Dating is So Difficult. It’s like people don’t want to get close, or don’t even try to get to know more about me, before they make a decision to Not get to know me. I am an Active 63y/o disabled vet who, after receiving my chair, I maintained my 3900 sq/ft house with a 1.4 acre yard by myself from my chair. I spent $ 6 figures renovating house with roll in shower and chair glides, kitchen shelving and much more to make house accessible. I’ve received my Master SCUBA Diver’s Certification, learned and was on a team that Won the U.S. National Wheelchair Curling Bronze medal. (Including the Paralympic and National teams there is only about 42 Competitive Wheelchair Curlers in the U.S.) I’m a U S Wheelchair Bowling Member, I’m a member of the Wheelchair Body building Assoc., I still play Pool…and much more. But… Dating Is Very Hard.
My husband of 52 years was driving when we missed a curve in the mountains. We were just engaged a week. We are both Christians and drew so much encouragement and hope from God's promises and Presence in our lives. I am blessed that he didn't leave me. I am not dependent on him for my personal care, but he maintains my chair. He also puts my chair in and out of the car when we don't go in my van.
I am in an interabled couple. My boyfriend of almost 4 years has Cerebral Palsy. It only affects his fine motor skills, and also his lower half. He can not walk or bear weight so he is wheelchair bound. You two are an inspiration. People tend to have the concept that disabled/ handicapped people have little quality of life or can not do much on their own, and that is the farthest thing from the truth.
My first wife had osteogenesis imperfect she was short stature and used a wheelchair. We got some odd looks when we were out in public. I know people thought I was her caregiver and many times people asked her if they could pray for her and "lay hands" on her to "heal" her.
When your partner said something about leaving you underwear in you shorts, or just lying around like, in the bathroom or the bedroom, I must admit I thought, "Hmmm.. that sounds familiar!" I just thought I'd mention, I'm a Christian too! I really like you guys as a couple. Obviously I don't know you, but from what I can see, you're great!
yea, insurance needs to help with more OUTSIDE the home. been tring to get mobile van somehow just a left makes all the difference. its crippling when you can not get those... Just learning how to maintenance on my electric. or it cost cause insurance will not cover that. So, a bike shop would be good place and cheaper to take it too vs wheel chair co?
I'm so sorry Andrea...if you needed help, you'd get help way before him. Like if you needed a urologist...you'd be seen before him and not have stipulations.
I use the wheelchair myself and I find fat people are really nosy like they don't ask people can I have the people have sex why would people be same sex how do they live their life I'ma wheeler I use wheels for legs I don't care for the name disabled because disability is a state of mind not state of body you can always find another way of doing things and everyone has a disability everyone has something that they just cannot do no matter what but they don't ever for size their disability or they don't look at trying to fix their disability and what you said about religion I'm very proud to be an atheist and what other Christians think and say about me I really don't care because nothing that they say is evidence is it truth faith is a lack of evidence lack of knowledge

Yep Andrea does the same for me putting my chair in and out of the car when we're together :)

I couldn't agree more Toni, thank you for the kind words I hope you enjoy our channel! Have a great day!
That just boggles my mind that people think being disabled somehow means having a sad life. My life won't always perfect but it's still a good life.
Amen to that its all about perspective.
Hey

Andrea was right - In Vitro Fertilization
IUIs are also possible and less invasive for Andrea!
I am in a manual chair how did "walking down the aisle" happen?
I rolled, Andrea and I have been together long enough she knows how to hold my hand in a way so that I don't veer to one side or the other
So happy that you proclaim your faith in Jesus Christ. God is so good.
Yes He is! I am very blessed to be where I am today! Couldn't have done it without Him!
The holy rollers spend way too much time watching these phony tv evangelists.
@@AdaptedAdventures what a happy couple 😁😁God bless the couple 😇😇

Evangelists can be very insensitive
That's because they are so delusional.
