    I took the same tour from Kas, fantastic itinerary, with the very interesting sunken city, and Simena has not changed since a decade or so ago I've been there. Quite a nice video presentation here. Keep 'em coming.

    This was probably my favorite region in Turkey. I was disappointed our guide didn't take us up to the fortress.

    One of our favorite things to do every time we come to Kaş. I think next time we'd like to stay overnight in Simena.

    Sister Corona virus not affected tourism industry in turkey?

    • @BeryIstanbulTips
      @BeryIstanbulTips  4 года назад +3

      Hello! Unfortunately as in every other country in the world tourism has been hit badly.
      Not too many tourists can be seen yet and in case of boat tours now they can only take half of its normal capacity for the social distancing rules.
      In the case of Cappadocia, the hot air balloons are cancelled at least until October.
      It will take a lot of time everywhere to recover :(

      There is only one harbour in the center, it can be seen from everywhere so you won’t find it hard to find it :)

    So you're telling me, I paid $90 for a tour to the sunken city and I can't even snorkel there? That's bullshit! I'm genuinely furious now! Had I known this I would have booked a cheaper tour just to Myra without the Sunken City. I feel ripped off. I understand why it's banned, but they should really post that in the tour description. If they're gonna do that, why not just offer glass bottom boat tours? It also doesn't help that people are posting pictures of Cleopatra's Baths in Fethiye and passing it off as Kekova and Phaselis. And it's not like I didn't try to do research. I DID and couldn't find anything about snorkeling at the site.

      @@sabrituncbilek4789 I should've. Probably would've been better than the dry, sauceless local food. IDK how Turkish food in Europe can be better than Turkish food in Turkey.

      I'm whining because Turkey was supposed to be a cheap country bit wasn't, because everywhere I went you people ripped me off. I don't think a good Muslim is supposed to cheat foreigners on prices. I don't know why you people get so aggressive over the slightest criticism of your country. No country is perfect. Turkey has it's good things and it's bad things like everywhere else, but you guys can't seem to see the bad things. You just say, "It's not us, it's Kurds!" Why can't you at the very least accept that foreigners get scammed in your country? You should be sad, because it ruins what is otherwise an incredible country.
