I don't know why everyone says this when literally everyone mentions how good the bass player is. The band isn't super big, but anyone that had heard them acknowledges how fantastic the bass playing is.

Jinjer is a great band!
After following their wotk for about 1 and a half year, I went to see them a live concert here in their first time in Brazil. It was a hell of a gig!
*they had not released the Micro Ep but actually played all 5 musics from the EP hahah it was awesome because I already knew how to sing some of them because they were already playing on previous shows too..
Anyway, just wanted to tell a bit about that experience.
Got the chance to meet them and take a picture backstage on a Meet & Greet, such cool people :)

Tatiana gets so much attention, and deservedly so. She is tops in her field. But let's not forget the technical prowess of this band.
One of the tightest bands out there, with such style in their playing.
Jinjer is the band that’s getting me back into metal. They are just absolutely amazing and their songs are so tight. I’m going to go see them in September and I couldn’t be more pumped.
Tatiana is the full package..... Beautiful voice, good pperson, and obviously attractive. And most importantly, i believe every word she sings... The passion is insane. Shes not just reading and saying the lyrics, shes singing the fuck out of them..

I love the prog elements of Jinjer...they expertly mix clean and fry vocals, great riffs, incredible bass lines and a spectacular drummer. I think another that does similar is Avatar.
They've always had little bits of rap-like stuff in their songs, and Tati has long credited hip hop as part of her wide range of influences. I think Teacher Teacher is the most popular song in the fan community at present - at least, when I see requests for followup Jinjer songs on first-time Jinjer reactions, most of the requests are usually for this song.
They just finished recording for their new record, and, they're touring in North America this fall. I've got tickets to see them in Philly. Super stoked to see them for the first time.
They played yesterday (Friday, June 14) at Download Festival. Can't wait to see some videos and watch the crowd's reaction!

Jinjer is one of the few newer metal bands that I really love. Soul and sincerity in their songs first and foremost. Gotta check out "I Speak Astronomy". It's basically a love song but written with astronomical symbolism. My personal favorite.

Getting ready to turn 60. Been watching reactions on this band for a month.
Tatiana is a 32yr old little Ukrainian woman that writes the lyrics for the music the band produces. She is a bad ass vocalist. That bass player is amazing as well he is always killing it. I speak astronomy live is awesome as well.
The band is a complete package. Singer awesome, guitar player awesome, bass player awesome and drummer awesome. Just a killer band.

This is a great song, one of their best. But unbelievably, it's matched by tracks like "Perennial", "I Speak Astronomy" and "Captain Clock". If you haven't listened to those songs, do yourself a favor and get on it. This band is going places and we're privileged to witness it.
That's actually Tatiana but we get the point lol, She is amazing and so is the whole band, It's like the perfect storm for metal!, This tune is kick ass but as you go along the Jinjer journey you will find out how truly amazing they are and you might change your mind on which tune to listen to first for other Jinjer rookies.
