Holy shit man. I can't imagine how much you have spent on all that stuff..... thank fuck I'm a hvac tech and don't need all that shit
I just bought the large wrenches from 1 5/8 up to 2" -- I was also disappointed to find they don't full-polish those largest sizes. Not sure whey the 1 5/8 is polished, but not the rest? The wife bought me the 14V sawzall last year as a gift. I find I use it much more often than I originally thought I would. Get one! The power cab will fit nearly all of your power tools. I got 90% of my stuff in mine, but had to add extra shelves. I fit everything but the 3/4 and 1" guns in there. I used one of the shelves they sell for the hutch inside the power cab and also made a holster for an air saw out of PVC pipe and mounted it to the front wall of the cab. A brass punch is for not marring / damaging metal parts. You're fine to hit it with a steel hammer. Fluke is good, but I've seen too many guys around the shops have them just die with no warning after a year or 3. I use a Snappy meter I've had for nearly 10 years. That 36 breaker bar will fit in a top drawer of the new 84" Epiq.
Did you take off all the logos and writing on the protective boots or come off from use? From cleaning?
I love how every now and then you thrown in “this tool comes in handy” as if he’s done anything more than opening and closing his box
Flog
You know he was working in a race car booth before this right
don't disrespect the goat
What are you using to hold all of your sockets in place? I see the pins but are they magnetic and where did they come from?
that magnet is supposed to be like that. Its intended to get down inside an engine or other areas where the magnet would stick to everything along the way.
I don't know why but I just feel so pleased to see you smoking in the shop
"This is so you can hit shit and not fuck it up" no idea why but laughed my ass off due to the serious nature of that statement hahah
Like that little Starrett set. Can think of a million uses for those things. Love my Starrett tap wrench & center punch. Great company.
Who makes those sicker trays that you use? Are those pins fixed? And are they magnetic?
It's lovely quality gear but you can get a set of tools for the price of one Snapoff hammer?
Where do you buy the Nip-X pliers, and how do you like em?
cant wait to see the new box and how you set it all up man!! cheers
In the top drawer of the black box, what socket rails are those? They appear to be magnetic.
what foam are you using?
its so cool to see how much you love the tools that we make I work,at snap-on in Elizabethton Tennessee all the hand tools ratchets pry bars an all that are made at our plant
You guys make trash.never will buy another thing off of your piece of shit tool trucks. Overrated garbage
joshua brown hahahahaha sounds like someone’s in debt
The Snap-On Junkie!!! "so you can hit shit and not fuck it up, you know?"
awesome video man
Do you actually use these tools look far to clean.
Brett Darlington bro come one man you can see some of them are dirty, and his hands got smudged a bit from handling some of them
Brett Darlington some of us respect our tools! I have tools Snap On of course 30 plus years old! They all look and perform as they did when I bought them! Keep your dirty tools away from my 5-6 million dollar boat! White gel coat and your shitty dirty tools don't mix!
yeah I should go fxxx myself with those tools to give them some use.
Dude, at the end of the day, every day, you clean your tools, then put them away. Why would you throw hundreds of dollars in dirty tools into a 10,000 dollar tool box. Be a real mechanic! Clean your tools!!
But we can all see those dead blows have hit NOTHING. Just saying
To everyone posting comments implying that he never uses his tools because they are so clean, he explains in other videos why his tools are so clean.
His main role is not as a mechanic. He is the boss and he turns wrenches when necessary. His other responsibilities probably preclude him from working on the trucks as much as he'd like to; and I say that because he clearly enjoys doing that kind of work. If you've never run a business, you probably have no clue what I am talking about, but unlike someone whose main role is as a mechanic that comes in at 9, turns wrenches for 8 hours and mentally checks the fuck out at 5, a business owner is basically at work 24/7. He doesn't have much "time off".
He has and understands his financial responsibility to his company and employees to maximize profits. He earns far more money for the company by running the business than he does doing the repairs himself which is why, I'd imagine, his other employees do more of the wrenching. From what I gather, he mainly steps in for the big jobs, when his employees are unable to do the repair or if he ever has a bit of free time.
