Totally agree with the covers needed over the AC ports.
Yep, It would be nice to protect the ports from dust and water splash :)
Rob.I got my New Black on black 120v pecron e2000lfp... arrived in 2 days!!...we do live near a town with an Amazon distribution center...im SOOO STOKED!!!NOW We are much more prepared for a catastrophe or black out😊❤
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!
If you have any questions, We are here to help you :)
600 lfp is much better buy than bluetti eb3a for the money another reviewer on RUclips was running this 600lfp for over 5min at 1400 watts
I do like the app that the EB3A power station.
But for the price, This pecron e600lfp kicks the jeepers off that model :)
P.S. We ran 1250+ watts for 15 minutes with ZERO problems or heat :)
Hello Miss Rambling Rob😊
Hello
Thank you for your feedback so your review on Amazon
Thank you for joining us on the channel :)
Everything on Sale on the Pecron site, Just picked one up for 299.
That is a great price for the e600lfp
(only 50 cents per watt hour and awesome for a LIFEPO4 power station)
me too
Just to let anyone know that are interested in getting the Pecron units. If you plan on using the dc barrel ports for anything, the two barrel port outlets are 5525 ports, odd size but you can get some adaptors to make the go to 5521 ports. I looked at the manual to find out why the 5521 barrel plug cord I have did not fit.
True, We forgot all about that because we never use them. Good info :)
You can buy a simple adapter kit with like 10 dc tips for a couple bucks to convert yours to what you need.
I don't have one, but the website says they are 5521. I assume you are correct, which makes me wonder about the company website.
Also a good solution is to buy an adapter "usb-c - 5521" (2$). After that you can charge the station using a portable charger 100W
Thank you
This thing is almost perfect for my needs except when connected to solar panels. When the sun goes down, the unit goes into a mode where the fans start to run and keep increasing in speed as the unit gets warms. It doesn't stop until you unplug the panels
Have not seen this happen on ours. Have no idea what that is from.
Hey Bob just ordered the E600LFP and looking for a good budget 200 watt portable solar panel for this. Any suggestions?? I was looking at the ALL POWERS 200 watt and the BALDR 200 watt. Looks like I just missed out on the ALL POWERS newer panel for $231. Back up to $386
We do not have that much knowledge of the solar panels yet :(
Still searching also, The bluetti pv200 are very nice (own 4) but they are very pricey.
Our favorite so far is the harbor freight 100w mono panels but you have to mod the cable and hook them up in series. But they really are good power out.
It looks good...yes i bought the bluetti eb3a .. Which is awesome as far as functality and app abilities..my only gripe would be the smaller battery..the light i figured out a design for a diffuser ..like the E.D.C light diffuser..or covering it with a semi transparent tape or plastic thats silicone glued in place on the edge etc...the silicone can easily be removed later and will not void a warranty because you can remove it entirely ..The light is a con to some on most units if it blinds you while trying to ise the unit..back lit buttons in red would be key Rob..tell them..lol
good info, i will try to pass that along :)
And that powerlifting thing they have, when you get close to 600w output does it start distorting the sine wave and lower the voltage output.
I would not use it all the time ;)
Mine was dead on arrival. Bunch of emails. It was a pain. Took 1 month to get a replacement
It just would not turn on or anything? We had UPS throw a bunch of stuff that we got from bluetti, And some of it did not work right out of the box. Videos of it are on this channel. Wonder if it was from pecron or shipping maybe?
What did pecron say?
I may have missed it, but is the 100W USB-C port bidirectional? Thanks
No :(
We wish that it had that feature, We have that option on only one power station that we own, and it is awesome.
@@RamblinBobReviews Thanks!
Hey Bob!! Thanks for the reviews!! Two reason I want to buy the E600LFP is to add a little more power to my 2000 in the early morning and also use its 300watt charger to speed charging of my 2000 on cloudy days. My question is, have you tried to use the 600 to charge or adding a little more watt hours to the 2000. like barrel output 600 to barrel input 2000 or cig port 600 to barrel 2000? What is the 600 DC output amp rated at? Thanks again!!
yes, we use that charger for the e600lfp to add extra power in through the batteries many times when needed :) works just fine.
but you have to remember that the power meter gets all weird until you fill up the whole system again so it understands ;)
note: it is rated at 2v @ 7a :)
@@RamblinBobReviews Have you used the actual E600lfp to charge the e2000lfp?
sure, it is the same thing, e2000lfp excepts 32-95v up to 15 amps, it does not care where it comes from, just as long as it is the right specs :)
we have used it many times that way
@@RamblinBobReviews yes but the DC out of the E600 is only 12volts and ?? amps. So will the barrel input on the E2000 handle it. Not enough to put in the 5 pin input!!
