I am a physician (not from the US) and it's always horribly surprising how so many patients (both young and old) are dismissed for months with these catastrophic diagnoses... but dealing with people and the insurance companies is not easy. If your first response is to test for the least common and worst disease you will catch these patients earlier for sure; but there will be hundreds that wont have cancer and will blame you as a doctor for prescribing them expensive tests or labs (that their insurance will not cover) and with that blame they will also not continue their follow up with you... I agree something has to change... but it's not as simple as you would think. The system itself needs a lot of improvement and to give patients more power in their overall healthy journey.
@@griselreyes3813 That's why doctors shouldn't work isolated. They should work in communication with more doctors. The problem is when they find easier to diagnose with things like fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression and time passing by the patient getting worse without the right diagnosis.
They WERE ruling it out. What do you want a Doctor to say when a 29-year-old is having these symptoms? Oh my gosh! You’re probably going to die of cancer! Is that what you want to hear as a patient? It is so incredibly rare at the age of 29 do you have colon cancer. When one goes to urgent care it is Not the type of practice that will rule out serious conditions. It would have served her much better without insurance to go straight to the emergency room where they would have done an exam, and at the very least some sort of a scan or ultrasound. For who she chose to go to it was appropriate. Urgent care. Doctors always tell patients to follow up as soon as possible with a physician. Urgent care does not exist to diagnose patients with complicated diseases. Urgent care is simply there to buy a couple of days before the patient is to see their regular physician or the hospital by prescribing antibiotics or splinting a broken bone.
I'm from Canada and my mom was just diagnosed with rectal cancer. She's 67. Her mother had colon cancer and her brother had precancerous polyps removed. I'm 42 and just saw a gastroenterologist because I have had stomach issues for years and he told me I don't need a colonoscopy until 50. I pushed the issue and I am getting one in a week. So ridiculous how we have to fight so hard for our own health. They always stress how early detection is key and yet doctors don't want to do the testing.
When I was diagnosed with rectal cancer I was told my children should get their first colonoscopy when they turn 40. So you shouldn’t have to work so hard to get a colonoscopy at your age.
@roch145 My family doctor sent me to the specialist because he said it is good to get a colonoscopy now. My sister is 8 years younger than me and our doctor told her to go at 40. The specialist said they take the age your parent is when diagnosed and send you for one 10 years earlier. So that would put me at 57 but he said 50. So ridiculous. It's happening to younger people. I hope you are doing well.
@@SLP8107 There are many inconsistencies in the medical world. Unfortunately that means people have to push against the system every now and then in order to get their needs met. Despite the trend of younger people getting colon/rectal cancer, insurance companies and national health plans still go by probabilities and won’t approve colonoscopies for younger patients. I’m doing pretty well, I’ve been cancer free for 3.5 years. So I’m almost out of the woods for likely recurrence.
I hope your colonoscopy was negative. It really is a shame they wait until somebody turns 50, and in your case that you had to push the doctor to order the test, especially with your family history. How did everything go, if you don’t mind me asking.
This is the 100th time I’ve seen a video from this channel where a young person was reporting scary symptoms and was dismissed for years before they finally found out they had cancer. Cancer rates are higher than ever and in people who are very young, if someone has symptoms like this they should be tested just to make sure.
It's not only disgraceful, it's CRIMINAL. Ins. companies won't pay for colonoscopy till age 50. WIthout making person use precious time jumping through hoops, when they claim at age 50 we need one symptoms or not, TO CATCH IT EARLY. I could cry watching these videos.
@@michellehartford1124, that's not true. If there is a reason and a Dr prescribes it, the insurance will pay for it. What the insurance won't pay is that if you have no symptoms, but you want to do it, let's say anually for whatever the reason you want to have it done. I thinks it's silly for insurance not to pay for an $800 test, which in the long run it will cost a lot more if in a year or two from there you will end up with stage 4.
I wonder what stage it was. Plus, so many doctors have no sense of humanity. Many doctors dismiss or downplay young people who appear to be in good physical health which is sad. And colon cancer is on the rise among young people. Doctors need to LISTEN to their patients.
I hate the idea that young people “can’t be sick”. I saw a gastro who told me basically I’m too young for anything to be wrong with me. My coworker was dismissed by doctors for her symptoms and eventually ended up in the hospital being told she could have died if she waited longer to go and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in her early 20’s.. meanwhile doctors told her she was “too young” to have anything like that. It’s ridiculous.
Sickening. 20's is the age where it is often found. Then again later- 50's-60's. If yound people can't be sick why the hell would they ever bother going to an MD in the first place. WTF is this. Pediatrics, and skip to geriatrics????
Your story is very inspiring. I just recently turned 30 and was diagnosed with Chrohns recently. I’ve been asking my drs for years to check as I’ve had tons of digestive issues and other symptoms. They always wrote me off as nothing is wrong. I’m also active duty in the military so we get some of the worst medical care ever. I’ve been medically neglected for years as “I’m young”.
