ASP aka WSL along with Surfing Australia and all the other national surfing body's around the world have achieved their decades long goal of expanding surfing to the masses to make it mainstream and digestible for corporate consumption. The rejection of the mainstream is ironically what surfing was born out of. Congrats to those governing bodies, you did it 🎉

Just cuz you read some intellectual articles in Surfers Journal years ago doesnt make you an intellectual writer. Hands down the most childish gossip read in surfing ever. But little kids love it soo here we are.
The waves were so bad this year, it was horrific. Not even worth watching. Beyond trash waves. If it wasn't a WSL event, they could have had a waiting period, because this was unwatchable and the commentators were an affront to God and Man.
Chas is a hardcore shill for the WSL. The pipemasters did not originate as tour contest and trying to discredit it for your overlords will not succeed. The pro tour is lame . Real surfers like watching surfing, don’t care about wsl clown show