Sorry, Misunderstood the last part of your comment.
We only used the cig out of the e6000lfp to the barrel input of the e2000lfp to power dump some extra energy into the e2000lfp.
Bt we have used the e600lfp charger to charge bother the e2000lfp or eb3000 many times.
we have never tried the barrel to barrel power dump yet
I ran a wh AC efficiency test which ran unit to 0% charge and got about an 89% efficiency. When I charged the unit back up with the charging brick the light stayed on green w/0 watts showing until an 18% charge was reached. The brick light finally turned red and input wattage at 272w. It took about 40 mins at this point. Is there something wrong with unit or charging brick or is this normal?
It is bad to run the battery so low and then try to shove power into the battery cells. So the charger was trickle charging it until the cells were ready to take real power we think.
note: But we do understand that is the only way to get a capacity test :)
Thanks, it fully charged after 18% was reached and ramped on up to 272 watts input and fully charged at a total of 3hrs.
Which is better to wire two 100w solar panels, in series or in parallel and why?
All depends on the setup, Many things...
example:
in series, if one panel gets shade, you lose both panels power
in parallel, if one get shade, the other other still works 100%
example:
in series, Higher voltage, you can use thinner wire
But there are many other reasons to, It all depends on what your setup is
@@RamblinBobReviews I have the Pecron E600Lfp w/2 Eco-Worthy 100w panels.
I would put the 2 panels in series because you want to get above 32v VOC to be able to use the 5 pin aviation port on the e600lfp :)
@@RamblinBobReviews Thanks
Bob: If pecron makes these bulletproof…. Then that serial number swap will be mute point….. no reason to send back since they don’t fail….
I agree to that. Just wanted them to have good serial number for proof of ownership :)
Overall very pleased with my unit.
Some observations re solar charging:
After thorough testing, I can't figure out why solar input to the Pecron E600LFP is relatively low with panels in series (all other configurations, i.e. single panel or in parallel behave as expected).
This is our test results (done with 340 W qcells rigid panels - Voc of 40.91 V and VMPP of 34.10 V):
300 W solar input from a single qcells 340 W panel
270 W solar input from two(!!) qcells 340 W panels connected in series
So even lower input from two panels connected in series, than from a single panel!!??
390 W solar input from two qcells 340 W panels connected in parallel
393 W solar input from three qcells 340 W panels connected in parallel
Anyone got an idea, why the Pecron E600LFP has such a relatively low solar input from panels connected in series?
That is weird, We tested our in series at 3 different voltages and everything was just fine. What are the amps of these panels you have?
@@RamblinBobReviews Amps according to datasheet:
MINIMUM PERFORMANCE AT STANDARD TEST CONDITIONS, STC
Short Circuit Current 10.46 A
Current at MPP 9.97 A
MINIMUM PERFORMANCE AT NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS, NMOT
Short Circuit Current 8.43 A
Current at MPP 7.85 A
@@nikolajhol You are the 4th person we have heard from that have qcell's panels, and is having strange numbers charging either the e600lfp or the e2000lfp.
Anyway to test the VOC and VMPP with a meter, And watch the power bands in real time to watch for dips or changes?
The other 3 scribers that we heard from had the same trouble with voltage over 80v.
Just wondering if for some reason the power is being throttled by the power station for some reason?
We have only tested apx 20v, 40v, 60v, 70v VOC for charging both of these units.
There seems to (maybe?) be an issue with charging these power stations over 80v.
We need more tests to be sure.....Do you remember the video of the e2000lfp that we did, when we hooked up 2 x pv300 (330w) pecron solar panels and it made the MPPT controllers act all weird, and then just shut down? And that was about 78v VOC.
(And we changed out the entire set of controllers for new ones because of that and then they worked fine)
ruclips.net/video/xMIqJnT9D9E/видео.html
Guess there a 300 lfp coming from pecron
Maybe, You never know, But we would happy happy to review it for them if they need it. If it is anything as good as this model, It will be a winner :)
There is.
156% in iraq with cooling water filled gear..My boy Tells me was bad.. That's the hottest if heard of.
That is hot for sure :(