The toll it takes on the person's mental health in addition to the physical symptoms (in your case Chron's, which I also have and cannot imagine having it for years being not taken seriously. It can be debilitating, truly). I'm 33 now in my second year of med school after losing a friend to suicide who went for years to the doctor(s) trying to get to the bottom of their issues, and continually was dismissed. She had a tumor on her thyroid. Completely preventable situation, and likely highly treatable. She just needed one doctor to listen to her.
Alot of healthcare in this country is bad, not just military. I've been pooping blood for 3 weeks now, and my insurance turn down my colonoscopy request recently, so we are submitting again to try and get approval. And after or when I finally get it approved I don't know how long until I finally get in their, right now I can't really do anything but worry and stress and Google my symptoms
The damage done by medical gaslighting of often the worst part of a diagnosis. I was also nearly driven to crazy after chasing my diagnosis for 7 months.
i was told i needed to lose weight😅 like.....i felt so dismissed by doctors simply bc the color of my skin...i wanted a screening last year and was ignored. got told to lose weight. granted im 185 and could prob lose about 10lbs BUT im very active. good muscle etc. my weight wasnt the problem for my butt bleeding you know😅😂 im physically active, vegan, and hardly ever drink...why is my butt bleeding and my stool skinny bro😂😂 some doctors need to get it together lol
The amount of times I have heard this where dr's assume it's a "fissure" or "hemorrhoids" and they "think" it can't be cancer. Since you're dealing with peoples lives this is totally unacceptable, it makes sense, especially when there is blood, to be on the side of caution and do a colonoscopy.
It's very strange now how everyone who gets blood work tested it always seems to come back ok but later on Drs find Cancer, it's happening way too often for some reason
Because they only do the most basic lab tests. Insurance doesn't want to/won't cover anything else. There are more cancer markers to run but they don't.
I’m so sorry. All of those doctors failed you. I need them to stop dismissing people. We all know our own bodies better than anything. The majority of people are not fishing for an illness. This has to stop! I’m glad you finally got a proper diagnosis. Wishing you all the best!
Blood from any orifice should be thoroughly investigated. Shame on that doctor assuming with clinical clues like that. I am so tired of doctors dismissing patients bc they are young, pretty, fit, etc. I went through this, and it needs to stop! I was dismissed for 2 years because"I looked good." They didn't take me seriously until I was 50 lbs. lighter and looked like something was terribly wrong. I told them I don't care that my "labs are normal" and I "look healthy" I know my body and I knew I was sick!
My heart hurts for these beautiful people. My baby sister at 35 died in 5 months (colon, liver + lung cancers) she never smoked or barely drank alcohol....it was Stage 4 when we found out, a little too late🥺
It seems to me that the one thing that so many (too many) of these people have in common is being waved off by one doctor or another…doctors need to get a handle on what’s happening in healthcare!
That's really scary.I had all the symptoms of colon cancer and spent months worrying about it, had all possible tests including colonoscopy and all were normal but every time I see stpries like this one I freak out and go bck to think that I have something that was missed by all tests.
Not to scare you, but my mom had over 100 thousand dollars worth of tests which said no problems. She was finally diagnosed by a doctor who never saw her, with his FINGERS. She passed 3 weeks later. It was everywhere. Those tests are archaic and not accurate many many times. Follow up with other doctors if your symptoms persist. ❤️
Yes, the food we are eating these days is mostly processed and we are seeing this more and more. My father dies at the age of 40 of Colin Cancer in early 2000. He lived just 2 months after diagnosis.
Lots do they can't be arsed get paid very very well almost playing god your not there family or close friends. Odd one here and there is caring and trys by nature I guess after a while they get complacent and bored or might be in a funny mood the day you see them
You need to be checked Blood parasite called babesiosis. Babesiosis is the number one cause of inflammatory breast cancer in the entire world. Doctors do not test for it because it has an 80% failure rate. The failure rate is so high because they mistake the parasite inside the red blood cell as the nucleus. The lab technicians forget that red blood cells do not have a nucleus, they give their findings to the lab physician, and the physician just simply signs off on it. Go see a very good infectious disease doctor. If you have headaches, stabbing heart pain, I mean anemia. Fatigue or any other unusual symptom, get tested and get tested more than once and talk about babesiosis with the infectious disease doctor. I had babesiosis, and I almost died from it.
With any medical illnesses no matter what go with your gut and find the right doctors until you find the right ones who will help you and figure out what's wrong. ❤
I’m 21 and I was have chronic diarrhea for a month. My gi doctor immediately recommended a colonoscopy. They say everything is fine but they took tissue and waiting on a biopsy result. You know your body more than anyone always push yall!!!