In addition, he also explains that he meticulously cares for his tools because he has invested so much money in them which is perfectly understandable. You can see that the handles of his pliers, hammers, ratchets, pry bars, etc. were cleaned thoroughly, yet there is still some grease left behind. There are scratches on his chrome tools such as the ratchets, sockets, wrenches, extensions etc. which shows fairly extensive use (and no, I'm not mistaking the fingerprints for scratches). You can also see rust embedded into the inner walls of the sockets, indicating their use on rusted nuts and bolts.
"and now it doesn't magnet"
Dude, that's gold
subbed
𝖘 𝖍 𝖎 𝖗 𝖔 Thanks
hey Justin, my one combination wrench set goes from 3/8" to 2" at 1 5/16" it switches over the the industrial black finish and they look mean and badass!
Men whats the part number in the pry bar holder and the hammer holder
I searched for “tool box tour” and got what I was looking for. Pretty much a snap on catalog in 3D.
Awesome Junkie, love this. The foam looks badass. There are companies now that do custom foam. You give them your drawer dimensions, then you go into their computer program and lay out the drawer however you'd like. They take your layout and laser cut the foam. You can even have painted size identification.
Justin D yeah I know that I'll be doing the next box a little bit differently but it's going to have foam and everything in it
This guy must be a TV repair man.
Well shit just looked at more money then I would ever make in my life lol
how do you keep your shot from lookin like it was used
where do u get your socket holders from???
Craig Mitchell Weslyn machine
Sheesh... Thumbs up on how much you are able to get into that box and STILL have it organized... Cool.
Where do you get the foam inserts for the drawers
william lewis I bought them from McMaster Carr the next box on buying something a little bit different so check back for the next toolbox do you want me to show you where I got all the stuff and how to organize it
how did you get the big screwdriver and cutters?
My dealer gave them to me their promotional items
How much roughly did you spend on the westling socket trays? and are they all magnetic
Dylan 400 box and like no not magnetic
The Snap-On Junkie!!! thanks junkie can't wait for the new box
hi Justin a great video, was wondering what is the part number of your black snap on roll cab as I'm looking to upgrade
Joseph Reed krsc43pot1
The Snap-On Junkie!!! thank you
I haven't bought SAE sized sockets/wrenches in ages. Everything I work on in my garage (I own a dozen cars) lately is metric.
"So you can hit shit and not fuck it up" 😂
what's the size on that extreme green box?
Hey Junkie... Love the tour. Try cross linked polyethylene foam for your new box.. Holds up way better then that open cell stuff you are using now. It's all I use for my aviation tool boxes and its easy to cut with a Dremel. Red or yellow underneath the black makes it easy to see whats missing. Cheers
do you have 1 1/2 drive up to 7 in sockets
shane russell no that's some really big shit I don't know what you would need that for
How much you have invested in your tool collection???
Do you have the purchase URL for the tool?
Damn you have got a lot of tools since your first toolbox tour. What's the part numbers in those SAE impact super short impact swivels?
Also when you get your new box ask your dealer about the warranty on the boxes like what is all covered and if those warranty carry over to having a used box. Thanks can't wait to see the new box
Thomas Elliott I will try to find you those part numbers on there not in the catalog
Your fucking awesome! Can you tell me how long Snap On Impact sockets last before they need to be replaced? Especially if they wear out? Also does snap on cover that under warranty?
MoneyMarcMes for..ev...er... (think sandlot )
Awesome video .... Never knew you can fit that much gold into those carts!
much respect dude
i have a good variety of all types of pliers. lmao. this dude is outta control and entertaining as hell.
the snap on junkie could you please let me know the part number to that blue point trans exstention
I need that one too. Been trying to hunt that down for a while
I really like that ratchet drawer with the impact gun in it... Ima might try a setup like that for myself..
This is incredible!! Literally not credible- no signs of wear on 99% of the tools on display no nicks on your boxes no signs of any garage enviroment I smell bullshit!! And on that magnetic pick up tool you don't recomend its actually a great tool because any real mechanic would know that trying to get to something without the magnet sticking to everything is a pain that sleeve eliminates that.
Alex Klaus maybe he just takes care of the fucking thing
Well he pays good money for these tools just like I do, I always clean my tools and take care of them and clean dirt and grease off of them and my tool box
Someone called me snap on junkie today lol close it’s close....
How do you afford the amount of tools shown here?
great tour, looking forward to seeing your new box!
Junkie you have a very impressive set of tools. Excited for your new box!
