That was super impressive and easy to follow along. Working with two filters is definetely something I need to do more often. And that sublte bitcrushing is a really cool trick. Thanks for providing us with fantastic tutorials, replicating your synths is what really got me into sound design.
This is like 99 % of the sound if not the same. It's so close, wow I'm impressed. Very good job man, you have an absolute ear and thank you so much, sound design is very complex for me, have to learn a lot!
Everytime I watch this video (and yes I watched this 6 times) I learn something new. There are so many important details to make it the sound that it is. This is truly amazing.
Dude, you have literally the BEST tutorials!!! Preset packs are great, but actually being walked through on how to make the preset realllyyy help! I actually get to learn how to use vital 😄😄😄
probably the key is double filter. i am realizing how double filtering can give a massive impact on sounds by watching your videos. honestly when using serum users can't think of using 2 filters since theres only 1 in the main section
hii, I've been watching all your tutorials lately and really really enjoy them, they sound SO COOL :) Is there by any chance that you could consider making a tutorial on making cinematic swipes and sounds? that would be so cool and I would really appreciate it thanks 🥰
Thanks for the tutorial yet again. Love the sound. i dont know if you care, but i added a 3rd macro myself. I thought it would be cool to connect a macro to a new random (specifically its modulation amount), and then connect the random to the clamp macro. That way, you can adjust if, and how much of a wibble-wobble ish sound you want on it, and you dont have to do it by hand in the track manager like it looks like you did in the preview. Will be using this sound very ofter for sure 🙏
Fruity Love Filter gives some plucky tension effect and I love it. So I would personally only use it in a build up setting, wait I'm pretty sure you can speed it up somehow or let it kick in and let it sound more like a riser wich is better for House like genres aka Techno so I think keeping it more subtle would be a good idea
Funny how i needed this and tried to look it up and didnt find it, but then ine day i was like "how about i just try looking again" then you were the first video.
I would love to see hot to make a base or drum section for SYNTH aswell :) There are so many VST for doing that but are there some favourites one that you can recommend ? Thanks for a great guide and keep working !
I'm not sure if its just a me issue but its not an issue at all now, I noticed (at least with the the version that's on Spotify) the tuning/pitch is just about exactly +12 cents if the lowest note on the first chord is starting on F2 in the midi roll
DUDE YOU ARE THE GREATEST I LOVE THIS SONG hmu if you want to collab, you are finally teaching me the things Ive been trying to learn since Ive started
@@Mongoliandancer346 I found it by myself how to control Macro from Vital with Automation. First touch Macro up and down and then right click 'Multilink on controllers' and Create automation clips. If you don't know what multilink is, just press ctrl + j, so you know what I mean
@@braveplayys thx man , I also have found a solution , so I found out that you have to highlight the length or the area of the clip for the bars and then you turn the wheel you want to automate around , then you just have to click last tweaked for tools in the top left and then click create automationclip
Check out the midi at 1:09, it looks like I'm holding down the notes, but they are really just being manually retriggered in the midi clip. It's just that each note ends at the start of the next so in Vital's display it looks continuous even though it's not.
Dude your ability to do sound design is literally second to no one I have never seen such skills before.
Thayer: hold my synthesizer
jazen: turn the resonance all the way down
me: **ironic**
I've dreamed of this tutorial ever since hearing the song for the first time in 2015. Now it's real! Thanks, you really nailed it
Appreciate you!!! Glad it is everything you imagined it to be haha
I can't get enough of this channel, your sound design skills are impeccable!
Appreciate it!
The truth
Amazing. Please more synthwave stuff.
Agreed!
Pleeease. There are so few channels covering this!
Wooaaah, it sounds really similar to the original one.
Amazing sound design skills, Jazen
I really admire people who have so much resolve and patience for stuff like this, this sounds insanely close to the original, how long did this take?

Holy shit nightride comment that’s sick I love your radio nightride! ❤️
yo whatsup, how did u do the env automation thingy? cant get it to work, is it the patcher?
Nice work sir! 😀👍
I can't connect "From FL Studio" to "Mid Size Splitter' on the patcher menu.
Do you know how to make the string-sounding PAD from Golden Dust by A.L.I.S.O.N.? Starts at 1:00 in. I'm strugglinnnn.
how did you get so good at sound design this is crazy
This is crazy !
The best!

My favourite chillsynth song :)
Dope! Also how is the sound design knowledge series going?
Episode 2 should be out in a week or so

do you have something similar for the arpeggio later in the song?
this is really hard. third try and i'm still not getting it :(
Hi Jazen ! Can you try to remake the synth chords of hid song "New Machines" please ?
Awesome 🙂🔥😎
fire
Could you do a vital tutorial on how to make a trumpet sound?
Wow. This is pretty close. I don't have fruity loops so I had to stop at where vital standalone stops - but goddamn. Nice ear.
NIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what would various other MIDIs sound like with this synth?
Try it out!
Hmm when I hold down my keys they dont keep playing like yours do - any idea why?
Check out the midi at 1:09, it looks like I'm holding down the notes, but they are really just being manually retriggered in the midi clip. It's just that each note ends at the start of the next so in Vital's display it looks continuous even though it's not.

God bless you
this shit is gold
do the arp please
yes we need this ^^
Does this work with the free version of VITAL? great sound design btw
Yep it does! Great video thanks :D
How do you even do that!? But seriously thank you for this great tutorial
I thought you would get to within 70% of the original sound. But this sounds just like the song.
No space background :(
14:40 😎
How long does it take one to learn this?
Hi, I need to recreate a sound that I sent in a song. I could pay for a tutorial. Can I ask you in DM?
DM me on discord :)