We have hereditary bowel cancer in our family. My 60 yr old uncle died from it in 2000 and his death saved my mother as his siblings were all advised to have what our family call buttcams. So they found it in my mum and she had successful surgery with no chemo required. It was found again in 2016 and more surgery and she has a stoma bag and is cancer free at 87. My then 26 yr old son had to have a colonoscopy for an unrelated issue and they found numerous pre cancerous polyps in him. The surgeon was genuinely surprised considering his age and said that he would have had bowel cancer by his mid 30’s if they hadn’t found it when they did. So now, all of the grandchildren have to have buttcams as well as us as we and the specialists never realised that they were at risk due to their age. I am due for another one and as I get older I do feel a slight fear beforehand. I wish you all the best and send you much love from Australia.
I was getting similar comments about "your young and healthy", but they were trying to convince me that I needed colon cancer surgery cuz I just wasn't understanding. I wasn't seeing blood in my stool but my stool test showed it. I've been having mild IBS for a long time and stomach issues. Mine was stage one but I needed to get surgery right away after my first colonoscopy. So far all clear after 8 months, prayers for your journey
The “you’re too young” blowoff is infuriating. They dismissed me too and I was stage 3 colorectal cancer when finally diagnosed at age 45. In my 20’s, I remember another nurse told me I was “young” when I called to inquire about a medication that I didn’t think was working for a staph infection. My reply to her: “Ma’am, the infection doesn’t care how old I am.” 😉
My colon cancer was wrongly diagnosed as renal cancer and I unnecessarily underwent a surgery nephrectomy. The bleeding did not stop and a year later I was diagnosed with colon cancer
At 42 I had blood on my toilet paper. I worked at a high end rehab facility and made an appt with a GI guy. I had a colonoscopy on Thursday, diagnosed on Friday, received a port on Monday and started chemo/radiation the following Monday. My point is, a good doctor makes all the difference.
It's quite disturbing the rate of young people who are coming down with diseases typically seen in older folks. It's even more disturbing when a patient tries to get help and is dismissed. Utter disgrace.
What the ER told me was anxiety (I've never had anxiety issues) ended up being blood transfusions, surgeries, and countless doctors tests and horrible horrible days... don't give up on your own health!
Thanks for sharing your story you are very brave i would like to tell you to be strong keep up your hope and have faith but I myself maybe dealing with this losing hope and scared it's all in the Most High hands
Been about 2 weeks now, where I have a constantly gurgling stomach 😕. I’m 33 years old, and this is new. Recently I ate a bunch of pork fried rice and I think I had a blockage in my intestines. It wasn’t gas, it was like 36 hours later after the pint of pork fried rice. I had extreme pain and a crazy gurgling in my lower abdomen, bloating. When the pain finally subsides my stomach was making the craziest noises I’ve ever heard. Doctor/hospital check up soon. I’m a high anxiety person. I’ve had stomach troubles for 5 years and just assumed it was anxiety. I’m a little worried now🙏 I can’t die, I care for 9 street cats who would be lost without me. Who’s gonna feed them, love on them, give them churu, etc. for most of them, I’m the only human who can touch them. It’s not like I can just find them homes they’re not fit for hones. They’re feral cats who I spent 3 + years to gain their trust. They’re imprinted on me and they NEED me
@@LoganRegina7777 funny update actually🤣👏 I’m just lactose intolerant.. I didn’t know. So basically I just perpetually had gas 🤣🙏 cause I was eating hella dairy. Good problem in the long run.
@@troyrussell177did you have a lot of gas with the gurgling? I’ve been slowly going through testing and really my only symptoms are gurgling stomach and lots of gas.
Im in Canada, im 70 female, still working pt, volunteering and I think Im a carpenter doing my own home renos but I began slowing down. I wasnt feeling up to snuff for about a year. I started taking naps, feeling fatique. I would feel dizzy and weak, Id feel my heart palpating. I assumed i was diabetic because if I ate something and usually with coffee the dizxy nausea it went away (coffee and food spikes my blood pressure). I also assumed it was just old age. In the meantime I was vomiting, diarrhea, pooping several times a day, then constipation, repeat. I live very rural, in the mountains, doctors about an hour and half away and I never had a doctor, rarely had a need. One day while visiting relatives in the city I went to a doctor, told him my problems and I was overdue for a thyroid ultrasound. And I chalked my issues up to my thyroid acting up (9 nodules) or maybe diabetic. This young doctor was excellent, he gave me a few sheets of paper to have a battery of tests done. He took my blood pressure and said it was very low giving no explanation other than "do you feel dizzy." Results come back within a few days, he call me. My FIT came back with blood, he said I had colin cancer. My hemoglobin was very low and my heart had an extra beat (old age thing). He referred me to the Cancer Clinic for a regular colinoscopy screening. They rejected me bc of my symptoms. I had to have a referral to a surgeon to do it. Got that quickly. If the surgeon finds something (other than polyps) they will operate then on the colon possibly removing a section. They dont wait! He suspects a hole in my colon. Colonoscopy booked, just waiting! All this was done by phone calls or emails, only once did I visit the doctor's office. Actually very efficient and convenient!
