your channel, we are a military family as well darling. My husband just retired from the army 30 years 🙏. I have been wanting to do an Azure order, however when I looked up for a drop off area it is at a persons home. There is 2 that are central for me here in Tennessee. My question is : is that normal to have a drop zone at a persons house ? And should I be concerned ? I have been thinking about orders and even have an account but have not ordered 😲. Can you let me know plz. God bless and stay safe 🙏💞
Hi Penny, I live in southwest Florida and my pick zone is at someone’s house as well. At first, I was uncomfortable, but it was amazing, everyone was super friendly!
Thank you and your husband for your service!! We are looking at East TN to live after my husbands retirement. Yes pick up can be wherever the drop coordinator wants. Sometimes it’s a house, park, or parking lot, to name a few locations I have heard of. Everyone that meets up is typically really nice and helpful.

Love the idea of oiled raisins! I’m going to add those to my next order.
I think that’s how the conventional Sunkist raisins are- oil coated. These are organic so that’s a plus!
Thanks for sharing your Azure haul. You always have such great tips on food storage.
Thanks for watching Jan! I need more content ideas to accompany the haul.😅
I love your presentation! Always interesting to watch. That almost fly catch was awesome also. Lol
Thank you Sandy!! Apparently I cannot catch flies and talk at the same time.😂
I love your Azure hauls! I have never ordered from there but I want to try soon, love the stuff they have.
Thanks for watching Mikaila!
Love your channel. Thanks for sharing! Do you have a low carb (diabetic friendly) bread recipe?
I love your channel!
Thank you Joy!!
I'm just starting my long term food storage journey. This was so helpful!
I’m glad you found this video helpful!!
Good information. I liked everything, but my very favorite is your gorgeous kitchen!!
Awe thank you Gram Cracker!! I love it too. It’s going to be hard to find a new home that can replace the view and natural light from the windows. 🥰
@@RowesRising I hope you don't have to find a new home real soon
Within the next 4 years we’ll be relocating across the country.
@@RowesRising sigh...I guess that's the military life?

I sure will!! Thanks for watching and I’m glad you had some help Chicken Mama!! I was worried for you😅
We love the 9 grain flakes!!! We eat it like oatmeal, and if there is any leftovers I’ll mix it into bread.
Perfect! I can’t wait to try it.

Our drop just has a name card for everyone and we lay them out and then take box to each persons spot
That's how we do it too
I just received an email from azure saying our next delivery is on hold due to truck issues
My Azure order came last night. I got mostly plants. They arrived super healthy and packed very well.
That’s awesome!! I’m satisfied with my plants I just need decent temps to plant them. 🌻🪴

Thank you!! I was wondering if I needed to pinch those off to help it. I also need to get some fertilizer 👀
Also my squash plants are starting to blossom so I’ve got some maintenance to do on these babies.

I've been wanting to try this but hadnt done it yet bc the drop off never a day am off cant just hit the right timing.
Hard to find 1/2 gallon glass jars. I found 3 at Walmart this year. Wish I could find more
They have been difficult to find. I’m sure all the stores here are sold out.

Oh it’s such a bummer!! I’m glad I got some already grown. They sprout and die. I don’t know😓

Also put your lemon balm in a contained place. It's part of the mint family and will spread :)
Oh thank you! I loooooove Lemon Balm- can you tell I’m a stress carrying person and I need it😅?
Depends on what zone you live in, I’m zone 3 and it rarely survives the winter :(
Sadly the nearest Azure drop is a 4 hour drive for me... 8 hours total.
Bummer!! Maybe you can apply to have a drop in your town? They have an option on the website :)
Could you start your own drop?

Thank you for the suggestion. Do you have a suggestion for an affordable mic?
