the french tool is a tie wrap tensioner and it cuts off the end too. It is usually used for ventilation 🎉🎉🎉
Opinel for the French!!! Great little knives
sehr ordentlich Alter !!! well done mate !!! love your positivness and energy !!! greetz
Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback! 👍
Estwing pry bar. I picked it up every year and drooled over it for about ten years at the D&M tool show. Bit the bullet last year and bought one. Really good pry bar. Excellent angles.
You should come to Czech Republic. We have several high quality tools manufactures such as Narex (hand tools and power tools) , Kinex (measuring tools) and lot more. Almost all WERA tools are made in Czech Republic! :) We have long time history making tools... :)
You should make a snap on wall panel
If I could afford that many snap on tools I would 😅
You have an unhealthy obsession with those folding rulers 🤣
I think you don’t love them enough mate 😅
You mean Zollstock they are amazing everyone need a Zollstock
Honestly I prefer them over tapes. They're just nicer to use typically.
Another brilliant and fun video! Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
You too mate! 👍
Hello Jhonatan, I suggest two brands from northern Spain:
Bellota: They are high quality files. My favorite set of mini files.
Irimo: They are high quality and very affordable wrenches and ratchets. My favorite six-in-one screwdriver, which greatly facilitates efficiency work.
Finally, I explain that in the north of Spain there are bracho manufacturing plants that made palmera brand some years ago.
Best regards
Think you need a Zollstock frame next to that dartboard next 😉
I completely agree with you mate 👍
Great tools! Terrific Presentation!
I never knew I had a tool obsession until I started watching your videos!
Everyone has a tool obsession here 😅
Love it. It was great to meet you in person at Maker Central recently.
As a bit of a ‘fun’ video Have you ever thought of doing office desk draws?
Think of all the stuff you have in them that could be organised with shadow foam?
Not a bad shout that, great idea! 👍
@@ShadowFoamDon't forget the hangover cures and jaffa cakes. 😅
@@ShadowFoaminserts for IKEA Alex drawers would probably be pretty nice. They gotta be the most manufactured and widespread drawer size ever.
Or bathroom or Kitchen? I have my desk drawers, bedside drawers, kitchen drawers and bathroom drawers all laid out neatly in Shadow Foam.
Excellent idea !!!
Very well deserved 100K reward and very nice pannel
Epic Next Giveaway 😎 Play Button and Cool Tools 🔧 🤘🤠🤘
American viewers scratching their heads on the ‘Triggers Boom’ comment 😂
I believe their equivalent is George Washingtons axe
Just found out my bonus from work. Gonna be treating myself to some Lumberjack tools!!!
Love your videos I'll will like to receive one of your a starter kits your red tool is a strap tensioner plus cutter keep on your great videos
Thanks to you I'm going to be spending way too much on shipping getting some of these to the states.
Haha sorry mate 😅
Got to ban hubby from watching 😉…it’s his birthday next week and his list of present ideas grows after watching your videos .So many things he didn’t know he needed until he started following your brilliantly entertaining channel.😀
Orange Tool - Cable Tie tensioner and cutter
Fantastic !!!
Give ‘Will’s Whereabouts’ a shout pal. He’s just sorting out a van conversion workshop and needs some organisation!
Wow fantastic 👍😊
You need to come to The Netherlands one day, missing that on your board
Yes!
Looks amazing! I look forward to seeing more intresting tool videos, still love the Hacksmith saber 😁
Keep up the great content 😃👍
Got some corkers lined up on the channel! 👍
Play button looks realy good, congratulations again, love the zolstock going to order one when i order my next lot of foam
Thank you very much! Appreciate the comment 👍
You should get one of those scratch off world maps and then work your way around the world!!! 👍
I’d love that, which country should I go to first?
diggin the space savin organization and of course video backdrop, very well done
Thanks Robert, what tool stood out to you?
@@ShadowFoam OOoooo... Now that is a really loaded question as this is one of the BEST tool collections videos of 2024, by a pretty wide margin. I restore tools mostly antiques and lots of the small measuring tools stand out to me a lot. The foldable Shadowfoam is very cool when the Star Wars nerd in me doesn't yell out the working lightsaber.
awesome mate as always
Thanks again! Which tool stood out to you?
Great quirky tool display. Love the new studio. When is the darts collection getting its own shadow foam? Would love to see that being a fellow dartist. Or even a Shadowfoam dart surround
only issue with the multi driver from Canada , it did not come with Robertson bits. By the way, Robertson screw drivers were invented in Canada.
Its a Zip Tie Pliers, Colson also make them, I used them on a French Survey Vessel many years ago.