I lost my Mom to stage 4 colon cancer. She was first diagnosed at age 54 and underwent an experimental treatment which was just a monthly injection. It worked and she was in remission for 12 years. But unfortunately it came back aggressively as metestatic cancer and she passed at age 69.
Was an iron panel done? Ferritin? CEA? I am hoping this young lady is ok and I praise her for telling her story so other folks will be vigilant with their health and symptoms, regardless of age.
I listen to a young woman on socials who is dying from lung cancer say she wish she had just lied and told them, “yeah my uncle Bob had lung cancer!” Thinking she would have gotten her care much sooner.
I have Metastasized Rectal Carcinoma stage 4 and I was overlooked for Hemorrhoid's and I need to lose weight, 2 years later my symptoms got worse and I Colonoscopy which reveled I had Rectal cancer, I also spoke with the oncologist which I discovered that I had it spread to the Liver. I was put at stage 4. Hearing this story makes my blood boil because I was medically gaslighted as well. I know what she went through and its frustrating when Doctors don't wanna take that next step to figuring out whats wrong with you. All I can i hope and pray for is that someday I will live a normal life again and be cancer free. Being 38 it hits hard at a younger age.
What is wrong with all medical staff that do blood tests and all comes back fine and then discover later, often sadly too late for some that Cancer is present. I've been seeing blood in poop for about 3 years ,I've had two Colonoscopys now and in UK no mention of being put to sleep I've had to be awake and both times I found it horrendously painful, but nothing found except Diverticular disease, which has become Diverticulitis since having procedure in Jan this year, I've been in Hospital 5 times as an emergency as I was crippled up in tummy pain, just given painkillers and antibiotics and told to go home except for one time I was seen by a Consultant that said I can fix this, cut your colon and put you on a Stoma bag!!! Yippie was I supposed to be excited ?? No b. Way I was scared as hell, and took the painkillers and went home , No way do I want to be cut about or have a Stoma bag. I want to learn to manage my condition if that's all it is, but who really knows as the medical staff often get it wrong. I know something isn't right with my body. I guess I will have to keep on speaking to my GP about my symptoms. Good luck to everyone going through this stuff.
2022 April I rushed a fantastic doctor, colon specialist! He treated delicately, checked everything, then announced it is anal fissure. 6 weeks later again carefully checked New year time he will perform colonoscopy Via looking to face, you can not make diagnostics. Get well please, wishing you great health!
This story makes me sooooo mad-how the medical people dismissed her for so long 😡 with such blatant symptoms. What state is this? I live in Silicon Valley with excellent medical choices, plus I was in healthcare myself. Horrible what she went through. Same on them!
I wonder if these doctors that dismiss patient’s concerns, change their practice when they find out that their patients worrying & insistence was indeed warranted? Do they now run the tests, investigate earlier etc ? People know their bodies. Doctors should take that into consideration.
I am so sorry you suffered for so long before getting an accurate diagnosis. Wishing nothing but good health and happiness to you going forward.❤️To the medical community: Since when is chronic constipation and bleeding from the rectum common? The medical care in this country is sub standard. As doctors you need to do so much better.
Doctors need to STOP with the: Too young It’s all in your head, seek therapy. It’s a horse not a zebra. People know their own bodies. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS.
I have the same symptons: gurgly stomach, bleeding. I suffer from Chron's since i was 7 years old and had two surgeries already to remove most of my colon. With what I'm dealing with, i think that colon cancer is a possibility
MY GOD DOCTOR’S NEED TO UNDERSTAND WE KNOW OUR BODIES BETTER THAN THEY DO. THEY NEED TO STOP BRUSHING US OFF. ITS RIDICULOUS AND IT’S UNFAIR. I DO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. WE STILL HAVE TO ADVOCATE FOR OURSELVES. LOTS OF LOVE ❤️
I’ve been waiting for 13 months to see a specialist for the issues I am having with bowels. My doctor admits he has no idea what is causing my symptoms so I’ve been worried sick for a year while waiting to see someone to find out what’s going on and all while my symptoms are getting worse. I’m sorry that you had to wait also.
@@covfefe1787 he’s done a mri a gastro specialist finally got my app with them had the mri last week now waiting on results they said a colonoscopy be next if this doesn’t show anything

Exactly same my doctor told i am having "psychological intervention " .not I am trying to get second second opinion. But grandmother passed with same symptoms.
