    It is impressive the increases in capability these things have had in the past year or two. They are getting better and better. I'm excited to see where they go as far as storage and efficiency.

    I asked Pecron about this very topic, since I have a 22v / 120w panel and their response was: "According to the data you provided for your solar panel, it can be used on the E600LFP because the E600LFP is a special model and the explanation we received from the engineer so far is that it can receive the input from the solar panel beyond a certain range, so you can use it with confidence."
    I think you're right that since it's a single mppt, it will accept anything in between those ratings. You'll probably have to keep the watts not too high on the DC5521 barrel port.

      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад +2

      Yep, I was surprised to see that it takes such a low voltage in the 5 pin, BUT, I'LL TAKE IT :)
      Not a fan of barrels.

    good job. I like these battery stuff myself.
    Oh I have an odd question - can you charge this from a USB output? For example the USB C PD which is 240(?) watts - if there was an adapter? The reason to ask is a car might have the cigarette lighter port but also could have the USB C PD port which should be better.

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  11 месяцев назад

      The USB-C PD port is only 100 watts and can not except power input, It is only a power output port. So this model does not allow that kind of charging thru USB :(

      @@RamblinBobReviews hey thanks for the reply, appreciate it. I tried researching - what I was looking for is a USB-C adapter to the Anderson power pole which has the 5-pin aviation plug.
      It would connect something like this - from the USB-C PD in the car - to an adapter - to the Anderson cable - to the 5 pin input on the E600. This would be interesting, yes? If this could work, Pecron could sell or include a USB-C cable to 5-pin directly.

    • @mannygee005
      @mannygee005 11 месяцев назад

      Comparing these two,
      Cigarette lighter port to barrel input for charging - 100w (7 hours)
      USB-C PD to 5-pin aviation port for charging - 240w (?)

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  11 месяцев назад

      @@mannygee005 I just can't see 240w coming out of the usb-c cable. The heat building would be crazy hot. Right now, they are maxed out at 100w (20v @ 5a) for that very reason...heat & resistance build up.
      And then you would have to make 100% certain that the polarity is correct or you would have another huge problem to deal with :(

    I just bought the 600lfp and a elecaenta 200w seems to charge and run fine but once it's 100% solar stops with load still applied and did not start charging again. Let it get down to maybe 90% and unplugged solar and reattached then it started charging. Anybody else had this issue Thanks

      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад

      We have not had this issue, Maybe one of the scribers have seen this before.

    One of the great things about my E2000 is the high battery capacity efficiency. Does the E600 test as well?

    Hello: What is that device called that you have in your hand about the 7:40 mark. It Connects to solar panel and shows output!! Also, I could not find the link for it you were going to post? Never mind, I figured it out!! LOL

      @@trw7530 I asked Pecron this very same question and they said yes and you can use at same time for 900watt total E2000lfp charging, but you cannot use the E2000lfp brick on the E600lfp. Bob from your response, are you saying you can use the E2000lfp 600watt brick on the E600lfp?

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад +4

      We use the e2000lfp brick on the e600lfp with zero problems many times.
      Since they are the same voltage...But the e2000lfp brick puts out more watts and amps....So it does not have to run at full power to charge the e600lfp. Making the brick not have to work as hard to charge it.
      The MPPT controller inside the e6000lfp just limits the power going into the system :)
