      Exactly. The reason why parents get emotional and can't handle it well is because you're already dealing with a teenager who won't communicate with you properly.

The school doesn't do shit to help, then sometimes you try to talk to the parent and they don't do shit or like you said, they escalate it. My daughter wasn't a fighter, she was pushed into being a fighter and that shouldn't be. What I've seen kids do to a number of children (unwarranted) is disgusting. I've also seen kids gets jumped, 5 girls on one girl. There's not a shot in hell I'm allowing that to happen to my child.

He was constantly bullied by children, 2 years above him, My sister went to the school and asked for help, they said they would look into it but these perpetrators had a lot problems at home. After a few months of bullying, resulting in my nephew having his clothes ripped and rolled in mud. My brother in law went down to the school . He got hold of the kids, fortunately he did not hurt them but told them he would come looking for their dads. My sister went mad at her husband but the bullying stopped.

      Tbf. Fair play to him. It really is the dads fault. I constantly make a big deal about bullying. And how to be kind to others. I also teach them how to deflect bullies mentally. But also teach them to fight back if attacked physically. As that can also happen. Lotta parents won't take the time. To go through this stuff. And you end up with either a bully,or a victim.

    Schools do not deal with bullying. I had to remove my children from school entirely because of this. One of my children lost her hair due to stress induced alopecia. All the school did was make my daughter sit opposite the bullies and made them apologise. Which they did. Then as soon as they left the room they battered her AGAIN for telling the staff. Bullying is a disgrace in these schools. It is awful.

    • @jodejones262
      @jodejones262 6 месяцев назад

      @@Mixablemike hi, thank you! She is doing a lot better. Her hair has all grown back. At one point she had even lost her eyebrows and eyelashes. I ended up taking all three of my children out of school. My eldest tried to help my middle child (my daughter who lost her hair) and defend her. At which point a whole group of kids stood in a circle around my two and physically attacked them. This was after two years of these same three kids being vile to my daughter. Every week we would be at the school reporting new incidents. It began because my daughter is small for her age and is autistic. So struggles to speak to people very much. She is very quiet. She seems shy. But it’s because she struggles to know what she should say in social situations so she tends to stay in the background being quiet. So they called her names. Pushed her around. At one point they put chewing gum in her hair. Told her to kill herself. It was absolutely awful. The kids would admit they did it when teachers called them up on it. Apologise. And then just carry on. I tried to speak to the parents as the school weren’t doing much and to be fair the parents of two of the kids did speak to us and seemed to care and told us about other issues they were having with these kids. One of the kids though, her mum was as vile as her. So clearly she didn’t care and wouldn’t speak to us. When my daughter’s hair fell out and she began to hate herself I said enough is enough. We tried and tried to do what the school suggested and it was endless. So I homeschooled them. Her hair has grown back. She is confident. She speaks to people now a lot more than she did before. My eldest is almost 17 now and in college and is studying psychology so she can be some sort of therapist for teenagers. My son is above average in all of his subjects even though he is homeschooled. I’m lucky because I was able to be at home with them. This isn’t an option for a lot of people. I found out that all three of those kids ended up being expelled from school in the end because they moved on from my daughter to another child. Bullying is awful. It really has an impact on these kids. I think sometimes parents lose their temper with it because it seems the schools can’t or won’t stop it. Sometimes the other kids parents don’t care. It’s horrible.

    • @Mixablemike
      @Mixablemike 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@jodejones262 wow that is heartbreaking to read. Kids can be absolutely vile and I’m sure you must have been beside yourself when you can see the effects it has on your children but good on you for taking your babies out of that situation before those bullies done them anymore harm. Some schools are disgraceful for not doing enough to put a stop to this and allowing home schooling to be your only last option though. I would be so ashamed to be those other children’s parents and the schools should have absolutely done more, they have a duty of care and should come down harder on bullying. I’m just so glad to hear both your children are now both happy and succeeding and overcome what sounds like such a traumatic time for them. For a young girl to deal with bullying is horrific enough but to then have to deal with hair loss is just awful.
      I actually don’t blame this mum for confronting the pupil, I’ve felt like doing the very same thing when my daughter has come home numerous times really upset because girls have been horrible and when you try going to parents that don’t give a damn and to the school and dealing with it calmly yet nothing gets done about it, it’s very frustrating.
      I really hope that your daughters experience has had no long lasting effects and continues to be happy and do well in life😊

    Well, you gotta defend your kids when a school pretends bullying doesn't happen in their school so they get more funding or who the fuck knows. It's always about money somehow, someway.

    The problem with this type of thing is , kids will bully a student , with loads of people standing there watching , laughing , egging the situation on, recording it , then when the child who's being bullied snaps one day because they can't take it anymore , that child ends up in trouble , and gets put into the same bracket as the bully , there's far too many children taking there own lives due to behaviour like this and it needs to stop!
    Well done to this parent ,
    If this was a lad doing this to my son ,
    I would have made him look a right fool infront of his so called mates ,

    Parents should never address the kids, it will not end well because she will get no backing from the school. She will get banned! Plus when the parents are battling parents it only escalates. There is protocol for reason, this is not her kid, those times are done when other adults step to other people's kids.

      What is this protocol. And tell me if this “protocol” has ever worked. Quite frankly I think u have no choice but to speak to the parents. And if it escalates then so be it. I ain’t letting my kid get bullied if the teachers can’t do the fucking job right. Which they don’t

      Exactly the schools don’t do 💩 until somebody gets hurt or worse then it’s to late kids now days are a different breed for some reason especially middle schoolers I have 2 girls in middle school and the kids r dangerous I’m scared to send them everyday bc their school won’t do 💩 until it’s to late so I can understand this lady n a way not saying she’s n the right but I do understand where she’s coming from sadly

      @@ashleighhurt623 I hear you, most definitely I empathise with the parent but nowadays the kids are different and the parents are different. My kiddie is 18 now but when he had issues in primary I begged the school to facilitate a meeting with the other 2 boys parents. These kids knew my son from nursury and I said if we could just meet then I could explain my side. The head teacher said no way, so I said basically for them not to call me when my son fought back. Two weeks later my son fought back, 2 against 1 and he snapped. Issue dealt with, end of. BUT now, these kids are getting their older friends and family involved or bringing in weapons. I've heard of parents being attacked, these times are grimm and it's not worth it.

      No one hearing the part where the girl constantly says 'shes the one who wanted to fight' so her daughter is the bully and got banged so now mum came down to the school to show everyone where she gets it from. The girl is snart, not interested in getting her mum down which would just escalate some dumb school fight where she practiced self defense. The woman has ego issues. Immediately wanted to threaten the other girls mother when her authority was questioned

      Some of you guys live in a fairy tale thinking schools do anything about bullies. And even if they do, they could potentially make the situation much worse. Being branded a "snitch" was one of the worst things you could have over you in school