I’m legit crying, I can’t believe how many women my age are going through what I’m going through,I’m so scared it’s so hard to keep it together being a single mom with little to no family, my worst fear was to either grow old alone or die alone. My symptoms have been insane and put off for so long I finally gave up, it’s been about 2 1/2 years, that I recognized the symptoms, I went thru 6 non successful colonoscopies due to not being able to finish the drink for the prep nor the strict diet they had me on because of being so impacted and constipated my colon was never clean, + my DR is the wost Gastro in my town, but he’s the only one that took my case with my insurance (welfare) he’s got nothing but bad reviews, but I honestly blame my primary DR for always dismissing my severe symptoms
So sorry that no one listened to you. I know of several people who went thru those exact steps of being ignored until it was too late. Having survived cancer, I keep saying, don't be afraid of what they find, be afraid of what they don't find. Doctors are irresponsible with women in particular. It's stress, it's emotional. Do men get that crap? No. Every dr that rejected your concerns should be notified and perhaps, just perhaps their behavior might change and they might save someone instead of ignoring patients.
Why... so many young people with cancer! I'm so very sorry you're having to deal with this!!! And what's more is of all these young people I've heard of... everyone I've seen and heard of have all been otherwise very health conscious and were so healthy before their diagnosis... 😞 I'm so sorry, sweetie... sending prayers from Maine... 💕💕💕💕💕
Because we no longer eat real food. When you look at the ingredients in the foods that we buy in the supermarkets, the chemical additives for preservation or even flavour, it is no longer just food. Too much processing.
@jouezmoi I understand that, and 100% agree... but at least 3 or 4 of the people I watched were vegan. I suppose nothing is safe... it's also in the water, the air... everywhere. No escape... we're probably all doomed.
I think it's time to stop giving our hard earned money to large super markets and either start shopping at our local farmers market for fresh fruits and vegetables or to start growing our own food. We can start small like growing herbs and fruits and vegetables and having indoor aero gardens if you live in colder regions of the country.
i have been having "IBS-D" for seven years. it hit me randomly and out of no where, but it has been horrible ever since that first "flair". Urgency, painful cramps that even wake me up from sleep. a couple ulcers seen during colonoscopy so they shrugged it off as caused by NSAIDs. BMs are always loose, jump between diarrhea and constipation but even when im consitpated the BM eventually comes out and it is still loose! makes no sense. lately my BMs have been maroon in color and occasionally VERY green, and not from anything new eaten in diet. For a year there has been a fleshy lump on the outside of my rectum, its not a hemmorhoid, i have however dealt with those also for years and thats their go to to blame the blood and pain... anyways, the lump formed when i thought i had a fissure. the pain was so unreal i would shake if i tried to bear down to pass BM, it felt like it was tearing, it too months to heal and a lot of OTC products and creativity on my end bc it took foreven to get into a colorectal surgeon,... i canceled the appt bc by the time it came up i was so defeated. the lump is entirely different than my experience with hemorrhoids. and recently it has been worsening, becoming larger and my rectum is inflammed, stinging and in pain, and the internal muscles feel swollen. Blood in my stools for years. Excessive mucous. even When i pass gas mucus will come out. I feel full very fast when I eat, if i even have an appetite, and if i do eat then after within 15 to 30 min, i have to get to a toilet urgently. Always fatigued, always feeling weak and lethargic, always anxious, constantly nauseated, puke almost daily, and my stomach hurts so bad at times with was feels like a ball on the lower left quadrant..... something is wrong, i just know it. but the doctors just wont help. They wont listen. Im told "youre too young for that", and "maybe if you lose 15 lbs', "its just behavioral"..,, I can't do it anymore.. its to the point when i decided i will just deal with it until i am literally on my death bed and hope maybe they will have some sense of regret and learn from it.. but thats unlikely. I just want to be healthy and normal and not feel sick all the time. at this point i just dont know what to do. im 32, i have kids and a home and Im an RN, and going to school. I am scared for my health. I dont have health insurance at the moment for myself.
In Singapore if you have blood . Definitely Dr will do the colonoscopy in few days . Ask Dr if you can do complete stool test as well do the blood test .
We don't go to the doctor to hear "It’s probably..." or "I don't think...". We can stay home and say that to ourselves. Doctors need to act like they finished medical school.
The problem is doctors get a biased training from a 7th Day Adventist agenda and told to prescribe meds due to big Pharma agenda as well. The major issue is companies like Mr. Kellogg’s company were designed to replace natural fatty meats like bacon and eggs so human hormones would be damaged. They pushed grains and fiber to make money but it has damaged human health and the colon is not built to process all that. Carnivore is healing people and proves we don’t need fiber or any plants. I have been carnivore for a year and 4 month, had IBS for years before and it reversed and no more constipation! No gas and no more bloating! Every one on carnivore sees same results too! Fiber is harming human colons, same with vegetable oils! But plants in general, as fiber, vegetable oils, and plant sugars cause all this mess!
Probably no apology from those health care providers that didn’t take you seriously. It’s so hard to advocate for yourself when they don’t want to hear it.
