Absolute legend mate! You'll never know how much you have helped me with my mental struggle... I would say you have actually saved my life.. I get out as much as I can, and every time I think of the way you do this.. thankyou haze for saving me :) much love bro! :)
Get yourself a dog if you can, mines helped me so much.
Much love to you bro! ❤️
As a native Texan camping in 110⁰F (43⁰C) is a chore but I swear by a wide brimmed hat, a sniper veil (you wet it and it can act like a swamp cooler when draped over you) and resting at peak hours 2pm-6pm. Hiking in the dark sucks but it's better than heat stroke.
Great video!
Always up for the hard grind ahead , and face it with failure is not an option , this is how everyone should go through life
But also don’t worry about giving up if it gets too much. Blind Yorkshire stubbornness will only get you so far (all the way to the end) 🥵🫶🤪
Cracking vid, you've captured just how hot it was. It was good to see you up there, so few of us on the hill.
I'm the bloke who shared water with you.
"Wild swimmin' 101, head in bog". Absolutely wonderful stuff!
Heat is so dangerous. Almost lost my husband to severe heatstroke in 2019. He was in a medically induced coma in ICU for two days because they couldn't get his temperature down. Made a miracle recovery, with no long lasting effects thankfully. Watching you just carrying on hiking in the heat was a bit stressful, but good of you that you recognised in time that you were about to cross your own limits.
Having the experience of someone I love getting a severe heatstroke made me very careful about getting out to hike in 25-30deg Celcius plus weather, especially in high humidity.
I was in southern France last week, with temperatures of 38+ deg Celcius, and only did a couple of strolls around shaded areas and towns. Too hot to do anything else.
And I'm in the Alps now, planning on doing a day hike on the first stretch of the Tour Du Mont Blanc. It's going to be about 26 degrees at midday (lots cooler than the past few weeks, thankfully), so I'm taking hydration stuff, at least 2.5 litres of water, and my water filter. Starting out at 7am. Wish me luck! :)
Anyway, great video. Carry on. 😊
Have fun! I'm off out tomorrow early. Temps have dropped in Cornwall so time to hit the coast path.
@johnny 71c Thanks 😊
@@ashmaybe9634 oooh! Nice! You have fun too! 😄
The heat is no joke.. have to respect it.
@@denzalwash4120 Definitely!
What every Sunday needs 👍
Hazey that looked brutal. Hats off to you for keeping going and i would be panicking if I was that low on water in that heat. Did my first solo camp last night and loved it. Keep up the adventures and entertainment,
Looking forward too this thanks 4 sharing 😊
Love that you take good care and share with all of us out here in RUclips land…Thank You! 🌀💚🌀side note… protect your eyes from the UV’s and keep a wet cloth on the back of your neck to keep a little bit cooler….
Love your enthusiasm for being outdoors, can't wait for the final installment - love coastal walks. You can't beat a bit of countryside next to the ocean 🌊
Looking forward to this one mate! Get the feet up and aftersun out now 🙌
You're videos are great....not long got off the phone to nordic outdoors about the competition to win 2x tickets to the fjallraven classic in the UK. And we'll thanks to you really, won the competition.
One of you're previous videos where you mentioned you were taking part had me looking into it and seeing what it was about more. So I entered the competition and have luckily won. Based up in the highlands so not far of a drive from here...but can't wait to take part with like minded people who love the outdoors and what it has to offer.
Look forward to hopefully seeing you there hazey...take it easy...🤟👍
Literally just sat down and notification, perfect timing after a tough day
Can't you upload them all! I don't want to wait another week!
I wouldn't have survived that heat and so little shade to find. Great vid. I always enjoy your stream of consciousness!
I love your video of you rambling in more ways than one on the Cleveland Way. With your mad sense of humour "Getting philosophical with one ball Paul🤣". You've made my Sunday. Cheers Hazey.
Come on the low point was the dog bowl in the church!
Hahah that was five star living mate
Great inspiration
Another great video mucker. Love watching these gives me the urge to get out there and enjoy great outdoors
😂Man, I love your adventures😂👍
What a ace watch loving the views keep going you legend
Good to hear your Yorkshire accent, I was a bit sad when you were trying to diminish it. Was worried when you said you had a headache, but then I remembered, you uploaded the video, lol That level of heat is no joke, especially if you aren't able to hydrate enough. Happy for the view; although the foggy one was beautiful as well. Take care, be well
Loving this series. Although it should come with a warning of "includes mild peril" had me on edge haha
You keep inspiring me to travel across my own country finding areas to hike and camp. My caps off to you! Respect from Florida USA 🌴
This is making my afternoon! Love it!
