Sweet video with great suggestions! I like what your doing here with the rig. Top that tape off with silicone and heat shrink it will be clean, solid and will keep the electrical tape from eventually peeling off.
Hey roman. I been hanging out at shelter island pier quite a bit. Theres a group of people targeting kayakers with traps n nets writing there hull number using binoculars. Calling fish n game immedeatly but why ? What would they be doing wrong ? Is there special rules for kayaks ?
It's legal to hoop off a kayak as long as you have your lobster card and fish a max of 5 pots. Sounds like they just dont have anything better to do. DFW came at me in Mission Bay last week. I just showed 'em my filled out Lobster Card and he measured my keepers and was on his way.
Good video and I get the less is better on a kayak. But on a boat have tried using some cable cuffs and extension cord holders to quickly tie up the extra line? Works great to keep everything organized.
It was an epic edit. LoL I thought I would be done with it last week. I had to find the motivation to shoot the line management part.... and Street Fighter V had me in a choke hold.