Every tradesman (I know) has a good & sharp, but inexpensive/replaceable work *knife.* You forgot Mora from Sweden or Øyo from Norway.
Very nice bro, bravo 👍
Thanks mate, which tool stood out to you in this video?
@@ShadowFoam Everything is good, everything is of high quality, I just envy you because you can afford all these good tools, kudos, but again I have to single out the scalpel that turns the blade, I like it a lot
From Spain you got tool brands like Bellota, Palmera, Urko...
I'd like a vertical "rollodex" of panels like the 2 vertical ones you have on the wall. Spin it around to find the board you want and then grab the tool. For me, that would be much better than drawers. If it's out of sight, it's out of my mind.
The tool from Facom is a cable tie gun for tensioning and cutting the ties. I would like to see a Draper tool wall, they do some unusual tools for automotive work. Plaque looks great in the middle 👍👍
The french tool looks like a cable stripper of sorts ??? But if I’m wrong you’ll let us know right? 🙏🏼 😂 Love my Friday Beer o’clock with Shadowfoam’s tool vids 👍🏼
That pick-up tool is a pretty old tool design. I remember my dad had a couple of them in his garage so he could pick up items that had fallen in inaccessible places, and that was at least 50 years ago.
Loving your vids. Would be good to see some Fiskars tools from Finland, established 375 years ago.
I’ll look into adding some to my collection 👍
03:47 Facom use to be French indeed .. but it's since 2006 owned by Stanley-Black&Decker .. andy many tools look exacly the same in the stanley version ( like som screw drivers )
The tool is a "colson" ( legrand ) tyrap tensioner & cutter . Looks exacly the same as the Legrand vesion .
The adjustable jaw wrench is like the one black and decker did years ago
Your quirky red Facom pliers are for tensioning and cutting plastic cable ties or “zip ties” as our colonial cousins call ‘em. Also called Tie wraps in some circles.
Bahco is owned by Snap-on, so that snap-on adjustable wrench are probably made by bahco and rebranded Snap-on
Love the quirky tool videos. 🛠️🧰
Us too!
another informative video , love the querky tools and what is the French [ fom ] tool never seen one before👍
Congrats on the 100k
Thank you so much 😀
Is the french tool a wire stripers love these vids and i may not use fome but the video the othe month todo with the cutting kit really helped me out at work as normally my boss changes our scalpel blades but he was off and mine and my colleagues blade had snapped and luckily i remembered that video so big thanks 👍
I know you did France but there is a tool company called CATU and they make a Phase tester screwdriver ( testeur de phase pro ) Model MO-65222. I had one of these and it was stolen along with a lot of other tools when I had my van broken into. It is Quirky and practical. The company is now owned by a larger company that also owns Boddington Tools
The Panels look great , i really think you should consider selling them made up if you don’t already , what would the cost be for already made one , that way only have to decide which tools to put in and cut , excellent tools need to get the Facom cable tie tool
It’s something I have been weighing up for a while, so thanks for the push! 👍
It's the Eurovision of tools
Did the UK tool get nil points?
Come to the Netherlands please🙂
Brilliant collection - love it ❤- you've missed out Switzerland though 😢
I’ll rectify that soon enough, reccomend and Swiss tools or tool shops?
Apart from the diy shops like OBI, Hornbach, Jumbo etc. - Hasler, Briner (tool merchants) - Brands like PB Swiss (obvs) but also Technocraft, Kraftwerk (not the techno-pop band!) 😂
Hi
Got the range of shaviv deburring tools at the show tomorrow looking forward to meeting you
Wow amazing. Speed sq a must for me
It’s a great choice, I need to check out the rest of their range! 👌
The Steelman wrench looks the same as one branded Kobalt (Lowes brand in the states) that I have
Check out the Neji-saurus screw removing pliers, I thought they were a gimmick till I accidently bought some ( strong painkillers and ebay are not good bedfellows folks), they're fantastic. Mind you, Vessel impact screwdrivers are also really good for brake disc/drum screws
Engineer comes up with the greatest names for their screw removal pliers, here in the US we have Vampliers.
@@Roger_Icce noticed them a couple of months ago, wife said go on, treat yourself, sadly the shipping, import duties and taxes were higher than the cost of the tool..
Governments and big conglomerates, worlwide, have a lot to answer for.
Great vid mate! Where can I buy the little 5m tape measure from please. The yellow one you showed. I couldn’t find the link on your list 👍
It’s the last link to register interest, I plan on selling them very soon, register to get access to them first! 👀
Can you do on a video on cutting huespar laser levels into shadow foam in milwaukee packout boxes because some of the bits are narrow but deep 🤔
Check out Vessel from Japan, especially their ball grip electric screwdriver. They also did a colab with Wera and have Japanese style screwdrivers with a ball grip.