Happy to help me old mucker
What camera do you use ?
As always, another epic journey you've shared with us. Cheers Hazy
Shout out I’m in Hartlepool. Looks beautiful country side.
Need more of those videos! Loved it. Great trip, great adventure. 🤠✌️
Finally!! Part 2!!
Osmotherley village and distant views of Roseberry Topping. Thank you so much for triggering many happy and a few sad memories. ❤️
my god you cheer a day up
Sooooo good haha. I enjoy, your enjoyment! It's contagious. The cow bit played out perfectly haha, hilarious. Can't wait for the next part. Smashing it!
Hazey! I must admit that I love your videos! Thanks so much! Looked like a tough hike considering the heat wave that the UK 🇬🇧 is experiencing!
mad englishman in the midday sun
awesome mate thanks
Looking forward to watching part 3... this one looked like a right slog.
As an Aussie I totally feel for you hiking in that heat and with only a small amount of water as well, which is a bit dangerous, hence the headache. Can’t wait for the next upload 💜💜🇦🇺
Dude, you need a hat with a brim, preserve that baby soft Yorkshire complexion and lugs for years to come… Nice to see you rocking the Ironman kit - time for another, with the GoPro this time. Great content as ever 👍…
That’s a thought!
I was about 3 hours in front of you when you mentioned the time, I was on the c to c, that heat was mentally mad on the hottest day of the year. I found a small stream covered in gold algae on the moor and filtered some water, didn’t taste to good but I needed it, looking forward to part 3
So you also ignored the Met Office amber warning then lol
Mr Haze, you are a gem! Never change my lad 😂
First bit of water you see and you’re in! Think you’ve got some Labrador in you! 🤪
Awesome hazy look after yourself mate in that heat hats off to you I think I'd be dead doing that great video and stunning scenery hopefully you get to water soon take care and all the best thanks for your time 👍👌🙏❤️
Absolutely fantastic bud, enjoyable and so nicely filmed and narrated.
Best thing to do is a good stretch in the morning
100 k subs well done Haze ,not surprised at all always good fun and stunning views and editing 🙂
Great test for your physical and mental health. Another good one.
Nigel Foraging for Bilberries lad.
Great video as always mate... atb
Enjoyed every minute of that, I was out on that day on one of local hikes and half way through my 12 mile struggle I thought mate i should be sectioned.
Keep up the good work.
views are incredible! thanks so much for sharing, really enjoyed this video 🤗🙏
Here he is, the Rummest lad goin'
Hazey! Hazey! Hazey!
I LOVE your videos! I remember that clip with the cows! You are so real, love your philosophical meanderings and make me giggle! Take good care of yourself! Otherwise...MEDIC! Thanks! ATB!
That’s lovely mate thanks 😊
I was doing Hawes to Tan Hill Inn on the Pennine Way that day, had to take a break at a river near Keld from 1 tot 6 because I couldn't handle the heat! Got way too hot. Weirdly, I got a blister in the exact same spot between my toes 😅 looking forward to the next parts!
Great video again, thanks 👍
That looked chuffin' tough!
Nice to see the Lyke Wake Walk sign. I did that as a young Scout, about 40 years ago! 18th Barnsley (Hoyland) if anyone's bothered!! 😉
Well done our kid! x
00:35 man such a missed opportunity for the classic line, but you didn't disappoint - just wished you'd been able to film them blokes reactions when you actually did yell it 😅 grand job as always Hazey, you're truly a man of wisdom and inspiration x
Loved it. Thanks, Hazy. 👍🏕️😘🍺
Can't believe you kept going. The rollercoaster section featured as part of my Bilsdale round today, it was harsh enough in the early 20°'s. Proper wouldn't fancy it with several more degrees of heat and a multi-day loadout! As regards Saxx related chafage I've been there. Fracked them off for the Rab Force, which have yet to let me down. Thanks for sharing your adventures, stay safe.
Love the videos and appreciate the work you put in to them, especially in those conditions. Stay safe 🥵
Hey Ironman, take care of that noggin. I love your mind. Joy. :)
I did 2 peaks in one day, up Aran Fawddwy this weekend. Heat was a nightmare, but thankfully we were able to get water from streams etc... appreciate how bad the conditions are for you!
Massive Well done Haze in that inferno.
I was on the moos at Castleton yesterday, is a really good year for the Heather, never seen so much purple.
Just finished the snowdonia slate trail and the first 2 days in the sun exposure was a chore couldn't get enough liquids in me n that was 32 degrees max couldn't imagine doing that in 40
Massive love brother 👊
To you too mate!