I didn't know they made brake adjustment tools. Those are sweet
Hey Justin, how are you going to put a 3/8 head on that extra long 1/4 ratchet? Do they make an adaptor kit? I have the same ratchet and it is truly badass
emusoda I want to comes in I'll explain how to do it and all that stuff
The Snap-On Junkie!!! Alright man, post up the part number too. By the way, you ought to get the 36" 1/2 breaker bar. It's a beast
emusoda I will
Great video Junkie. Can't wait to see your new toolbox. Btw have you tried the vaper that I gave you?
what is your weekly payment or do you pay cash for your tools
Keith Marion awesome stuff I pay cash for it and then the big stuff Set up monthly
No! he just uses his house, cars, kids collage money and everything else as collateral.
Wow man badass tools and an awesome set up... keep up the great work
the fart at 11:36 is classic
I love this guy!! the best Snap on tool box tour ever!! Great Video cant wait to see the new box!!
That magnet is so you can make it into the hole without it sticking to everything else on the way in, then push to pick up your item.
Do you have the part number for the spring tools at 32:44
Yeah no matter how you pronounce Knipex someone will correct. Everyone knows what you are talking about and they are great quality. Also just cut the tip off that magnet thing till the magnet is flush with the black housing. Thanks for the tour.
Patrick Clark-Barnes oh that's a great idea I never thought about that
The Snap-On Junkie!!! Here is another tip! Take your plastic cases the ones that are basically hollow in the back. Go to local hardware store buy the cheapest foam spray. Fill in the hollow areas allow the foam to set up. Trim off the excess! Now that tray is sturdy and will last forever! Take care bud!
What is the part number on that box
How the hell did you get green 14.4 batteries?
hey great video man I understand the need to collect every tool and all the sizes that they make, it's like drug but it's cool to have everything if you need it. when you get your new box can you show where you get that foam and how you cut it all out. thanks
Austin Hamre yes we are it comes next week
12:10 made me subscribe 😂
What would u estimate your entire tool collection is worth?
snap on wrench's when they go bigger like 2" they out source it like they do with a lot of OTC branded snapon stuff.
Holy shit man! whats your account balance on the ol snapper truck?! haha. Love all the tools! Cant wait to see them all I a big bad ass tool box!
Congratulations on a successful business junkie, keep that beautiful kit shined up.
Hay there , I have a lot of tools myself, But you were wondering why the bigger wrenches are not smooth. That's because you need the grip on your tool that your using. You don't want your grip to be sliding when you need all the grip that you can to hold onto your tool that your using. I know that it sucks not having that nice polished finish , But that's why. You got to have more grip.
Bro do you just collet the tools ? None of them look used
Great tool box tour pt.2. I enjoyed it. I really like your pry bar hanging rack. I was showing your first tool box tour video to the guys at work and none of them had seen anything like that. Where can I get one of those? And for what it's worth, I was watching knipex's promo videos and they pronounced the name knee-pex. Thanks for the great videos.
John Elmore yeah thanks for watching and thanks for sharing it with your friends
The Snap-On Junkie!!! I get it...if you tell me where you got the prybar rack you'll have to kill me. That's cool.
John Elmore I bought it from snap on The part number is kr294aapv
The Snap-On Junkie!!! My Snap On tool guy thanks you, haha.
John Elmore well tell him thank you from the snap on junkie hope you enjoy it
How much do you think you have invested
i love the green tool cart brother i need to get a bigger box asap !!!!!
Probably the best tool collection in existence, awesome man! I love the comment after the viewing of the 2" combination wrench..cracked me up. Great video!
Adam Gass thanks dude
are you sure your box is in your bedroom and not where you actually would use them?
can you do a review of the 14.4v screw driver please
I love this guy's command of the King's English. I've seen tools on this video that I didn't even know existed. I have added several to my wish list. Snap On should be paying this guy a commission.
king's english?
It's like he is a service writer who walked on a snap on truck.
Good to see your not a heathen. How about a quick vid of you using the brass punches on a seal.
Nice collection junkie! Can you show off those pliers organizers? I'd like to buy some soon. I know yours were buried under a pile of awesomeness, but I think I saw it back there. They're probably the cheapest Snap-on item you can buy!