Please read. Will be fine. My father was a strong man and after he had surgery for colon-rectal cancer, he died after a lot of suffering in about three months. The doctor thought I had the same cancer and wanted to operate on me. As I had already studied a lot about cancer, I refused the operation. The doctor told me that I will be back in six months. But 14 years of a very active life have passed. If you want to beat the cancer: 1. Chemotherapy means that you destroy not only your cancer cells, but also many healthy cells, which you need. A very bad thing is that it may destroy your immune system, the one that tells the body when you have cancer and that knows how to fight cancer. 2. Radiotherapy is well known to cause cancer. The underlying idea is that cancer cells will die. it's true, it destroys them. But it can also turn healthy cells into new cancer cells. There is some hope if you follow radiation therapy with doses of radiation very precise targeted at the cancer. 3. Surgery is a solution, but it often spreads the cancer to other parts and thus creates new cancers. What can you do: 1. Prayer to God. Yes, God really exists. And He asks us to love Him, people and do good deeds. 2. To search very persistently for our sins and mistakes. Don't look for excuses, they only have value if God considers that you deserve to be forgiven. Don’t hide yourself behind excuses like “I didn’t anything to do” or “Others did too”. I searched for my sins and mistakes for several months. 3. Stop eating meat and sweets. It is easier that you think! 4. Daily, up to half a liter of beetroot juice. 5. Seeds of all kinds. 6. Cancer is not a tragedy. Fight calmly. Moderate action. 7. It would be very good if you have the strength to follow the treatment of Rudolf Breuss. Sure you can. Help her, please God, to be healthy!
I'm going through this right now and am on my 3rd Colorectal surgeon and so far they are telling me I do not have cancer after having g rectal cancer in 2017. I feel Doctors only care about the money and not the patient
If youve got ongoing IBS-like symptoms, by all means explore IBS, but PLEASE go for an endoscopy & colonoscopy asap. My colon cancer (Stage 2) imitated IBS symptoms perfectly. If there is any blood, go get tested immediately. If youve got haemorrhoids, you'll be able to see them.
Thats really sad..In India we got colonoscopy schedules in a day or two..being a developing country thats really good..i hope you are fine..such a nice girl you are.❤
I think people should ask for a copy of the medical journal or study that shows if you are sad or stressed, blood may start pouring out of your rectum. I want to see that one. Any doctor that tells you that your bleeding is probably stress, needs to have their license revoked or they should at least have to back to medical school and try again. I would also call all of those doctor's offices to let them know they dismissed my cancer. Maybe you can save the next person.
28 no history or IBD diagnosed with 2c after year plus of symptoms. Had to wait months to see a doctor then months to see GI constantly reassured just constipation or IBD. Finally got a CT scan because of alot of pain (diverticulitis) which showed a 7cm "abscess" Got abscess attempted to be drained. Wouldn't drain and what came out tested positive for Strep which is a big indicator of CCancer. Still told likely not cancer sent home with a JP Drain... Had to go back into the ER a week later because I went septic... Got "abscess" removed and turned out to be Cancerous. Getting ready for Chemo now in a few weeks.
First syntoms some months after jabs right? I am injured from 2nd dose of pfizer... Many people got cancer after jabs...and doctors know it but they ll never tell it. Because they lied abut safety.
Please note the following is just what I’ve learned from researching this, but please fact check on your own and if you experience anything suggestive of a bowel issue, please see your doctor: It can be blood mixed with the stool itself (I.e. when you look at the stool itself, you might see small patches of red/maroon blood), blood when you wipe (so it might be just blood on its own or smears of poop mixed with blood), or it can be just blood alone in the toilet bowl with no poop or poop in the toilet bowl but separate from the blood in the toilet water around it.
If urgent care did not check for exam how would the doctor know it was a hemorrhoid or fissure? She should have gone to Emergency. They would have done an exam & further scans when the exam was negative for fissures & hemorrhoids. Colon cancer at that age is so extremely rare. I know someone that had no symptoms at all, but turned 50 & her doctor recommended a colonoscopy that she scheduled right away & she already had stage 4 colon cancer. Thankfully, today- 6 years later, she is still well.
Because that’s not Urgent Care’s job. They don’t have the equipment to do testing like that. Urgent Care is just that. Immediate Care UNTIL one can see their regular doctor. Urgent Care always refers patients to their regular doctor.
The worst part of the US health system is that, you will have symptoms ,you will have pains but they will schedule an appointment for you 2 or 3 months later....it doesn't make sense at all....why you do this to people??? You take tons of money from them but still delay their treatments and diagnosis to make it worse and untreatable for them...
If u need a colonoscopy, and have symptoms that don’t go away, call your local hospital, get a doctor’s order for a scope (and get to a gastro doc), and the hospital billing department will work with u on the biking/costs. Also, call the ACS for help with financial and questions. Great nurses there will guide u…
My 86 yrs old mother 🧑 s going thru chemo and twice treatment had to be delayed due to low platelets. Any advice for us please? How to boost it quickly?
Hi I just started a clinical trial for oral medication to raise platelets. I'm at mass general in boston but there are 5 other hospitals that are open. They are enrolling 10 patients per hospital. Also, pineapple can increase platelets.
