@@grahamswildcamping thanks Graham. Much appreciated mate. I love cooking on the Trangia. Hate carrying it and cleaning it though 🤣 I’ve really been enjoying your videos as well. Particular the eclectic taste descriptions. All the best mate 🙏
Thanks Steve, much appreciated. I had a great camp at Bleaklow stones on Saturday night with a mate. It’d be great if we could have a camp together in the Peaks sometime before Christmas if you’re up for it. 🎄 All the best 👍
40 years ago since I was last up there hare coursing 😂got 100 pund fine was steep then lovely underrated countryside I think alot like Northumberland terrain wise canny vid I'm new sub there to you and your father's channel
@@davidhudson7590 that was a steep fine for 50 years ago. Yeah, think Weardale is overlooked. Thanks for watching and subbing. Much appreciated David 🙏
Looked like a cracking area for a camp Steve ⛺️👌, ideal pitch for the tents on that shelf, do you think the A frame set up would be stronger in the wind than just the one pole on the duomid ? Looks like it definitely gives you a look of space using it that way mate, spot on, atb Mick 👍
@@otf.outdoors hi Mick, yeah it’s a cracking area and doesn’t seem very popular with wild campers. I think the single pole option is definitely stronger in high winds. I was in high winds at the weekend in the Peak District and I used the single Pole and it was rock solid!!! All the best Mick 👍
Nice looking scran as always, mate! West Rigg looks like it was designated as a geological SSSI so provided you don’t damage the geology, I don’t *think* camping would be an offence under the 1981 Wildlife and Countryside Act. Obviously, the actual camping without landowner permission bit is a _different_ thing.
Classy cooking as always Steve. A lovely spot in a beautiful dale. Thanks mate 👍🏻
