Even today, whenever I hear this song I know one thing for sure: We have 10 turns until Axis hits Earth. We have to stop Zweizergain from moving before then!
@TrombeX2 The Japanese name quite literally means "a world exceedingly close, infinitely distant." So Close, Yet so Far, is the official translation, while the name of this video is a more accurate one.
This song really brings out my hot-blooded side, but still... when it comes to hot-blooded theme music, it's a tie between Roar, One who Breaks Supremacy, and Time to Come. It might be Roar, though. Yep, Folka can't be beat =D
@ShadowcatAlfa When you put it that way, I guess it does make sense. However, it hasn't been proven that there is in fact a parallel dimension from our own, as intriguing as that does sound. Not that that matters, since this is in fact a cartoon. ^^
@darkmirage0 You mean you don't pull a lever while shouting Variable Formation (with music) and deploy a T-Link Field? Awww :D In seriousness, yeah I've seen it. I think there's video of it here somewhere. It does look kinda shoddy. Hopefully Soul of Chogokin will make one.
I remember my playthrough at SRW OG 2 on GBA, they appeared at your rear in Scenario 41, this theme plays, I was like "SHIT! Alright then, lets end this." Most of my mech ended their turn after banging a giant Einst. After that Lamia's angelg got gangbanged by SM henchmen. GAMEOVER. XD
+TARDISES The one you get for just having him at level 33 with 55 kills before the Earth Cradle/Moon Cradle split? What does that have to do with Vindel taking him out? And all I do in that stage is just move everyone north so I get at least an extra turn to finish off the Einst before the S-Mirrors get in range.
QueenAleenaFan So true. "Hey! You killed the enemies! God work! Now, I'll kill Cap. Daitetsu, and gang bang your team with units that were reinforcements on the enemy's Turn! Have Fun."
@infringementMAN I looked in more on it and it disappoints me even more. The torso and thighs of the SRX come as different pieces from the R-2 and R-3. Which means to do Variable Formation ya need to yank the R-series apart and stick them together onto different bases. R-1 doesn't lock its legs into the back of the SRX and R-2 doesn't open like a potato. R-3 doesn't fold up like a transformer either :(
The only thing I find interesting is how long the new name for this song is. "Exceedingly Close, to an Extremely Distant World"...now that's a mouthful. I like the original name better.
Exceedingly close to an extremely distant world.... any way I try to think about it, it still comes across as confusing to me.... I think that they meant to do that ^^
@Dralshard O_________O Gekijouban Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan has ABSOLUTELY no place here! Kamina and Simon would get their asses handed to them by Folka, Sanger, Wodan, Masaki, (need I go on?). SRW>TTGL any day. NEVER make silly references to an inferior anime! (I'm just messin with ya ^^)

Dat time when Axel went all out against a mutated Beowulf before crossing over to the main OG universe
"Everyone is counting on this next attack.... I won't let them down!"
*Forgets to cast Bullseye/Attune*

Every time
This theme introduced me to SRW after hearing it in the game "I wanna find my Destiny" during the spider boss
Same
i remember the last mission in srw A on gba... so damn epic!
can not agree with you more!
This is my favorite theme...yeah, I use it for Lamia too.
@TrombeX2 The Japanese name quite literally means "a world exceedingly close, infinitely distant." So Close, Yet so Far, is the official translation, while the name of this video is a more accurate one.
L. C. Nielsen No wonder Banpresto doesn't hire localization teams.
When you are close to lose.....this song really pumps you out to fight even if you need to surpass the limits of logic!!! Truly an epic song.
Listening to this make my blood to boil
It's a shame this song didnt include in 2og! It is more fitted to Axel than Dark Knight, both song are cool indeed!
Actually, it is in there, but you have to beat the game in order to make it a normal battle tune. I use it for Lamia constantly.
Ah yes, this tune is also known as "So Close, Yet so Far".
Interesting as to how these songs have two names.....very interesting....
you brain will looping this song....when you didn't kill the target and he flee......

This is my ringtone
What a banger
@DonQuilolz I prefer using Code Kirin to this. XD but that's just me.
I like the version in SRW OG Saga Endless frontier better :P
@ItsVince72592 Gaiden is pretty much what happens after OG2 yea u kill him and he was going to "die" but he merged with Alfimi
@ShadowcatAlfa When you put it that way, I guess it does make sense. However, it hasn't been proven that there is in fact a parallel dimension from our own, as intriguing as that does sound. Not that that matters, since this is in fact a cartoon. ^^
@ModelOz It's Elzam Von Bronstein! Get it right! ^^
@ItsVince72592 hes not dead the Cry Wolves found him unconscious with his broken soul gain in the White star later
Well, it really just has one. The difference just comes from how it's translated.
@darkmirage0 Correctly? The model kits don't even do that in the first place.
Oh yeah. This song ftw alright.:D
True, but a good song's a good song, there's no denying that.
@darkmirage0 You mean you don't pull a lever while shouting Variable Formation (with music) and deploy a T-Link Field? Awww :D
In seriousness, yeah I've seen it. I think there's video of it here somewhere. It does look kinda shoddy. Hopefully Soul of Chogokin will make one.
@ThePistlwhipr Rätsel Feinschmecker, of course!
@berserkberserker Agreed. But I'd rather have the toy set rather than model kits. Transforming model kits are very fragile.
@ThePistlwhipr Well, with Gurren Lagann being in SRW Z2...
Also, you forgot to actually list one of the manliest men in the entire series. D:
@TrombeX2 It's called localization.
I just beat SRW A Portable. This might the best SRW theme.
@darkmirage0 Yeah..... considering how badly they got their asses handed to them by Beowulf.
GAMEOVER. XD
+TARDISES secret?

+TARDISES ah k
Ah, SRW:OG2, a game where victory was often decided by one simple question: did enemy reinforcements trigger on your turn or the enemy's turn?
QueenAleenaFan So true. "Hey! You killed the enemies! God work! Now, I'll kill Cap. Daitetsu, and gang bang your team with units that were reinforcements on the enemy's Turn! Have Fun."

@5c0ttiex Yeah, but you kill him in OG2. I never got the privilege of playing OG Gaiden...
The only thing I find interesting is how long the new name for this song is. "Exceedingly Close, to an Extremely Distant World"...now that's a mouthful.
I like the original name better.
@ModelOz Who did I miss? And from what series are you referring to?
Anyone happen to know what number this is and what disc its on in the OST? I have it but it's in Japamese O.o
True, but the other names eventually become fanon, which is then often taken for canon.
Exceedingly close to an extremely distant world.... any way I try to think about it, it still comes across as confusing to me.... I think that they meant to do that ^^
@ThePistlwhipr Elzam von BrAnstein. I believe it is -you- who should get it right! :3
Axel is moe
@infringementMAN Would be oh so cool if they could though.
@ModelOz Grrrrrrrrrrrr >:(
I can't be the only one who uses this for Lamia instead of Ash to Ash.
Especially since Ash to Ash is kinda boring...
Can you customize bgm in OG Gaiden?
Ash to Ash is not boring. and this one is fit for a final stage like in SRW A
It's time to kick Vindel and Lemon's asses, yeah!
Once I saw that Axel turns into a good guy in later games, I started feeling bad for killing him...
Is it me, or this and moon knights sound similar?
@Dralshard O_________O
