Nails Efile Machine Pricing Factors | What to look for when buying a new efile for nails?
Now. People get really confused and frustrated when they see an efile, on Amazon for example, cost $60 and then scout out a professional brand and see the cost of an efile start at $300 and up to $450 in price?
    Why the huge discrepancy?
Torque, my friend. At least, that is one of the primary reasons. Another reason is motor technology will get into technology in a little bit.
Let’s start with Torque. Torque is a measurement of force. You often experience this force as a resistance force when your e-file bit touches the nail surface. If you notice your efile stop or slow down upon the bit touching the intended surface, your efile has low torque. Which means that in order for your efile to continue spinning at (20-35,000 RPM) you will have to apply A LOT of pressure on that nail to continue working at a high speed. A good quality efile will have both high torque and high RPM.

Hey Paola! Thanks for another great video! I would love to see you review your current e-file. Although I am a DIYer myself, I still would rather invest in something a bit more expensive and higher quality than buy something because it was cheaper and have it crap out on me a couple months later.
    Thanks!

Yes, me too. Momma taught me you get what you pay for 😉. Quality=actually less money paid.

Hi Paola, thank you for this very informative video. I’m a DIYer and I’m willing to pay a little more for a higher quality nail drill. Can you tell me if coreless motors are better than brushless ones, or vice versa?

What are some good recommendations for some decent but budget friendly efiles? Thanks in advance guys....

The most professional efile that will (at least should) last you for years is a Saeshin. A corded option is less than $200, which is impressive for this caliber of efile. You can find them at Nashlynails (paolaponcenails.com/nashlynails). I am an affiliate with them, and they have generously extended my audience an additional 5% off on these with code PPN5.

Not sure. I was not really focusing on reviewing each machine in this video.
What do you want to know?
I owned for a year, operates excellent. Quite, vibration free. I sold it to one of my students to get back to the Nail Labo which I owned like 4 years ago. It’s a little bit more on brand with what I do in this channel currently.
Bought the Valentino because it is super cute!
