I just came back from my 40 day follow up. I’m clear of any cancer and with my total hysterectomy, they discovered I had three ovaries! Terribly exciting! The info in here was very informative. I wish I had seen it before my surgery!!
In Europe generally they keep you at the hospital for at least 4 to 5 days
This was Very informational thank you
I don’t feel it’s accurate to say you are in pain for first few days only. I was still stiff and achy for at least 2 1/2 weeks. Needed to take ibuprofen around the clock. I am also in very good physical condition and weight. So, I was not starting out in poor condition.
I'm getting a hysterectomy next month. You said you took Ibuprofen around the clock. My doctor is going to send me home with all sorts of pain meds - morphine, opioids etc
I never take any meds. I've been quite healthy til I was 75. Did the Ibuprofen ease the pain enough?
Very good and informative questions and answers
All information is true,as I have gone through this,,none information is missing
Ok I had a full hysterectomy and ovaries removed, I was asleep when the catheter was inserted. And I had the Laparoscopic done. I wasn't in no serious pain when I woked up from the surgery, the only time I felt pain when I try to get out and back in bed or try to sit and get up. I was discharge the next day after the catheter was removed. My 6wks follow up was good with my healing with the incision on my stomach which I had a hole on each side of my stomach below and a hole at my belly button.
But now here's it is almost the end of the of January 2022 when I pee I get a cramping feeling and when I stop peeing it stops, Is this normal? Please respond.
Thank you so much. This helped me with a lot of questions that I had...
This is great she asks lots of questions and more that I would want to ask very informative
This is very informative VDO. Thank you for posting.
How long does it take for the wound to totally close and be sealed
I had this procedure done I was very stiff for a couple of days I did a walking exercise to make my stiffness go away and also if I had too much pain I was on a low dosage pain medication getting this done made my life a lot better
Week one, I still can’t get out of bed and walk around by myself
Excellent advice. Thankyou

Looks like two actors having learned lines. How come I was told it would take 10 months for me to recover from my radical laparoscopic hysterectomy. Tell the truth. You’re giving false hope.
Ten months is too long. I had a total hysterectomy and I was away from work for 4 weeks and went back to work. What country are you in? May depend on the medical practice in your country.
Having a vaginal surgery I'm scared
@@lunababy662 have u had it yet. How are you doing?
They are both doctors
It's up to 6 weeks, but 6 month is to heal internal words, this is valid for any surgery btw
