I love Rainie so much. She brings a much needed energy and really shifts the dynamic of the podcast. I love Miles and I love when they’re together, but it’s very cool to see her manage the conversation flow so well on her own. Great job!

YESSSS! I have no idea why The Spy Who Dumped Me (AKA Tinker Tailor Stoner Spy) isn't a bigger deal. I mean you have Kate McKinnon talking about "unbaked croissants" and drooling over her real life obsession, Gillian Anderson. You have Mila Kunis playing her bestie (uh! that chemistry) burning her ex's shit in a fire on their balcony, whilst serving all the burns. And then just the silliest, bloody, hawt action. I mean, Jamie fucking Fraser spies it up. Shoulda been a slam dunk. (Double posting this cause you should Guilty Pleasure this treasure.)

Rainie is so right about the movie "the spy who dumped me" it's really good and funny. Rainie has amazing taste!
I have genuinely enjoyed each of the 3 podcasts, but Guilty Pleasures is the most entertaining. It's the most animated and the funniest. Zach, Garrick, and Kelsey have impeccable chemistry.

@@shllyn me too! I was under the impression that given the subject matter and the dynamism of the hosts itd smoke the YCSWU channel or independent subscribers. I hope they know how much the listeners love that show. I have rearcher someone of them 5 or 6 times. Wildly, some for movies I have never have and never will want to see (eg the greatest showman, speed racer, he’s all that etc)
I mean I love all 3 podcasts, but I categorically delayed subscribing to YCSWU until the spaghetti had been dumped

Painting my nails is what got me to stop chewing on them, even with my years long habit and anxiety. And from a trans-masc perspective, I do think it's a bit trendy for guys to paint their nails, but so what? I used to be horribly afraid to do it, and I'm very happy it's becoming a more gender neutral thing. I think it's something that you might have fun doing together, even if it's just occasional
same here! i paint my nails mostly to keep me from biting them, though it only works while they are not chipped. so thats my incentive to keep em pristine lol
Hard agree, I love seeing lots of cishet guys getting into painting their nails, because they should also get to enjoy making their bodies artistic and fun! It also means that if I ever get brave enough to try it out myself it's less likely that someone will clock me as queer in every scenario

My pedicure buddy for 7 years before I moved was a cishet man and his soon to be wife has often mentioned how adorable she found his blue glitter toes when they were dating early on. I wish and hope more cishet men start painting their nails. Like holding hands is cool but when you grab your loved ones hand and you can tell they pay attention to them hands? Electric

SHINY energy is such a great descriptor. I do love movies but haven’t seen 80% of the movies they discus and never intend to. Like the greatest showman couldn’t be further from my interest sphere of content and yet that episode with Eric Stiffler is easily top 5 episodes for me.
Your point is so perfectly demonstrated in the latest Julie/Julia episode. I love those guys and bis and miles at the helm is just perfection.

100%! I stopped watching for a while because something was off for me. Now that the bad fruit has been dumped, it's sooo much better! Also glad they explained that Eugene wouldn't be on much because he doesn't like it. Makes more sense.

TBH, as a fellow nail biter, having manicured nails is the ONLY deterrent for me. But once they are chipped, then I destroy them until I can get them fixed again.
Yup. I’ve gotten better at not chewing or picking at them, but the only way I can guarantee that I won’t pick or chew away my length is when I have them painted. And thankfully when they’re chipped I still don’t chew because I don’t want to eat nail polish. I do still definitely pick at the chipped nail polish though

Hey Zach (please read, I think this will help you like a super whole lot)
I bought this thing called chew-lery, which is basically a rubber-silicon food safe medallion that you can chew on when you feel inclined to bite. I've had it for about a month now and it has REALLY helped me not chew my nails. The designs are dope, too. The company I chose to buy from is ARK Therapeutic. They had a Thor's Hammer which is the one I bought, and they also have like... a BFF heart breakaway two-piece one, Captain America's shield, lightsaber, lego-style blocks; they've also got really subtle-y ones as well as pen toppers and chew "wands" (one design looks like a guitar!).
LMK what you think if and when you get one.

If I can provide some feedback as a 3pod listener…
I think the TryPod’s appeal is hearing BTS tidbits and Zach and Keith’s feelings behind videos. But sometimes I start a trypod and have no idea what it’s gonna be about, so I stop it. It’s almost like steam of consciousness and I’m not sure if it’s a worthwhile listen.
Guilty Pleasures is awesome bc it’s solely focused on one topic and if you like or are intrigued by the movie, it’s fun to discuss it in detail like reviewing it with friends.
And the You Can Sit With Us podcast is great bc 1) those ladies are awesome but 2) you know exactly what you’ve signed up for. If it says they’re talking about X they’re talking about X and in great gossipy detail.
That's interesting because:
I find the Trypod to be the most enjoyable, is just like a chat with friends, it goes everywhere and it's just lighthearted and fun.
Guilty Pleasures is like an insiders conversation I can't listen to the episode if I don't recognize the movie because I'm just lost.
So for YCSWU I enjoy the topical tangents more than the actual structured discussion.
That's so funny because I only enjoy the trypod for that exact reason. I stopped watching YCSWU after like 10 episodes because I kept turning it off in the middle. The ladies are just not my people and that's okay. I haven't really watched GP because it's too focused on a topic I'm not interested in. The flittering between topics on trypod keeps my attention because it's always different. Admittedly I skipped like 100 episodes in the middle because it got boring, but I have watched every one since it's been just Keith and Zach (and producer) as their energy is much more my speed. Interesting to see the difference in preferences!
Guilty pleasures is my favourite pod! Please don’t cancel it ❤. It is my dream podcast lol!
There's no way I can choose between them so I subscribed to both. I love all of your podcasts but have to admit I watch The TryPod the most.
