- In this episode I install the Link air temp sensor on my Altezza for my ITBs and tidy up the now unneeded wires from the OEM throttle body and intake manifold.
Link air temp sensor part number 101-0045
Nice video. Finished the whole video but didnt mention anything on the TPS wiring. Do you use the original Altezza TPS connection and wiring?
Whats the impact of the additional ait temp sensor on ecu mapping? I saw ITB on 4age engine didnt use the Link air temp sensor and runs good horsepower.
The TPS is original wiring, yes. It was uncut and unchanged in any way that's why I didn't mention it.
Was planning to talk about the TPS when I set it up. But you're right, this is the wiring video and I should have talked about it..... My bad.
As far as the air temperature sensor goes, the base map that I got for the link ECU requires an air temp sensor so I did it.
I'm also of the opinion that you can't have too many sensors..
@@GarageKeithanks for the reply.
did uou get the Link mapped already when you bought it? I wonder if there will be any Link mapping video from you and see the dyno process and results.
Awesome work! I love how the Pipercross Filter looks :)
Thanks! Me too. Its really hard work though and as you'll see in a coming video, the work is not done....
Those polished air trumpets are sooooooo good! Best thing since a 45mm Weber! (oops... showing my age....)
I'm glad you like them. Makes me feel a little better about the price... 🤣😂
@@GarageKei In the end, it's the grin factor that matters...
So excite for vroom vroom soon.
Me too. Still such a long way to go!!!
Doing nice work on the car! Great mods! And some good looks! Btw now i think of it, i didnt heard the jingle bingle iceberry petrol truck in a long time on your vids? Did it vanished? 🤣
Thanks man. Hope it all works. The iceberry patrol truck. Lol
They cruise around all winter only and yea they come by every week at least once just haven't been recording at that time.
Very noice 👌
Thanks! Now I hope everything still works. I didn't actually research this before cutting all those off. 😂😂😂
