I have another question about the sally trail mix: I just tried to solve it myself and it was tripping me off that there was already one "E" solved from "sweet". But when you pick a letter or a vowel, doesn't it usually clear ALL of them? 🤔
Idk, that's confusing to me that one "E" was already showing but the other one was still hidden. I think that's against the rules of the game....

I love the “the bananas has gone bad”. It’s just as good as “the carbuncle ate itself”. I frequently use both of those sentences. But the biggest one that my husband and I use and laugh like crazy is “suck my f*ckin d*ck, dude”. We say it all the time 😂

seriously Arin's use of his voice and tone is masterful. simply the way he says sentences, no matter how mundane they are, can make them funny. one of my favourites is in dead or alive when he realises he can't afford anything... the way he slowly trails off is so subtle and natural.

I recited the "I fired, then I missed" everyday in school to the point of no laughter. Everyone else would be rolling and I'd have a resting face with a funny voice.
The editing is on a Barry-tier level of enhancing the comedy. This crushes every compilation channel by a mile.
It's the "leaving enough of the background of the original image for stock photos during bits" that seems to kill me 😂
I actually watched him beat Battle Kid at a live show, the energy in that room was AMAZING.

Yeah it was a really awesome part of their game grumps live show. I don't think they recorded him beating it live but obviously that doesn't matter in the end. The whole bit was great.

Nah, “mark my woof” is definitely funnier. “Bark my words” is better as a pun, but that doesn’t make it funnier. “Mark my woof” just sounds so much more absurd, and “woof” is an inherently funny sounding word.
The Larry the Cable Guy bit cracks me up but I actually never looked up the commercial until now and it really is shockingly accurate...

Couple of things. 1. This compilation is amazing! Definitely one of my new favorite ones by far. 2. All of the edits are just perfect. One of my favorites is at 42:37, when they go on and on about Zelda's name. The fact that the screen gets smaller and smaller up until the end makes the entire bit even more perfect. While it's a pretty simple edit, it made me laugh alot!😂❤
Edit: I found another favorite one. The entire bit from 47:51 to 51:03. Every edit in that bit made it a million times better and funnier.😂
that "why don't the chinese use forks and spoons" is the line I heard that made me subscribe. For two days I giggled whenever I thought of it.

Incredible editing! I've been watching grumps since before Dan joined and this reminds me of Barry's old editing work of enhancing what's already there with zooms/shaking/etc. It's so much harder to do and doesn't take away from the original content like adding new sounds and images would (with the exception of the Batman bit and Larry the cableguy where seeing them visually makes the joke better, and even then the original video is kept in). None of the clips were too long or too short, when you took multiple bits from the same game you put them far enough away that it was fun when they came back, the audio levels are consistent even while mixing old and newer content, etc. Great wolfjob!