I'm from Italy and even here you have to beg doctors for tests, even though you pay every month the insurance company. Your only chance is to find a private doctor who will give you colonoscopy or other tests you need, and faster. ⚠️
The medical system is broken. My dad had severe stomach pain. Then he became seriously constipated, every time he went to the doctor they would just prescribed him a bunch of meds. His stomach was huge(bloated). He said that he couldn’t eat anything and always has the urge to poop. They just have him laxatives, fiber, and more pain meds. After 8 months of this, he finally came across a good Dr. at the very basic clinic. He was the one that told him to go to the ER because his clinic was not equipped with the tools to treat him. He was very professional but didn’t mentioned anything about cancer until it was confirmed at the hospital. At this point he was diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer. Started Kemo right away and passed away 4 months later.
Mood cannot cause that much damage. I knew someone whose father had died. At the funeral, she told one of his friends, a dentist, about it. She went and saw him, got an xray, was told it was nothing, just depression. A second dentist said same (fresh xrays), and dismissed her. Both dentists gave her pain medication since she was in EXTREME pain. Months later, (still in pain) one of her customers, a nurse (my friend was a hairdresser), saw how swollen her face and neck were. SHe demanded the woman see her doctor. He sent her to a dentist IMMEDIATELY. She brought her xrays, and the guy shook his head and said "this guy couldn't see this"!! Abscessed tooth. WHich can be FATAL. And supposedly nearly was in her case. Dentist couldn't even do anything till she was on heavy antibiotics for a few days. BTW, this girl had a toothpaste commercial smile. PERFECT teeth. Except for that one.
I'm 70 y.o. If I go to the MD for an ingrown toenail, they'd want to give me a colonoscopy. Why the hell don't they do it for people of ANY age with multiple, continuous symptoms!!! It's disgraceful. Seems like they just don't want to do their jobs!!
Something needs to change! Doctors need to stop with the assumption that it is anxiety or depression. Everything physical should be ruled out first.
Or they say "fibromyalgia". 🙄
They should start being held accountable, sued and have their license suspended and reevaluated.
Thank you. I'm so sorry to hear you have it so young. I pray everything goes well for you.
I had blood come up on the toilet paper because I pushed to hard! I ate more fiber and drank more water and it went away!
@@alyssaalyssa2058 Insurance is a scam
I’ve heard blood work is often normal until you’re stage 4 and it’s spread. Bloodwork is useless early on.
I wonder what stage it was. Plus, so many doctors have no sense of humanity. Many doctors dismiss or downplay young people who appear to be in good physical health which is sad. And colon cancer is on the rise among young people. Doctors need to LISTEN to their patients.
Sometimes I think doctors are in denial.
At the beginning it says 2A. I assume that’s the stage she was in at diagnosis.
Just visited a doctor today. When its my turn, he said when he called my name, oh what’s matter, you’re young.
Am 29 and i me daignosed with right hemiclon cancer i done my surgey ...🙏🙏🙏now am fighting cure
Good job for not giving up and pursuing this until you were heard. I wish you the best outcome possible.
The damage done by medical gaslighting of often the worst part of a diagnosis. I was also nearly driven to crazy after chasing my diagnosis for 7 months.
I am so sorry this happened to you. We have to be our own advocates.

@@smitty2stonedLol Doctors don’t tell you to lose weight if it’s just 10lbs 😂😂😂 And doctors dismiss everyone, it ain’t the color of your skin
@@sj9410hi, could you please mention some of the specific names of the blood tests that should be done for cancer?

Thank you for sharing this story. I pray that this young woman is doing OK now and receiving the treatment she needs.
This is the first time I hear the medical field blow off rectal bleeding as grief!!! What the hell!
Yes,I didn’t know a symptom of grief was rectal bleeding😅
My heart hurts for these beautiful people. My baby sister at 35 died in 5 months (colon, liver + lung cancers) she never smoked or barely drank alcohol....it was Stage 4 when we found out, a little too late🥺
That sounds like a genetic syndrome. My brother died from rectal cancer at 58.
🙏🙏😭
How about her diet? It is not just about smoking or drinking. It's the overall lifestyle
My sister just found out she is stage 4 also and same thing… these medical Mormons blew her off.
🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭

It's a disadvantage to be young when you have a serious disease because most doctors just disregard your symptoms as psychiatric or imaginary.
Just because somebody is young doesn’t mean they don’t have cancer and doctors should know better!
Yes, the food we are eating these days is mostly processed and we are seeing this more and more. My father dies at the age of 40 of Colin Cancer in early 2000. He lived just 2 months after diagnosis.

