▶GoSports Range Cage: amzn.to/3WDWe32 ▶4k Wimius Projector: amzn.to/3SnIZkm The video is a tad long, but the Range Cage can be difficult to set up the first time or two, and wanted to try to cover all steps. Hope this helps!
I need to take my net down regularly, however if i didn;t this would 100% be my go to net. It covers shanks too! Looks premium and nothing else out there that ticks this box.
When indoors what’s the distance from the wall to the placement of the ball? Working with a tight space and need some reassurance before making the purchase.
How would you feel about this as a garage setup but partially disassembling and flipping the base up against the back wall of the garage to get it out of the way so cars can still park? To just put the thin poles on and connect net at the top would only take 1-2 minutes once you know what you were doing I would think?
I think that would be possible. It’s a great net/cage for a garage. Many people park/pull in their vehicles in the actually cage (even large trucks). It took me about 3-4 times to set up this cage - and than it became pretty simple. But the first couple times…. Was rough for me 😂
Great video - thanks! How do you think the impact screen will hold up outdoors if it's left outside 100% of the time? Can it be cleaned with a sponge or something when it gets dirty?
I think it would get quite dirty. At least where I live in Ohio. It is a little bit of a pain to remove and put up every time time tho. Definitely takes 5-7 minutes.
Thanks for the detailed instructions. Bought one based on your recommendations. Can it be left outdoors even during the rain? Or should I at least remove the screen after each use if it is outdoors. Thanks
@keithlim2693 Hi Keith we have not had this issue - however there is a review on Amazon stating the problem you state. Some people use a pool noodle for their golf enclosures (cut a lot through the entire noodle) and put around the back metal bar - to fit. Might be worth a shot.
Screen does a great job of handling all shots! Even comes with a weighted, padded bottom so any topped shots won’t penetrate the bottom screen and hit the metal base.
Thanks! Yes, I’ve been using the Garmin R10 for over two years. It’s great for the price. The newer Rapsodo is popular too. It’s just awesome to have these options at home!
Could you disconnect the side supports from the bottom rail and close the net in on itself when not in use? That way it could be pushed up against a wall?
Wow. I did not know about this sim enclosure. I have not! Looking on Amazon - it seems to be relatively new. Definitely worth looking into. Thanks for the heads up. They have a replica version of The Net Return and people seem to love it and say it is very high quality.
Yeah we’ve piped some drives into the net (my buddy hits 180 plus ball speed) and it has handled it well. If anything it’s reassuring to hit into this large of a net with driver. Most nets are way smaller and it is a mind game hitting into the smaller nets.

Yes, for the price point and the impact screen for simulators this is a great net at a fantastic price (keeps selling out).
Doing this exact setup with a OG skytrak. Thanks for the vid
That will be an awesome set up!
Pretty nice net.
Can you make a video of you taking it down as well? I want to see how easy that is
Great video, appreciate this!!
Thank you!

Would love to see some content out on that boat of yours! Range Cage setup made simple. Thank you!
Boat 🚤 needs some action. Too much golf, not enough fishing 🎣
@@dub-golf I think I may have seen a local business card in your boat hitch in your video.
@EducationEverything I’ll be sure to spread it around town!
love your video. Clicked the like button and subscribed.
Thank you!!! 🙏

It should be fine outdoors. Like anything could get wear over time from the elements. I would definitely remove the Impact Screen though.
Enjoy the cage. It’s great to have/use!

Thanks for the quick reply. Sounds like a good idea to try 😊
That’s a big net.
Does the screen absorb all power from the golf ball or do you need to add a cushion behind the screen so you won’t dent a wall
Screen does a great job of handling all shots! Even comes with a weighted, padded bottom so any topped shots won’t penetrate the bottom screen and hit the metal base.
Keep up the good work I'm gonna buy one of these just based on your review! Are you using the garmin r10?

have you tried their sim enclosure for $1k? wondering if its quality enough to compete with a Carl's version? thnx

@dub-golf if you take a stab at it, let me know. And I'll do the same. Might not be bad for a budget set up 🤷
@RickLuchini very intrigued by it! The customer review photo on Amazon - the enclosure looks great! Might look into getting this winter!
Do you feel comfortable hitting driver(160-180mph ball speeds) into this screen?

@@dub-golfthanks!
Is it safe to use outdoors without the impact screen?
I would definitely recommend using the impact screen at all times.
What mat are you hitting on?
