@@Oni_Blxck Appreciate the link, just ordered one up. I'm gonna have to try out some bright orange paint. I was using the Proline C10 body but it doesn't hold up well to bashing. Cheers
My Fireteam backflips easy. It'll pull standing backflips. Just move the battery tray to the back mounting holes, ear plug the center diff, and put the speed pinion on. You'll think it's a Notorious. A really long wb Notorious but it'll flip like crazy. That bearing is one of the only problems my Fireteam has had in 2 years. I ordered the fast eddy kit and haven't blown another one. The small body panels do suck but the cage really adds support and protection. The locating pins are the secret i think. I just know i bash mine as hard as i do my Xmaxx or anything else and my stock chassis is still perfect. Aside from the bearing all I've done is tweaked both shock towers just enough the body is hard to put on. I've got basher queens to put on it but it's not necessary yet. I think the Fireteam is the best 6s Arrma. It does everything good.
That sounds pretty sweet man I bet it’s a monster. I may try the earplugs in the center and try moving the tray. I also have a sort of build I want to do with it soon that should be pretty epic and I’ve never seen anybody else do it. Thanks man 🤘🏻
I had to swap over to all new electronics after I fried them in water. Using a Traxxas vxl 6s system. It is very underpowered in this vehicle. Stock power is way better. I do have some big plans for this in the near future to make it way better so stay tuned for that.
Great video and great jumps. I'm debating between Kraton 6S and Typhon 6S. Currently in Canada Kraton 6S is $750 CAD while Typhon 6S is $510. Is Kraton worth an additional $240? I already have Rival MT10 and I'm debating which one to get next.
Thank you. The real advantage of the Kraton is the ground clearance. I’d say if you’re planning to jump more then go with the Kraton. If you’re looking for more driving and handling then the Typhon.
@@keldonator As I was going to pull the trigger the sale ended. Now waiting for Black Friday to see if there are any discounts. Typhon seems more fun to me also and I was leaning towards but I'm worried because I mainly have grass terrain around my area so I think Kraton would be a better choice. Rival MT10 is so good at drifting that it gives me that fun factor in dirt patches.
@@TheSerbianG The typhon does fine in normal mowed grass. If it were tall unkept grass the kraton would be better for sure. The typhon just feels so much more durable since it shares so many parts with the kraton but is smaller
I would like to know in your opinion if Traxxas is as good a product as Arrma? Traxxas is pretty expensive to start with, but the Arrmas in your vids seem tough.
Thanks man. There’s nothing wrong with Traxxas necessarily but in my experience they just aren’t as durable for the things I enjoy doing with the cars. They offer a lot of convenience but to me arrma makes much tougher cars that can be pushed to the limit at a much better price. To make a Traxxas tough usually you’re going to have to change way more parts and spend 2-3x what you would on something else. You might get a car for $400 but need another $700-$1000 to make it perform. If you plan to drive easy and never really get intense then go for Traxxas. If you want to have the assurance of durability then I wouldn’t.
my kraton has a problem with its gears (diffs) and I'm scared to pin it or anything because when I do I hear a click and it also clicks when I'm giving it gas while turning it and I can't figure out
It sounds like the diff may need to be shimmed but if you’ve ever broken teeth be sure you clear them all out. When I worked at the shop that was big issue. People would switch the diff gear and there might be one little piece of metal and it would shred the gears over time. Best of luck though man those cars are tanks once you get them dialed in 🤘🏻
@whatsintheboxx what are you 12? Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean anything. Maybe you can’t drive and don’t know shit? Either way Horizon is popular and has huge brands with plenty of credibility. You’re an idiot.
Dope video really accurately said Being an arrma kraton 6s 2018 ower
Thanks man. It’s a great truck for sure
That body and bright orange looks sick. Which body are you using on that Kraton?
It’s this one

Are the fireteam shocks and kraton shocks the same lengths?
Also, I've heard that changing the shock caps to emulsion style caps will help a lot with the bounce 👍
The Kraton shocks are 2mm shorter. Probably could use them tbh
I’ll have to look in to that thanks man
Would you recommend the Kraton 6s over the Fireteam 6s? I’m looking to buy my first 6s basher
For your first I’d definitely say the Kraton. It’s more versatile so you can do a bit more with it. You’ll have a blast man. Cheers 🤘🏻
@@Oni_BlxckOn the Fireteam in this video, did you have the punch down on the esc or was it stock?

Love my Fireteam. Have it over 2 years stock and haven’t broken anything.
It’s a beast for sure
