OMG,i dont understand these stupid tarja vs anette wars.......if you are NIGHTWISH fan,you will accept that they did need change!!i like tarja´s solo career too but I accept that change.Anette has awesome voice too.Dont forget that in Tarja era it was Tarja and Nightwish.Now it´s NIGHTWISH!So stop these stupid conflicts and listen to great music they are making!
@Jukkax26 I never particularly enjoyed Tarja's voice tbh... it was more about the other part of Nightwish that I liked. I mean I never thought she had a bad voice but nothing I would say is wonderful either.
As a gamer, I love this song. The verses are enormous cliche's of fantasy hero's (seriously, all 4 of the adventurers described could fit into absolutely every D&D game ever), but the song makes it work because it makes it so recognizable. Which makes the chorus all the more effective. To me, it's a perfect description of the good parts of the escapism such games provide. "Forget the task, enjoy the ride" indeed. Oh, and the music is great too. I just wish the lyrics were a bit easier to hear.
This song is one their best, it's so much heavier than most of their stuff! I love the regular, not electric/synthesizer, piano solo. Their best albums in order are: Oceanborn, Wishmaster, Century Child, Angels Fall First, Dark Passion Play. (But DPP shouldn't even be on that list. since it's not even the same band)

You can't compare Tarja to Anette... their styles are too different from one another for a fair comparison
