Good stuff! I agree with a lot but take issue with a couple of things. I do not find him thematically strong. His guns a do not feel like guns (see Rocket). Not only is Multigun a multigun but his pistols are multi-pistols too. I do not have a thematic disconnect with guns thwarting (if arrows can so can guns & Judge Dredd used to do this) but they have effective static bonuses unless you accidentally ready him without using Run & Gun. Multigun is functionally very much like a readying effect with the extra "undermine the nemesis" mode. He is more that slightly OP he is in my 5 heroes that make the game significantly easier to play pile with the Caps the Dr & the Witch. (I find 3/5 of them really fun so that's not much of a complaint) Spidersense is, I assume, an ability that is shared by Venom & Spiderman in the sources so it makes sense they both have it. It is a thematic success as it ties them together. It is not a direct copy as you have to play it. Same with Grasping Tendrils vs Webbed Up, though those are more distinct they do the same thing & also make webbed up look very sad. I hope the various spider beings have something that ties them together so they have something that makes you feel like you are playing variations of the same character not just a bunch of mechanisms or access to a couple of key word cards. The avengers/guardians have those and they are both very diverse bunches. I felt Wasp & Ant man could have done with one more card in common than just Pym particles though that may just reflect my disappointment with Wasp. It might be too much of a stretch for the Spiders as there are a lot of them but I hope there is something. The Champions all have 2 cost 4 damage attack cards (with diverse riders) and 2 cost 3* threat thwart cards and I wonder if that was deliberate and if so if it works to give them some sort of team identity. *4 for Miles who looks astonishingly overpowered...
Hello Gideon! Are you going to make a video for Nebula? Love your analysis skills!
Yep! I should hopefully have it out sometime next week.
My fav hero along with Spider-Man. Super strong.

I enjoyed the review, and I'll be looking at the rest! (I'm not seeing a video playlist /cry)
There is a tabletop playlist, though it's not specific to Marvel Champions.
Great review! Venom has been pretty great. He isn't S super tier, but he is a solid A tier for me :D
Thanks for the kind words and for watching the video!
