Pretty sure it's Artemiev bcz he was barely above 2700 during Gashimov so falling 2600 makes sense. Also he is Russian. He is young (only 26) that's why I didn't guess him first but he fits the bill. Also bcz others in Gashimov 2024 were Nepo who was included already, Mamedyrov,Nodirbek who are 2700 players & we would have known the name if they said it , Mamedov, Suleymnali are another Azarbaijan player but in 2600 & all Azerbaijani players are chill, last one was Aravindh and he was close to 2700 but still not 2700 and also that was his first tournament on invite so he is too young & also Indians too don't get involved in controversy.@@BongelaMnguni

Before Kasparov, we had other legendary players like Karpov, Fischer, Spassky, Petrosian, Tal. Since Kramnik we got Anand who made chess interesting again, until Carlsen came and made chess what it is today.
Kramnik is what Ding is today. All respect to Ding, but everyone knows Ding is not a real WC. This does not sound good, but with all due respect: Ding is a placeholder. WC has lost its meaning atm. Ding's achievement might be the first WC to perhaps drop out of the 2700+ club. He is 29 points from falling under 2700 at the time of writing this.
Sorry, but not sorry. This is not about undermining Kramnik. It is stating the obvious about the chessplayer Kramnik.
@axel_r_ it's not out of pocket to say that Ding is a placeholder (but still a hell of a player). We all know that he only won cause Carlsen didn't compete.
As for Kramnik, I also find it rich that he keeps calling cheating since he had his own controversy by having a few too many bathroom breaks in a tournament.
@@steve83669 Top 10 all time is ridiculous. He is not in the same company as Carlsen, Steinitz, Fischer, Morphy, Capablanca, Tal, Kasparov, Karpov, Petrosian, Spassky, and Anand. When the next crop of players (Niemann, Gukesh, Erigiasi, Pragg, Firouzja etc.) all hit their strides he will be long forgotten/ignored.
@@axel_r_ Kramnik was #1 in the world, was a 3 time world champion, beating Garry Kasparov in 2000, revolutionized the Berlin defense, and has a peak rating of 2817, the 8th highest rating of all time, tied with Anand. Tell me why he is not a top 10 player of all time?
I hope Vlad proper implies Magnus next
This is BY FAR the BEST HIKARU video of all time, and it's not even close!
Hikaru went IN on this one DAMN
"He's a washed up former world champion who isn't that good at chess anymore and should shut the f**k up, that's actually what he should do"
BARS @14:20
You drive car Danya? Then you use engine...
Kramnik going after someone like Danya is just wild to me.
Accusing is a sign of projection in a lot of cases
As Hans did with his lawsuit.
Did you watch the video? He admitted to engine use during a game.
@@monikaperson99 It was several months of Hikaru, Magnus, and others accusing Hans of cheating OTB. Loud, obnoxious, and obviously wrong. Then Hikaru had strings of online wins that were statistically hard to justify, so Hikaru took great offense at anyone who understood the math based on Elo, cried about being targeted.
@@maus-v1t Is this a bot account? Clearly not listening for context.
@@eb8232 no context needed. it's always against the rules.
GOATed thumbnail. Idk how I instantly recognized the room from JCS's video "What Pretending to Be Crazy Looks Like." I had to go back and double check the video to see if the detective was the same lol. Thumbnail maker keep it up!
Danya is such a nice guy. Kramnik needs some kind of reprimand
22:56 PLEASE make this happen! I would love to see Hikaru humiliate Kramnik.
Literally applauded at 14:10
Daniel is an absolute class act. Yeah his instructive video trying to clarify the moves with a 1100 with an engine was bold but my goodness this man has been 2700 for a decade. He's clearly trying to teach.
Why did he even need to save time like that? The minutes it would take to end the game were so precious he felt the need to open the engine? And like Kramnik said, why would you need Stockfish to analyze a 1100 game? Shouldn't he have enough knowledge for that?
came here for the thumbnail absolute gem
I'd be equally surprised to learn Danya is a serial killer as to learn he is a cheater
Nah he kinda looks like one. Weird shifty eyes too. Creep.
I am checking the identikik pictures rn ... WTF!
You will never find a better thumbnail on RUclips than this one. 🤣🤣💥
I need to hear Hikaru talk more like this especially about Hans
This might be one of the greatest Hikaru vids of all time. Absolutely cooked.
1:45 Please educate me: Who is the „TopGM“ they are talking and laughing about, and what‘s the story behind that reference? Thanks!
Based on my little digging, I believe they are talking about Sasha Grischuk
@@BongelaMngunihe didn't play at gashimov
@Phoenix.219 Your analysis seems to be spot on. However, I still find it hard to believe that Artemiev would be involved in this kind of drama as he doesn't seem like a very talkative person. But I totally agree with your analysis.
