OBSESSION: the state of being obsessed with someone.
ADMIRATION: respect and warm approval.
Have you ever noticed that no matter how BAD your favorite recording artist latest album may be, you will still look forward to purchasing and listening to his or her next album release? The very same thing can be said about your favorite actor or actress, regarding their movie roles. The reason being is that you may have developed an intense admiration for the PERSON'S CHARACTER over their performances 😁 This type of behavior is very common in the culture of this fallen world, but it is NOT acceptable in the kingdom of God! Consistency is of the utmost importance when it comes to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 4:2-5). Jesus was well RESPECTED by the people whom hated Him because He had REMAINED CONSISTED with preaching the TRUTH! The focus was NOT placed on His personal character but on his Godly actions.
📖 Philippians 2:7 📖
But made Himself of NO reputation, and took upon Him the (form) of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Keep your spiritual eyes focused on CHRIST and NOT your natural eyes on the preacher's POPULARITY😁
