5R110 Transmission Failure.

This video shows the analysis of a 5R 110 transmission from a 2007 F350. This vehicle was towed to us with operational problems and stalling when it was put into gear. The first step was to remove the transmission pan. From the amount of material on the magnet it was very obvious that there was an internal component failing. The transmission was removed for disassemble and inspection for parts requirements evaluation. There are times that due to extensive parts requirements the transmission may be replaced with a remanufactured transmission. This transmission however is rebuildable.
