I don't know much about Star Wars, but that helm is based off of a 16th century "Great Bascinet" -- used as tournament armour for foot combat. Cool figure though, always love seeing medieval mixed in with sci fi.
Robo, you’re one of few people I’m 110% willing to rewatch reviews especially if it now supports you on your solo ventures. Star Wars is the bread and butter but you can’t have that bread and butter without some Robo thoughts! I’m excited for the future of not only TBS but Figuarts seems to be very slowly pumping some life back into their Star Wars line as well, let’s just hope they can keep the frustrations low and the figures good. Always look forward to hearing what you have to say and hoping 2024 is a good one!
Hera Syndulla is the sexiest Space Mom in the entire Galaxy
My wife: does it have ball joints?
Me: I don't know, the pants are molded as a big clump.
2:40 Oooooohh, that’s why he went out like a chump and completely fell to bits when he died.
Marrok actually has ball joints at the wrist, same as Hera
I definitely want to pick up Huyang but I think I will stick with my Rebels version of Hera.
I like Marrock, he's just a cool design. I took some acetone and "erased" a lot of that rust and painted those helmet slits black so I think he looks better now. Huyang, I had to paint. Used a titanium silver and he looks much better now. Hera just looks good.
Agree, agree, and agree.
Robo, thanks!! We need more videos! New or Old, give us toy contents! Peace
Just filling out the year with a few recent videos, back to new this weekend!
@@RoboDontKnow take your tiiime, you have my support!
If I ever get my hands on the Marrok figure, I'm just going to have him slaying space goblins, for funzies.
And maybe some ghosts here and there!
Hmm... I could make a Space Snake Eyes! 🤔😁
"Whatcha got under the apron" .... oh my Robo
I may get that Hera, I am tempted.
I’ll never be able to unsee the Purina logo 😂
I'll take all the Hera I can get honestly I'm kinda obsessed with Twi'leks 😏
Not gonna lie I watch your vids mostly while working out so I don't see the screen at all times and I heard "ohhhh my diva figures" and I def thought at first you were referring to the Overwatch character 😂
Heh, no no, more in the "my figures do whatever they feel like at any certain point" kind of way.
Robo rules. I like Hera too. 😊
I think the "shiny dents" you commented on with Marrok are from contact with the plastic packaging. (One "positive" to the plastic-free packaging they just abandoned?)
Yup, I guess that's why I didn't catch what they are, been a while since I've seen those!
@@RoboDontKnow Hit the shiny bits with some heat, they smooth right out!
But the small parts taste the bestest!
I'm just gonna say it. We need the blue on the turntable background.
bread and butter
That's right baby!
Oh boy I love watching Robo talk Star Wars 💜
your Herra has a hinge in the wrists? mine has a ball & socket.
it's versatile, but it's new so I'm on the fence about it. I think I'd prefer to have a box of Marvel Legends style hands than MacFarlane style swivel-hinge-swivel. the ball and socket wrists are more dynamic but less effective; they can go every which way, but not as much.
I missed that it was balls.
@@RoboDontKnow you do a lot of figure photography and stop motion; I know you play with these 😃😁 it's part of what makes you one of my favorite RUclipsrs. do you have a preference on wrist engineering? peg and hinge, peg hinge peg, ball and socket, something else? and if else who's doing it? (so I can play with it 😁)
Are you going to do a top 10 (ish) 2023 figures?
We may be doing a livestream Sunday or Monday for our Top 5.
I think wrists are ball sockets now
I was so happy to find my Marrok with a window.
Now pls Transformers. Bring it back. I’m sick of headless figures.
Putting Hera next to Obiwan… you know they’re a couple IRL right?
Was there any other reason to put them side by side?
Are we sure that HK87 Droid fig doesn't have: "Falling down action"? It could be an action feature lol jk jk
These are kind of cheaper looking than usual for Hasbro, does the plastic feel different?
Naw, same as usual, right down to the droid fall downiness.
A dark wash does marrock wonders
It's definitely still in the plans.
Hmmmm I feel like I’ve seen this before 🤔 lol
Haha, yeah, just finishing out the year before jumping into new videos. Well, besides the Weekly...
Hera in the Vintage collection carried over her caboose better than the BS.
Who yang? Deezz yang!
this is a fwoosh video
Yeah, that I recorded and posted over there, now it's over here.
@@RoboDontKnow no this came out a few months ago from the fwoosh
I know. I recorded it when I was with Fwoosh. Now I'm not.
@@RoboDontKnow so are you the fwoosh then
Dumbbells are for exercise not figures
Yeah! And plastic is for airport seats, not toys!
It's called a Dumbbell joint
@@chosen-wan2188Yes, we know. These are all sarcastic comments or humorous on some level.

I was really hoping that Asoka would be good but no, I should have learned my lesson with Obi-Wan
Honestly, these are so bland and the articulation and accessories are SO lacking compared to GI Joes while costing the same price for the customer. No way I could justify these when I could get Joes or Jada instead. No double-joints, no waist articulation, no thigh-swivels now? They ought to cost $10 less than other Hasbro lines.
But it's still the same amount of plastic, the same manufacturing process, along with it being licensed product and less potential reuse unless it's a uniform, a trooper, or a droid. Or a weird repaint. There's more to pricing than just points of articulation.
@@RoboDontKnow Yeah I get that there are elements to this behind the scenes, but articulation/accessories are important to me as a collector. Why does Star Wars Black Series get shafted from having the same standards as Joes or even Marvel Legends with their pinless double-limbs, thigh swivel and waist articulation? They also come with way fewer accessories most of the time. Darth Malgus was a "deluxe" and they didn't even bother to give him any alternate hands, just two trigger-hands! I think I probably would have gotten him if he at least had some force-using hands.
Bottom line is essentially this: as a customer, if the choices are between two lines that are the same price, and one is *objectively* better than the other(more articulation and accessories) then my money goes to the one that offers better quality and value. I'm just not a big enough SW fan to shrug off the disparities. Not a knock against those that are, it's just a money-for-value calculation.
Who still uses metal tacks 🙃 to hang pics up. you’re from Arkansas not Alabama. Have some class
