Thanks mate 👍
Quality cage that! 👌🏻
Cheers mate! 👍
❤❤❤
Thank you for this review. I’m thinking of doing a very similar set up in my garden. Hoping you could answer a question I have 🤞… How much depth is required? From the back of the net to the position of your Garmin r10. Many thanks 🙏
Hi, from the back of the net, I have my hitting area at 9 ft and then 7 ft from there to the Garmin R10. So I would allow for 16-17 ft total. But you may get away with having less ball flight distance, I.e. 8ft, but 9-10ft is recommended for better accuracy 👌
Thanks for this, any comments on noise from the neighbours?
@cogallchoir No, fortunately, my neighbours are pretty cool 🙂
im looking at getting this, considering the 2m version due to my space. How much space do you need behind the net for ball protrusion would you say?
This probably depends on how hard you hit it 😄, but as it has an inner net as well as the outer net, it will not need much, I would say 2-3 feet?! Maybe less.
Hi Ben, how much space do you need behind the net for it to deflect. I want to push it as close as possible to a fence so need to know how much clearance to allow. Thanks
Hi Gareth, depending on your ball speed and general power, I would allow for 2 maybe 3 feet clearance, just to be safe. But to be honest, I have never had to worry as I have around 4 feet behind mine, and that's over kill.
I'm sure the neighbours appreciated the extra netting 😅
😂, yeah I do get the impression that they get a bit nervous when I step out there with my clubs in hand lol
@ba_golf that's hilarious. During COVID I had a net setup in the backyard, I had literally just started golfing, first session my brother shanked a ball in the neighbour's yard 🤣 that was the end of that. We could have used this cage ! Lol
What kind of padding did you use for the poles?
Hi, the protective padding came with the cage, and the poles were pre installed into the foam inserts 👍
Hi hoping you can answer a question I have., bought the 3 metre cage recently and was wonder if it sways a lot for you?
Hi, it did in strong winds, so I had to use ropes to anchor it to my fence etc.. just in case. But the majority of the time it was ok.
@@ba_golf I thought there might have had to have been some restraint to stop it from swaying too much. Thanks for this
I bought one the other day but didn’t read it properly and got a 2mtr 🤦🏼♂️ do you know if I can buy new poles?
Sorry to hear that. I'm not sure , it might be worth reaching out to the supplier and seeing if they can, or maybe exchange for the 3M. Hope you get it resolved 👍
@@ba_golf didn’t realise until I started putting it together 🤣 2mtr will work but I will feel a lot safer with a 3 especially if I was to shank it 🤣
@MrArsenalfc14 😂 yeah I know the feeling, I have shanked a few in this net and its saved me 😄
How have you got on with the 2m cage or did you send it back?
@@PaulRotheram funny enough I rang them today to see if I could buy extra poles but they couldn’t help. Apparently they are out of stock of the 3mtr until April!! I’m using the 2mtr and it’s ok but I feel like I am holding myself back and not fully swinging at it.
do you think theres any way of widening the net to 4.5m?
cutting and splicing for example. thinking of undertaking this on this cage to fit a 16:9 impact screen
With this cage, probably not. However, if you are looking to completely build a custom cage, then yeah sure. You will just need to but the nets separately.
Nice setup mate! May I know your email address to share the coop opportunity through?
Hi, thanks for the comment. May I ask what the opportunity is?