The Facom tool, is it pipecutter by any chance
It's a "Pince pour collier de fixation" as they call them here in france
Hello what a brilliant video can you please tell me the tool name
I walk around Lowe's an Home Depot a lot and end up with clearance tools that are they are practically giving away, I can't pass them up even if I might not need them. Maybe I should display them like you 👍🏼
That sounds like a great idea! Any hidden gems?
@@ShadowFoam I got at Lowe’s 2 days ago Craftsmen Versa Stack 11 piece 3/8 ratchet and metric socket set for $10.50 normally $25.98 missed marked but Lowe’s honored the price and a Klein 11 in 1 plus another flip socket impact shaft for $8.72 in clearance normally $34.98, I normally don't buy the new Craftsman stuff but at that price, and the ratchet is surprisingly pretty nice 👍🏼
The weirdest thing is a German tool but not for DIY but for the breakfast tabel
it´s called "Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher" = literally "Eggshell predetermined breaking point causative agent" ..it´s a tool for soft boiled eggs in order to get rid of the cap of the eggshell while the rest of the egg shell keeps intact in order to spoon out the soft boiled egg.
Hello some of the finest of a fantastic tools and some of the fantastic work you do some of the tools are from Europe are absolutely brilliant I just wish we had some of the picnics and some of the wearer tools and if you look at the from electrician and a electronics person tools that can be used together in the same case and top it off a somewhere we can store walkie talkies or CB radios and scanners with your tools
Great input mate, lot of good ideas! 👍
Do i have to order an minimum amount to get the cutting set for free?
Saw the Magnum compact tape on your channel and tried to find it for sale in a shop that would ship across Europe. Couldn't find any.
I tried to contact the brand several times but they didn't answer any of my emails....
If you know a shop that sells them to mainland Europe, I'd love to know.
Wera do an impacting driver with swappable blades for around £100 or there abouts depending on demand I suppose.
did i just see a Blue Peter moment!
Haha whatever do you mean? 👀
Magnum EasyGrips work great on ye nuts!
😂😂😂
Hi mate just wondering if you could create a case with foam for some plastering trowel?
I am toying with the idea to put together kits for specific trades
@@ShadowFoam if that’s the case I’d deffo be interested in what you put together for plastering 👍🏻👍🏻
Is the French tool wire strippers, 👍❤️
French cleats for the win!
No complaints with a French cleat! 👍
Pince pour serrer les Rilsan
Hi you said you have left a link to the Magnum easigrip pliers below but I can't see it, can you point in the right direction.
there is a link to register your interest in them for when we sell them in the UK at the bottom of or list of links
The magnum channel locks look identical to Knipex smart grips 🤷♂️
hog ring pliers
"How can it be the same bloody scalpel then?"
😅😅😅
Love the marksmen markers but they are getting harder to get hold off. They used to be everywhere. Not sure what’s going on.
Have you tried our link below?
Greetings.
Hi Aidan, any tools here stand out to you?
The electrician's spirit level is unique. That's on my list!
Which European country has the hardware stores with the biggest and best selection of tools?
TEST THE UNIOR TOOLS PLS ❤❤❤
Where would I get those from?
Got to go to China now 😊
6:48 like if you know the reference 😀
First in 😁
What did you think of the video?
lidl are selling a nightstick ratchet next week twelve quid
You can let me know what that weird tool is in just over an hour.
Tools from România
Good shout, could you recommend any?
@@ShadowFoam MOB&IUS GOOD TOOLS
Swiss tools
Any in particular?
Torque driver?
Those Magnum pliers are a terrible copy of the self-adjusting Knipex Cobras (85 01 250 for example). Do yourself a favor and get those instead. With these Magnums you trade one fiddling with the other. The Cobras are fully automatic and don't needs to be PRIED OPEN. What kind of dum-dum even designs something like this?!
Norwegian tools: haven't seen anything impressive other than the Viking Arm. That one is top notch craftsmanship and a really handy lifting tool. I use regularly to oil door hinges and such.
I don't really understand the magnet and stainless steel. SS has to have 21%+ Chromium to be considered SS. It has small amounts of this and that, but the most part is still iron so it should be quite magnetic.
I'm not really a fan adjustable wrenches, but that Speedjaw looks interesting. It'd def. deserve a 60 second short where it's properly demo'd.
God help you if you ever email them. They will NEVER respond!
Email who Barry?
@@ShadowFoam check your email. Emailed you twice.
What is the email address you have sent your email to Barry?
That adjustable ratchet belongs not in a compact tool kit but a combat tool kit.
😅😅😅
