if you asked me what my first racing games were this would be on it. first rally game too.taught me so much(keep concentration)and helped me get to where I am now where I could be considered a pro racing gamer. a great game that stood out for me out of all the ps2 rally games.
just rediscoverd this. im now 21 years old. i played this game when i was like 6 or 7, i can barley remember it. but it feels good. i played it for fun allthough it was really hard for me. now i got my own car and like to drive on lose roads and pretend to be a ralley driver myself :) it makes me happy. maybe someday i have a small car with 4 wheel drive and some hp.
WRC PS2 was trying to put a statement out by merely existing, that it was willing to put up a fight with Colin Mcrae Rally to be on top. and while in my opinion they ended up losing out, they put up a damn good fight, and i will always admire the game for it's ambition and bravery at the time it was coming out.

easily 1 of the greatest rally games of all time. possibly the best of its own series. up there with colin mcrae 1-2005. i loved v rally 2 as a kid but revisiting it now im really disappointed in the handling and the minute and a half long rally tracks
loved this game and still do they had things figured out for when the ps2 came out and it was like one of the few games with a good cockpit view amazing game and just got back into playing it cuz the disk still works :D some of the songs on it

The collin mcrae games lacked the authenticity which the evolution ps2 titles had
