Siae's Tunnel - One Dive 003 - 11/5/24 -

One Dive features content shot from a single dive. The clips are quite raw, with minimal editing and some color grading applied. I left some mistakes in the clips to show how I struggle sometimes with other divers, pulling focus, or adjusting the iris, or fighting the ocean itself.
Shot on RED Epic Dragon (6K/60fps/10:1) with 24-70mm Nikkor in Gates Weapon, and Big Blue 33K lights. JJ CCR and on this dive I think I maxed out around 36m and did about 15 min of deco.
This dive features Siae's Tunnel in the Ulong area of Palau. This cavern extends into the wall from about 27m at the top to 40m on the bottom near the entrance. Inside the tunnel are some macro treats, including the rare Decorated Dartfish and the Colin's Angelfish.
There's also beautiful sea fans, eels, gobies, and a really great school of jacks at the entrance. Every now and again, some sharks will cruise by the cleaning station at one of the windows.
In this video, I try out some voiceovers at the beginning and I added a GoPro to the camera rig to allow me to have some different perspectives and add some live commentary.

Jesse, thanks for introducing such a world class dive site with your amazing videos and for reminding me of those dreamlike days that I enjoyed during numerous trips to Palau over the last 23 years. Palau deserves to call itself paradise.
