Absolutely loved this 💖💖💖💖💖
I'm so excited about this series! Care guides are the best. Thank you for all the great info
@@themantisgarden aw! I'm super flattered 😊
You should come to the streams more in the evenings.
@@themantisgarden I will do that!
Try Marks stream tomorrow night, just say hi a few times and keep your fingers crossed I'm there because I will spam them to share your channel 😂
This video made me chuckle at least twice, well done..
Great series 😊
If I can tickle your ivories then I must be doing something right!
I was never really that interested into mantids/mantises, but I keep watching your videos and I am getting more and more keen on keeping them myself. Keep up the great work Simon!
Well, when you do come over to the dark side you know where I am lol
@@themantisgarden I'll most likely be looking to grab some of them off you, will you be at the Coventry show by any chance? I'll get you some tarantulas if you're there 😉
Nope. I don't go that far South lol Not unless bound and gagged and in the back of a van 😂
Informative video simon, im loving the mantis the more i see them, i walked around Cyprus with a dying mantis on my t shirt cos i didnt want anything bad happening to it, ah, the start of my love for them i guess lol
Lol I still do that with mine. It saddens me when they're going but there is always something new happening here to take my mind off it. As one light goes out, another springs up. Nature I guess
Nice one, Simon, so my guess was not so wild after all 😂
Lol
Nice video, great series. I noticed that mine has purple/pink eyes you ever had that with one of yours? But she is hunting really good and efficient so I guess she can see quite good.
Yes, it's because of the light. Their eyes change colour quite a lot. Go in and see them at night when they've been in the dark for a while for a surprise lol
Cracking video dude
Thank you!
Flying squirrels!
Were u pinching your nose you sound like a flight attendent in this one great video tho ❤❤
I guess the equalizer was a bit much lol I sounded like Joe Pasquali when I first played it back so put the equalizer on it lol
Would love a video on the photina sp (french guyana) mantis . Probably the weirdest species ive kept recently and its near impossible to find any information on them .
And I would really love a photina sp ! I couldn't do a video for I have no footage because I don't have that species. I know the one you mean though, looks very much like a cross between the lineola and an Affinis in shape. Maybe one day I will see some available and get myself a few ;)
@@themantisgarden no problems but yeah those are the ones . My female had almost blue spots on her raptorials and a stance halfway between a rhombodera and an orchid it just looks strange lmao . Great vid as always 😊
@@themantisgarden also got myself a rhombodera kirbyi on your recommendation and I am not disappointed 👍. Edit I could never be disappointed in a mantis lol .
Lmao, I was just thinking this myself. They are a super mantis though, should have given me a shout. I had loads of them lol