Rust and Repair yeah I will show you what they are when I get my new toolbox in sometime next week when I go to organize plier drawer I'll tell you what they are
Anyone else hear the fart at 11:33?
WildBill C I think I had a tripod I did not fart
WildBill C Oh yeah I heard that... kinda sounded like a wet one...
Which drawer does he keep his change of underwear in ? Do they have snap on written on the waistband ?
Bingo Bango since it's a 'retirement' tool box tour they may say Depends here before too long...
omg just carry on , lol
Awesome video as always my friend. Where can I get some of those markers that you showed us? Keep it up!!
Nelson Horta Amazon
love the collection!
That magnet stick is cool its a pain in the ass to precisely try to reach something with the stupid magnet grabbing at everything
I use tons of 1/4 sockets especially with rechargeable tools, a lot of the stuff I had to use 3/8 on years ago I’ve went to 1/4, sockets and made better and tools in genral are made better
Yea 1/4 can be the shit if you get some of those new extra long 1/4 ratchets, and if you swap a 3/8 anvil in it you can then use spark plug sockets and thats fuckin handy
Very nice stuff Justin. Very orginized and clean. I can't wait to see your new box. Your plier drawer really needs more space for sure. Thanks for the tour.
John Gibson yeah the plier drawer is a little messy that's why we got to get a bigger box
You should see my drawer full of pliers. I'll do a video on my boxes in the near future.
No way these tools are used. This is a hey look at me show off box.
thats why its a retirement toolbox. he will use it once he is retired
Aidan Lambert You mean sell it when he is retired.
I bought a eight drawer top box in the early seventies ,bottom I got anew one eighty nine
Brass Punches are designed and used on anything u don't want to Mar up. Like for instance bearing races or anything that u don't want to scratch ding or damage but yet need something stiff. Brass is a much softer metal then steel or aluminum. So u are basically sacrificing the brass punch/drift over damaging the part ur working on. It doesn't matter if you use a brass or steel hammer on them, bcuz they are going to get screwed up on the working end before they will on the hitting end. They're a consumable meaning u will have to replace the with enough use. Same as the brass hammer. Most likely the hammer has replaceable ends just for that reason. Also those brake tools, are actually for adjusting slack adjusters. Ijs not trying to be a know it all dick either. Ijs bcuz I personally would rather know, then to keep on saying the wrong thing. Or using a tool wrong etc etc. No hard feelings we all have to learn some how. In if we get mad when people correct us, we will eventually never learn nothing. Bcuz people will not be so willing to tell us anything..
Like I have told you before. I like your no bullshit approach. Nice set up. I like your thinking. Start with smaller boxes and work your way up after you got tools and are making money. I started with a 26" then a 40" now a 72". Great video and can't wait to see your new box.
JERM C thanks again dude
Looks like that box can't show up quick enough. How long are they giving you to empty out your boxes that'll be a fucking job on its own.
Justin, are you gonna do any videos on your career in drag racing? I am curious to hear about who you worked with and how it was to work in the pits!!
JDieseljoe69 I never really thought about it I'm really all just be like what kind of questions do you want to know like what it was like a l you know you have to give me some kind idea
Would love to hear how you got into it, what team(s) you worked with, how long did you have to work each week on the car did you work on the road in the trailer, did you have to drive to each race or fly? Just a few questions to start!
I'm a diesel mechanic and I've got a 1/4 the tools you've got I love your collection looking forward to see your new box good luck with your wife's birth of your new baby
WOW!
Beautiful tool collection!
I just spent most of my paycheck on the new Milwaukee mid torque! I wish I had the money for a collection of tools like that lol.
CREDIT.
I could tell that at 11:33 you got a little excited about that little ratchet... :-) hahaha
I call it nipex, I don't say ka nife when I say knife so I am not going to say ka nip ex when I pronounce knipex, so I agree with you.
I just go with K-nipex because that's how I've heard it explained from a few German people and the company themselves. Its kind of like how Wiha and Wera sound more like Viha and Vera according the the Germans. I just go with the original pronunciation as much as I can. That said, its such a minor thing its basically a non issue.
Germans spell Viking, "Wiking", and Wilhelm is pronounced "Vilhelm".
+Joe Hanson you are correct
well I call them kipnex I think I'm dyslexic but only my tongue
It's German. And pronounced with the K
