I've forgotten how well this epic movie was made. The music score alone was ahead of it's time. It also reminds me of a wonderful time in my young life, my friends of the faith, and consummate travel.
The reason why you and many cannot tire from this epic movie and or the film clips, is for the same : Humanity hungers away from the oppression from these man made rulerships and its subsequent injuries to their brethren.

The sarcasm and dark humor of this line is epic. Equally touching is the Egyptian soldier giving Moses the tunic, saying "I wish this was your armor," and their reaction when Ramses tells him the mother made it before she died.

It isn't about a religion. It is a relationship we have individually with Jesus (Yeshua). This movie is unscriptual in a lot of ways but the message is still there. In the OT people were saved by their faith in the coming of the Messiah, but in the NT we are saved by the blood of Yeshua. God does not send people to hell. They choose it because they aren't born again and putting their trust in Yeshua.
I hope you're joking (I don't recall they're mentioning those are the pyramids of Giza). There are a bunch of pyramids in Egypt, some look even sadder than those in this scene.
Charlton Heston looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger faces off against Yul Brynner (who played as a cyborg in 1973 Westworld), I wonder if Heston plays as T-800 and Brynner as T-1000, but in a way ahead of their time. Their roles in this movie deliberately imposing an ideal that they could had played roles as archenemies again but in an action movie.
Why couldn't they have filmed the entire scene in the open desert? The part where C.Heston walks down the desert was obviously outdoors but the scene with Yul Brenner was in a stage someplace. Continuity is movie magic - they should remake this movie. Exactly the same, but with some minor tweaks.

Last year I watched a walking tour video of Cairo and was horrified by the buildings and the trash, even around the big mosque, there was tons of trash. The laws there say that if you build a house and don't finish it then you don't pay taxes so no one finishes their homes. Many of the tourist sites are not upkept either much the pity either. Some friends recently spent ten day going down the Nile and the Lake and the boat was impecable so maybe there are some places well maintained.
I just saw the Cristian Bale, Joel Edgerton mess of a movie. It put me to sleep, it was a horrid, dreadful and souless work of fiction. This movie is compelling and powerful it has the feel of the true dynamism that only our Lord can imbue.

He killed an Egyptian who was beating a slave, and the Pharaoh tried to arrest him and have him executed, but Moses fled by himself into the wilderness and ended up in Midian.

Israelis are middle eastern people not African like you.The new testament written in Greek not Hebrew so the name JESUS in greek is " yay-soos" or " YESUS" and the English name Jesus had been read as " YESUS" before the pronunciation of "J" changed,so it matches with the greek name so its right to call him JESUS. Btw the name JESUS or YESUS has been written differntly in different languages. My point is JEWS weren't or aren't black, they are middle eastern people. @@TheIndependentLens From childhood I wanted to become an Egyptologue but life chose otherwise. Last year I watched a walking tour video of Cairo and was horrified by the buildings and the trash, even around the big mosque, there was tons of trash. The laws there say that if you build a house and don't finish it then you don't pay taxes so no one finishes their homes. Many of the tourist sites are not upkept either much the pity either. Some friends recently spent ten day going down the Nile and the Lake and the boat was impecable so maybe there are some places well maintained.
I just saw the Cristian Bale, Joel Edgerton mess of a movie. It put me to sleep, it was a horrid, dreadful and souless work of fiction. This movie is compelling and powerful it has the feel of the true dynamism that only our Lord can imbue.

He killed an Egyptian who was beating a slave, and the Pharaoh tried to arrest him and have him executed, but Moses fled by himself into the wilderness and ended up in Midian.
Thats me. Being born in elite family my cousings send me away. To the wildernes to fend for my self. My uncle obviously played dumb suporting his sons wich he dream to see become men of power. Bit instead became weak and useless.
My grandma couldnt go against 3 men. But now that shes old they have abandoned her to be alone and ignore her. I have a better tresure which is i found the kingdom of heaven.