@@BongelaMnguniI guess Grisschuk does not care either about the topic:)
Why is no one bringing up the Topalov incident from the 2006 WC match?
Bro killed him verbally in first 5 secs 😭
Cluster B Kramnik. He's so full of himself.
The Mafia is falling. Thank you, Mr Kramnik! 🤠
Hikaru is the man...absolutely love the fact that such an incredible player speaks his mind rather than hide behind slippery lexicon. Is such a breath of fresh air. We need this level of strength of character to stand up to the bullies of this world. Will be so sad when he eventually retires but that is the mark of any titan of any sport. I will just continue to enjoy watching him as long as I can.
Hikaru, it’s great you are standing up for Danya. Much respect. Tell it how it is.
"Troglodyte." Damn, Danya throwing language. Respect.
Come on people, we're just human. Go outside and touch grass and forget about this grumpy game!
Sorry, I usually play the "Grass invitation, declined variation"
"You are without a doubt the worst chess troll I've ever heard of."
"But you have heard of me?"
Kramnik's modus operandi is that he finds himself new victims to harass by threatening to tediously harm their reputation and expects it to be normalized that the eventual cleaning up of the messes he made for those people will be left to them and the communities supporting them, which then has to be done by publically defending against his claim and in result talking about him, fulfilling his desire for attention and renewed relevance. Kramnik's one vicious cycle.
Absolutely brilliant thumbnail! Whoever came up with that deserves a raise.
Hikaru was pissed! Respect.
Danya has taught me so much chess with his speed run videos, Kramnik is hurting the entire chess world with his accusations.
No one looks up to Kramnik today.
10:35 Danya deserves some hardcore motivational music here. He’s standing against giants showing he is a giant too and won’t back down. A true man. Kramnik comes off as a complete coward if you have a brain to think about this situation
It's good that Danya is so articulate and can defend himself so clearly. I hate to think what this sort of witch hunt would do to someone who's skills were only in chess.
I did not understand the eye Thing. Its so prevalent in chess, that the final Szene and basically the whole Magic in Queens Gambit was the fact she could see the board at the wall. Literally every player does it
Hearing Hikaru curse is satisfying
Cheating in modern chess started with "Toiletgate", starring Vladimir Kramnik.
Hikaru didn’t hold back! LOVE IT
Fantastic character assessment of Kramnik there.
Daniel getting attacked by his hero Kramnik reminds me of the time Paul Reubens accused me of stealing his idea for a breakfast cereal.
Kramnik making Hikaru quit chess is crazy
nah this is the best thumbnail yet
Perhaps Kramnik doesn't even know that all opponents in speedruns are refunded their elo
Kramnik’s a big dude. I’m not sure how well Danya would fare in chessboxing.
Kramnik is a troll....and yes, it takes one to know one LOL
Prime Kramnik vs Hikaru would've been something, but now it'd be something like Mike Tyson vs Anthony Joshua
I wanna see Kramik vs Witty Alien
Bebe will get accused of cheating because of - BRILLIANT
I'm am grateful to see this.. My thoughts are him and Hans are going to "make a new chess website". If i was a betting man, it's the only thing that makes even a lick of sense..
It can be bcz cheaters would know better than others how many ways you can cheat
@@Phoenix.219 I got a speeding ticket 25 years ago. I know many ways to speed. Makes so much sense.
I did enjoy hearing Danya’s responses. Some of us are still weighing the evidence and may be undecided. I need to see the next two parts of Vladimir’s latest videos. I appreciated this one though. Nice work!
Ahhhhhh Danya you're looking at the engine 🤔
kramnik wielding russian disinfo tactics is pretty funny
I think at this point Kramnik is trying to increases Daniel's average viwer count.
The funniest chess thumbnail in history...
Fischer-Kramnik Syndrome is real.
Fischer was way better than Kramnik.
The thumbnail is awesome 😂!
Hikaru out here defending the realm
Vladimir has got " Danya Derangement Syndrome....."
Greatest thumbnail in chess YT history.
He wouldn't like go, they cant explain any move
I’ve only been playing chess since August, has the chess world always been this tumultuous lmao
The thumbnail is fucking hilarious lmfaooo
You earned my like and sub within the first seven seconds of this video. Fucking facts.
Kramnik acting like the cheating spouse who projects their behaviour onto their partner -- seeing adultery everywhere.
Bro challenged Kramnik for a million dollar match.. bring on the popcorn...
Oh Daniel, confirm and deny nothing. Make Kram prove it.
Time to start the 'Hikaru Invitational Tournament' where everyone plays naked in a Faraday cage.
