Yah I'm surprised as well, I've noticed that a lot of the most popular songs tend to use some of the simplest, basic fundamental sound design techniques.
@@rainingnights1409 I work at best buy, and this gentleman came in asking about audio equipment and i helped him out as best i could since bb doesnt have a whole lot in that department.. we got into talking about music and production, then i asked him if he knew of Resonance and then told him about a video i made

Seriously amazing work. I have genuinely learned more on music production from these videos than just sitting and watching someone talk about how to do something instead of showing what is actually going on. also what software do you use for the visualizer as i want to start promoting content on music i create and a visualizer would really improve that!
Thank you man! The visualizer at the bottom is a program/plugin called Minimeters! EDIT: I forgot that Minimeters is $10 USD, it is not in fact free... apologies
Excellent work. I listened to this with Audio-Technica m50X and its sound is a perfect and pleasant mix with all synths. Maybe I would lower the cowbell a little, but it sounds great. Congratulations from Chile.
i believe that ruggy arp was made with DIVA, it is extremely difficult to approximate original analog low octave frequency sparsing with the common Serum. And less alone approximating it with analog saturation
Brioooo, dang that's awesome. Like yeah composing music isn't easy but to remake a piece by ear, to have to evaluate something that already exists so far in depth and to have it sound this good.
Very good job. I like how you achieved so much with just the basic elements. That's a mark of a great producer. Also, that Vital skin is fucking sick, where did you get it? 😂😂
Hia, you've inspired me to try to make my own remake! It's on my channel. I credited you for pretty heavy inspiration but I tried at least a little to add my own twists while still keeping the vibe of the og song

But then i saw the comments and read that you were using free plugins, which changed my mind and i subbed and dropped a follow on spotify as well. When are you planning on releasing on spotify?
Dude this is awesome, if you played this and the original, I'd have a really hard time figuring out which one's the og. Honestly, is Serum worth it over Vital? I make electronic ambient and I use pretty much exclusively Vital and Valhalla.
Bro big thanks for this video, really well explained and also thanks for take a deep look at effects!! Really usefull tutorial, I added it to my public list on RUclips about Vaporwave tutorials for the producers who wants to learn about this amazing genre!!
Would not know this was not the original if it wasnt said! Though the main chord is a little off in my opinion (ex. 7:19 to 7:30). Maybe a frequency pitch down automation would make it better?
@@spencerimre I understand how that would seem a little counterintuitive… But sometimes in my opinion, OTT just adds some frequencies back that you need even after eq-ing them out. Plus, it’s just what felt right
Any chance you'd release the project file for this? I'd love to look around in it. Going thru a lot of old HOME streams I found he used the arturia MiniV2 plugin for most of these sounds, would love to replace it with those and see how it sounds!
Have you tried making it in a higher bpm and then slowing it? Thats what HOME did i think. What part do you think is the hardest to recreate accurately?
PS: For the love of God i AM AWARE that HOME used the MiniV2 for most of the song. I used what I had available to me, which was the point. thank you
this is very elegant, most impressive
That Valhalla supermassive really adds the ambience and weight that resonance has. Also suprised that it’s all just a saw wave lol
