Sonic Heroes breaks Arin about as badly as Ross' Mario Maker levels, and in response, he tries to make Dan commit crime in Link's Awakening.
I like how this is just a Sonic Heroes Compilation with other games thrown in.

-Went on and managed to steal the bow
- Got killed by the store clerk
- Got pissed at Arin for making him lose the no deaths extra ending
And in that parallel universe, Dan's name is forcibly changed to THIEF.

I think Arin's Pokemon rant is the first time I can actually get behind one of Arin's weirdly impassioned angry rants
I mean, hes not wrong. But at the same time "the most successful franchise" DESPITE their games looking like shit.. Because people STILL buy their games, even though they look like shit. So WHY should they bother making it look better, when they KNOW they can make it look like shit... and it will STILL SELL?
The only way the games will look better, is if fans and fanboys STOP buying the games that look like shit and let them know THAT is the reason they are not selling well. Demand they put some fucking effort into their games from now on.
Yeah usually whenever shits on like Sonic or Danganronpa or anything I'm like "Yeah, ok." because I'm a fan of those and see how a lot of his criticisms are wrong, but I'm a HARDCORE Pokemon fan, like played every single one type fan and I can agree that Game Freak are some of the most paradoxically lazy motherfuckers on the planet while still making bank every time, it's ridiculous. Any new inovation in the gameplay or the great music is always overshadowed by the shitty boring story or the mind numbingly bland visuals and overworlds. The worst part is in Gen 8 they halved the Pokedex and said it was for animation and proceeded to spend all their time making animations for the one part of the game that really doesn't matter at all (Pokemon camps)
Seriously, I know they never will but just go back to top down pixel by pixel visuals, you clearly don't know how to make a visually appealing or fun to traverse 3D game anymore.

I just realized in sonic heroes, dr.eggman has control in a few things. An entire canyon, a city wide casino, some portion of buildings in the skyscrapers, an entire armada in the sky, and these characters are looking for stuff not caring a thing about eggman
