Hi Diane, thank you for the sew along video, I don't have that book yet so will go through this video again when I am ready to do so..I am all most ready for the last book you worked through "Tilly and the Buttons Stretch" so I will use your videos that work through those makes. Pleased I found you, you are someone that gives me confidence by the way you teach and for that I am grateful to you. Have a lovely week....looking forward to your next sew along.Susan 🤗🌼
Well done again for squeezing your blouse out of the tiny amount of fabric, Dianne! I just finished my third pair of True Bias Lander pants in a plain twill. I faced the fly and waistband in a different, patterned fabric that I got in a scrap bundle from Minerva. This was deliberate, as I had enough of the main fabric. The facings don't show but I know they are there. It's like a cute little secret and it makes me smile!
Hi Liz, it is good to use the small bits up like that and can often add extra details. I am thinking I sould try these True Bias pants as you love them so much.
Yes, I do but three is probably enough! Two are lightweight twill, good for warm days. The first pair are a heavier twill and are a bit warm for summer.
That looks very similar to the Friday pattern company Patina blouse (which I love) and I didn't realise there were garments for non beginners in that book. Thanks Dianne 😊
Lovely.
Great work, the blouse looks great. Cheers Mary
Thank you
I have by passed this pattern. After seeing yours I’m going to give it a go. Thanks for sharing 😊

Hi, thank you, I hope you enjoy making it.

Hi Annette I don't know that pattern but this one works very well. Thanks for watching.
Love this blouse, I’ve got the book and really must try it. Do you think you could make it without the buttonholes and slip over your head x
Thank you. Probably yes it's quite loose, then you could always add a small side zip if you want it fitted.
I hate buttons and I hate any type of clothing with exposed buttons, especially those small plastic ones. They look creepy. No offense intended.
No offense taken, we all have our own preferences.