Thanks so much *MR OBALAR* on RUclips for curing me from Herpes, keep saving lives.😊❤

Praying for you God is our doctor

That sounds like a lawsuit
At 42 I had blood on my toilet paper. I worked at a high end rehab facility and made an appt with a GI guy. I had a colonoscopy on Thursday, diagnosed on Friday, received a port on Monday and started chemo/radiation the following Monday. My point is, a good doctor makes all the difference.

He took my blood pressure and said it was very low giving no explanation other than "do you feel dizzy."
Results come back within a few days, he call me.

That's right
I think it's time to stop giving our hard earned money to large super markets and either start shopping at our local farmers market for fresh fruits and vegetables or to start growing our own food. We can start small like growing herbs and fruits and vegetables and having indoor aero gardens if you live in colder regions of the country.
@@pallavisreetambraparni6995 agree!
Sorry to hear this
Thanks so much *MR OBALAR* on RUclips for curing me from Herpes, keep saving lives.😊❤
i have been having "IBS-D" for seven years. it hit me randomly and out of no where, but it has been horrible ever since that first "flair".
Im told "youre too young for that", and "maybe if you lose 15 lbs', "its just behavioral"..,,
I can't do it anymore.. its to the point when i decided i will just deal with it until i am literally on my death bed and hope maybe they will have some sense of regret and learn from it.. but thats unlikely. I just want to be healthy and normal and not feel sick all the time. at this point i just dont know what to do. im 32, i have kids and a home and Im an RN, and going to school. I am scared for my health. I dont have health insurance at the moment for myself.
Have you tried going carnivore? A complete elimination diet. No dairy, no grains, no fruits or vegetables. NO SUGAR. Pure meat and fast consistently.
Please get health insurance darling look after yourself and insist on getting the right test and diagnosis
In Singapore if you have blood . Definitely Dr will do the colonoscopy in few days . Ask Dr if you can do complete stool test as well do the blood test .
Stool tes and blood test is acurate ?

Just made my appointment. 🙏🏼
unbelievable that the doctors didnt search for origin of blood sooner
Probably no apology from those health care providers that didn’t take you seriously. It’s so hard to advocate for yourself when they don’t want to hear it.
Please read. Will be fine.
My father was a strong man and after he had surgery for colon-rectal cancer, he died after a lot of suffering in about three months.
The doctor thought I had the same cancer and wanted to operate on me. As I had already studied a lot about cancer, I refused the operation. The doctor told me that I will be back in six months. But 14 years of a very active life have passed.
If you want to beat the cancer:
What can you do:
And that is helpful how? What an idiotic comment
I'm going through this right now and am on my 3rd Colorectal surgeon and so far they are telling me I do not have cancer after having g rectal cancer in 2017. I feel Doctors only care about the money and not the patient

Is there ever an update on these people? I’d love to know how they are doing
Please let us know the Stage and your RESULTS !! Hope ALL going well with you 🙏❤️
Thank you for sharing your story. Im waiting for my Biopsy report. Im not feeling the best about it all to say the lease
How did it go my friend
update please for dear Amanda ? 🙏💛
💀
She died??
How ironic them saying "we are praying for you" when all these months they did nothing.
UPDATE PLEASE ???? 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
For all the troubles we Canadians face...medical approval and billing isn't a thing.
I cannot imagine your system.Absolutely terrifying
How does bleeding look like? Is it like bright red drops of blood with the stool or something else?
No it’s actually very common in modern medicine
Because that’s not Urgent Care’s job. They don’t have the equipment to do testing like that. Urgent Care is just that. Immediate Care UNTIL one can see their regular doctor.
Urgent Care always refers patients to their regular doctor.
Hope your doing well now
The worst part of the US health system is that, you will have symptoms ,you will have pains but they will schedule an appointment for you 2 or 3 months later....it doesn't make sense at all....why you do this to people??? You take tons of money from them but still delay their treatments and diagnosis to make it worse and untreatable for them...
Where is the rest of the story?
yes 🙏🙏🙏
Six months bleeding into the toilet and the doctors just shrugged it off?????
I don't believe her when she says the doctors just Shrugged It Off
@@PerryNight-gc3fp Perhaps you are right.
Doctors may treat you differently depending on how good your insurance is.
@@ajchovanecThat is 110% true.
Did you check for HPV?
God bless truly❤
If u need a colonoscopy, and have symptoms that don’t go away, call your local hospital, get a doctor’s order for a scope (and get to a gastro doc), and the hospital billing department will work with u on the biking/costs. Also, call the ACS for help with financial and questions. Great nurses there will guide u…
Amanda is so brave and cool… I would have blown a gasket with every single incompetent moronic doctor I encountered

Those son of a guns!!😡😡 I hate when they try to pull the whole psychosomatic female bullcrap. I’m so sorry that happened to you. ❤
Why are you sorry I'm not sorry I don't believe her story when she says the doctors just said it was nothing
So sorry 😣
Well, I would like to know how she turned out!
Thanks so much *MR OBALAR* on RUclips for curing me from Herpes, keep saving lives.😊❤