@@HazeOutdoors love you more 👊🤣
roseberry topping.... my neck o' woods
Another inspirational video, with the wait. You are a northern legend, don't get them in the Midlands, lol. Can't wait till next vid.
Well done lad for doing that weather, it was crazy.
Dude been a sub. From ur steak challenge. Ur a trupper. Much respect for y ur doing them big hikess. Big hikes for big emotions. Much love man. Keep on keeping on.
I think this is up there with your Coast to Coast video! Which I watch a few times a year. Loving your content and seeing you back to your best. Get to Settle Flower Pot Trail
cracks me up that you dont edit out you walking back to the camera every time you go for that walk past shot, every time i see it in someones videos i think about them trawling back to it like a gorm, I love how you leave the footage in
Universal soldier eat your heart out……we got the haze machine, bit cagey in the heat tho but you pull through. All the best pal 👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴
Amazing as always
My daughter and I as part of a group walked the Two Moors Way that week. That was tough as well but at least we only had one really hot day.
15 mins in ...Get a good rest as its hard going the rest , :) Not as bad as going from other end for me anyways. im on the coast so i know this hike .Once did Saltburn to Great Ayton via roseberry topping in a winter snow storm was a hard day we was meant go for a smal hike that day so no food only one torch between us lol . ATB Max
Osmotherley is nice, donation for the bogs🌝
it's the journey not the destination. Being present takes practice but me owld mate eckhart tolle is a good lad
Hazey I had some of that chicken of the woods in may, the same one.mad that
Good going in tough conditions!
Loved it, another one on the list
Ouch that looked tough mate! Feel ur pain, nearly gave myself heat stroke yday hiking Helvellyn and a few other wainwright's 🤣 looking forward to part 3
ATB 🙎🏻♀️&🐕
Yasssss! Been waiting
Great stuff as ever. You need to carry a small umberella for a bit of portable shade mate
I love your long distance walks and respect due for battling through this one. You’re one tough Tyke and and an absolute inspiration. ❤️
Quality video dude, I feel your pain I was away on the Snowdonia way in it.... Brain frying weather..... Keep up the good work
Hey Haze, Oh my days i felt for you. That was a really tough shift you put in there on the hottest day of the year. Mad dogs and Englishman or Yorkshire man in your case. I mean this was relentless and i just felt so bad for you. However you are a legend and a top mate so i knew you'd pull it off Haze style. Looking forward to part 3 where hopefully it was a lot cooler for you. Stay strong mate. x
You need to carry some of those medic t shirts and then give some to those people those t shirts will make them understand! Great part 2 I remember this day when I did the coast to coast last September.
I watched this through the bottom of a glass of cognac it gives a nice sunburst effect
Nooooo, I was shouting at the screen that you missed the pond just before you camped for the second night. Gutted, it is deep enough for dunking the junk. Can’t believe you had to filter water from a puddle. Fair play to you, that heat that week was horrific 🥵🥵
Put in a tough shift on this one, Hazo.
Should of known better than to go trekking through the hottest part of the day and taken a siesta as originally planned.
Glad to see you survived and looking forward to the next one.
Respect and salute to Uncle Haze!
🫡
really enjoyed that fella,, only just come across you, watch your last two adventures so far,, brilliant mate, ,love your style 😉👋🤟👍,,,cant wait get out myselfbut fekin backs gone at the minute,,,medic
Dude, I am highly susceptible to heat exhaustion/stroke, not going to lie, I had a hard time watching some parts of this one. I know you know what you're doing, and your comic relief did ease a lot of my anxiety. Love what you do, Be safe out there.
Sorry to make you feel anxious mate. There’s always a decent sunset and cool breeze in the north too distant future ✊❤️
looks like an ordeal. Only your Yorkshire grit to carry you through.
Hi there. Wonderful video. I am not sure if you already know, but there is a utube channel called M.F. posting your videos and other utubers' videos. Thought I would let you know. Cheers from Sacramento, California
Ayoop mate, been watching you a while, always great to watch & admire you taking these really hard feats on, even though think you took a big risk in that heat:) bigup from pink, rokagroove radio:)
respect bro
A Beast !!
Take it easy in the heat mate, easy to log off if you work your body too hard and don’t keep hydrated. Puddle water is better than no water.
That looked hellish 🥵
Hi mate!👍
An umbrella would have been a good piece of survival kit
Brilliant.
Your an inspiration mate. Hope you know that. X
Lovely walk, but it’s time for you to do the South West Coast walk next spring/summer 630 miles of extremely difficult hills and rugged landscapes but stunning views does not get any better best in UK
